anatar the Lord of gifts was sauron's fair vage born solely to deceive the elves of arodor while the dark lord built his kingdom of Doom in the shadows of the East he sought to corrupt the wills of the free peoples of Middle Earth in this marvelous video we'll be taking a deep dive not only into how Sauron came to be anatar but also the devastating consequences we'll also talk about the events prompted to construct his own stronghold of Bor in the fiery lands of Mordor now Sauron had a choice he could have chosen to sway them Men first infiltrate their Noble kingdoms and turn them over to his cause but he settled on the elves first as they were stronger in wit and battle around the year 1200 of the second age Sauron dawned his fair Elish form he called himself anatar the Lord of gifts who was sent as a holy Emissary by The Valor themselves as anatar he tried to visit Lyndon but the high King gilgalad and Elon distrusted this Fair stranger they didn't realize his proper form but since something was off nonetheless anatar settled on visiting the kingdom of Nan east of Lyon he was welcomed with open arms in oron with the exiled Noor being eager to learn his ways of craftsmanship they beli the Emissary to be an apprentice of Ali the most excellent Smith of the Valor this stood steadfast as myON had worked under the great Smith before his heart was corrupted by morgoth the only ones who viewed anatar and Aion with suspicion were none other than gadil here anatar would meet Kell bmore the grandson of the master smith fanor Kell bmore worked alongside the GU e morine who were people of the jewel Smiths essentially a Brotherhood of elves who were incredibly skilled Smiths anatar made it seem as though he was doing the Elven Smiths of a region a service by teaching them his ways but in fact Sauron as anatar needed Kell Bimbo's expertise to quietly observe the intricacies that would eventually go into forging his one ring of power they absorbed anatar Gifts of knowledge eagerly for nearly 200 years growing to a superlative excellence in their craft forging the rings of power anatar the deceiver at last the GU eer dine and Kell bmore forged the 16 great rings of power under anatar guidance his fair Elven vage promised that the rings of power were benevolent forces of the universe that would help preserve their precious nooran Realms in the year 1600 of the second age anatar took his leave from the elves of oron and discreetly returned to Corridor in the heart of Mount Doom Sauron forged the one ring to rule them all one ring to find them one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them his plan was coming to fruition with the elves nearly in his grasp while the race of men was on his radar next he knew that men were easily seduced by Hollow Promises of Fame and power meanwhile kellmore had also forged three more rings of power in anatar absence these were narya the ring of fire Nya the Ring of water and Vila the Ring of air all of these remain hidden and were eventually given to Kyan and gadil naturally these were made from the knowledge taught by anatar which bound them to Sauron to a certain degree the moment Sauron put on the One Ring the elv sensed his deceit Kell rimbor realized in horror that he had been fooled he had been used as an instrument from middle Earth's Devastation the dark lord Sauron who now reveled in his power demanded that the 19 rings of power be handed to him but Kell bmore had been wise to hide the Rings the moment anatar scheme unfurled the elves now knew better than to wield said rings of power and unwittingly become pwns and sauron's desires for middlee Earth what came next was the war of the elves and Sauron a long and grueling fight which marked the beginning of the black Years first the dark lord fortified his own land of Mordor by building the Behemoth black gate to keep any foes from invading his stronghold he then proceeded to take up arms and gather his armies of the easterlings the hardam trolls Orcs and goblins from all corners of Middle Earth in an ultimate assault against the elves who dared to defy him this Arrow was when Sauron was at his most powerful than he's ever never been in token's lore thus the War Began with a brutal assault on Orion lady gad's husband Lord kbor LED his forces against sauron's wrath but could not hold their own for too long news of the battle reached the high King gilgalad who sent the finest Elven troops led by elron to oron's aid but even elon's troops were overwhelmed by Sauron sheer numbers due to which the chief city of Orion Austin ail fell Kell bmore and the GU e morine fought till their last defense to protect their Guild House the house of the mdy with Kell bmore in sauron's grasp master smith was mercilessly tortured to hand over the hidden rings of power while in excruciating pain Kell bmore was forced to give up the 16 rings to Sauron shortly before he was brutally killed Sauron as the Lord of the Rings after math of the war now with the 16 rings of power including his own Sauron continued to defile Kell bmo's body and used it as a war Banner for his armies elon's forces were nearly wiped out until the silven elves of laor and the dwarves of kadum swooped in his reinforcements this allowed El Ron to lead the survivors of oron north where he founded imladris or what we know as rivendale by this point Orion had been wiped off the face of the world the elves of oron either fled to rivendale some to Moria or a few ran through the mountains to the Woodlands on the other side which came to be known as lth lauran some even escaped Middle Earth altogether but no longer anatar Sauron was nowhere finished with the elves he sought to overpower in turn Cesar Lyon and acquire at least one of the three other rings of power Sauron eyed not only Lyndon and rivendale but also the grey Havens just as he seemed to have defeated the elves of arodor their Cry for Help was answered by the num manorian who sent a fleet to the rescue the battle of the guo was the last prominent fight in the war of the elves and Sauron which ended with gilgalad remaining forces combining with the king of numor tar Miner to defeat the dark lord Sauron was left with only a tiny personal bodyguard who allowed him to flee back to Mordor in the aftermath of this war Rivendell was officially recognized as the Elven stronghold of the East and elron was given Vila the sapphire ring of air for his courage and fierce loyalty to his kind although he was technically defeated in this war Sauron had done unimaginable damage to the elves of arodor the lands were forever changed with the new manorian setting up domains along the Westlands saon continued this dance of corrupting the men of the East and eventually decided to actualize his vision and ways other than brute strength he would destroy the Goodwill of the men and dwarves by giving them the 16 rings of power three were given to already shadowed numenorian Lords five to the kings of men one to an easterling king and the remaining seven to Dwarven Lords surprisingly the dwarves seem to resist the temptation of power and Glory offered by the Rings but the men quickly fell under the influence of their rings and withered away they would return as the nine the nine ring wraiths who would go on to become sauron's most loyal servants bound to him in their horrible fate even after his defeat in the war of the elves and Sauron the dark lord boastfully knighted himself as the lord of the world king of kings and King of the men to name a few the kingdom of numor was greatly offended by Sauron assuming these titles for himself keep in mind that the numenorians had already begun their descent into darkness but they fell deeper as their pride and Defiance of the Valor began to take hold of them around the year 3200 of the second age one of the greatest numenorian fleets docked along the southern coast of umbar the king at that time was our f on the proudest and cruelest of num Manor's rulers the numenorians launched a war against sauron's forces in Mordor unlike anything we've seen so far mordor's armies fled instead of standing the ground Sauron knew he couldn't take on numor amassed forces without his own military strength so he dawned his fair Elvish form yet again before allowing himself to be captured and taken away to the kingdom of numor Sauron was considered one of the most formidable antagonist to exist in token's lore not solely due to his Gatherings of power over and over again but also his cunning ability to deceive others once in numor Sauron prayed on the already shadowed minds of men and Rose to the position of King AR farzon most trusted adviser in no time still in his fair form that was once known as anatar Sauron was kned as zigor the wizard by the numenorians zigor planted poisonous seeds of doubt in the mind of the king he rebuked The Valor claiming that they had deceived the men by putting forward eru alatar as the Supreme Creator when really he was a phantom devised in the Folly of the their hearts Sauron whispered of all the glory and might and reach of the king if he turned to The Giver of Freedom Sauron had sung Praises of his master the Dark Lord morgo he managed to convince air ferzon to cut down the Nimo the white tree of numor which was a gift from the Eldar in its place the numenorians and this was his way of tearing apart their spirit and Humanity bit by bit so before the numenorians launched their assault massive eagle-shaped clouds hovered over their Kingdom as a Stern warning Sauron conveniently allowed this warning from The Valor to be brushed aside as it served his best interest as their faron's troops sailed to the land of Aman the Valar called Upon alvatar A as they were forbidden from physically hurting the race of men those of us familiar with tol keen's lore know that the one Creator eru hardly intervened in Mortal Affairs once the world was created but in the face of his primordial co-creators being challenged alatar forever changed the essence of his Universe he also opened up a chasm in the ocean which swallowed all of faron's fleets in the end cataclysmic waves crashed over numor killing everyone present destroying the kingdom and getting rid of sauron's fair form forever his Spirit did manage to flee but his ability to change into his Elven form of anatar the Lord of gifts and zigor the wizard was lost hence the era of Sauron the deceiver came to an end he went on to regain his strength Before the War of the last Alliance and started all over again in his non-corporeal form of The Necromancer how brand in the rings of power a madeup fair form an Amazon's TV show The Lord of the Rings the rings of power we got to see a this plan was disrupted by gadil who realized that he had been lying about his Origins G confronted how brand with a scroll that depicted a detailed genealogy of the king of the Southlands whose bloodline died along with him as a result how brand revealed his true identity as Sauron by getting into galad dril's head and posing as her brother finrod Sauron implored the idea of gadil joining his cause and together they could rule Middle Earth in the last episode of season 1 how brand fled back to Mordor while gadil rushed to Kell bmore and demanded he make haste to forge the three Elven rings of power as three would bring balance rather than divide and all the trailers released for season 2 of the Rings of power we got to see how BR in his Elish vage in this form Sauron returned back to oron and introduced himself to Kell rimbor as anatar the Lord of gifts with a forging of the 16 Rings underway we also got a glimpse at the impending doom in the second trailer here's what we can expect anatar slowly losing grip over his benevolence as he was a fallen Spirit after all kellmore realizing the extent of his actions and how they threatened Arad door's peace gadil confessing her negligence to gilgal in the wielding of the three Elven rings of Power by the looks of it we will also witness the tragic sack of Aion with elron trying his best to hold his forces along with the shadow beginning to cast itself over numor hopefully in the newest season anatar the lord of the gifts delivers the Dark Lord's manipulative nature in the second age after all he wasn't known to saon
