and going in a week two this is a game that everybody can watch the film and say you know what we did everything we could do to win this game and like you said there always one or two plays coaches are going to watch offense and defense and say hey if you did this maybe this changes but what's the message going into week two now well the message was be a golfish okay be a goldfish have you ever watched Ted lasso no I watched it you ever watch watching the wrong stuff on that this guy was at our game and didn't even watch our game he was John he's got a lot of I stood next to Ricky foggy for about two quarters I was there I was in the booth with darl th the brige with everybody what happened I had I that's why he's watching watching The Cliff Notes okay I'm just kidding uh be a goldfish Ted lasso talks about you know a guy comes up to him and he's really anxious about a play and he's really says sorry coach and all these things and he Ted lasso looks at him and says you know just be a goldfish and the guy looks at him just like you looked at me like what are you talking about uh goldfish is goldfish are the happiest animals on Planet because they have a 10-second memory and and and that's the point of it you've got to be able to flush it no pun intended there but you got to be able to let it go and you got to be able to move on and there's so much to learn from game one and I'm I'm a firm believer and you don't learn the most from game one to game two there there's an old saying in coaching you grow the most from game one to game two so Dory the Explorer is what you're saying that's not a goldfish though different similar simar I don't I don't know what kind of fish that was I just know that that lasto taught me the Goldfish part um but we want to be able to have that short memory we brought him in on the Friday for a reason we were able to watch the film get everything right with them then go apply it uh to Rhode Island as we started it on on Friday afternoon and and got right on the film so uh they were eager to practice we had a great practice today I thought they were practiced tremendous so uh that that's the whole message be one and0 in the Rhode Island season period we were 0 and one in the North Carolina season that was it period can't do anything about it we can learn all this stuff and go apply it you're kind of like a goldfish you Dory you have to be reminded every week what time the show starts so that's pretty similar Dory or D Dory so I said Dory the Explorer and then Lor corrected me it's Dory from Nemo I knew it I combine two things get it get get it straight you know we only talk about the hard-hitting stuff here on the PJ it's a kidfriendly show are watching this fox9 plus I like that though B Dory that's what I tell my daughter when she's on the mile pitching it's a it's a good idea no doubt about it we have so
