first one here for the Arkansas Razer backs and and Chris will give the uh the last two here but our first bold prediction taen green he's transferred in from Boise State to take over as quarterback of the Razer backs he steps into a Bobby patrino offense now as as patrino back at Arkansas as the offensive coordinator last year he had 1700 yards at Boise State he threw for 44 touchdowns in 28 games but my bold prediction for ton green this year even with the schedule that they have I think he throws for 2,000 plus yards this year for the Arkansas Razer backs I think he fits so well in this Bobby patrino system and I know you'll get to a receiver in a second but I like the receivers he has around him but I I went back and watched some tailon green uh film from the last couple of years when he was out at boisey State and I really like the way he moves and I feel like he is he's a Bobby patrino type quarterback you and so I think he throws for for 2,000 plus yards if you want to go really bold I think you could make the case that he has 3,000 combined yards total offense because he can also run 436 yards rushing a year ago so I I think um somewhere in that neighborhood is is is a good place to settle but um you talked about ton green and I don't know how bold this prediction is based on what he did a year ago but this is a league that's produced some receivers certainly it's got some fantastic quarterbacks I like Andrew Armstrong to be a top five receiver in this league statistically again I don't know how bold that was I think he was close last year 56 catches 764 yards 13 and a half yards per catch five scores I think Armstrong probably is going to be somewhere north of 900 yards he clearly looks like the best option they have at least statistically returning so I think Andrew Armstrong uh between what's around him and what ton green can do seems to be set up for aett pretty good year here Chase I think so too I like the wide receiver room and and especially Armstrong and like I think he can have that big year this year like I know these are these are bold predictions but that one I think is is potentially could could happen you know I think Armstrong is a very talented receiver and and I think they do need guys like that to step up so yeah I like that I like that prediction Chris what else you got all right I'm going to go to the defensive side for this one in Arkansas like 4.2 yards a rush last year not adjusted for sacks so you throw sacks out it's probably closer to four and a half or something like that and I'm I'm a little hesitant because I think the schedule is so tough that it could undo it but I really you know hey Razer back what do you think of a Razer back what do you think of you think of a large beefy thing that's hard to move well that's pretty much their defensive line they got Landon Jackson who's one of the better ends in the league you you start looking down at the dudes they've got Eric Gregory 64 324 um they got some 350 plus Pounders behind him even if they're not always experienced they got cam ball at that defensive tackle spot he goes 63 315 backed up by Kelby Rose 63 312 you get to move those dudes out of the way um they're experienced they're big I like Arkansas to hold after sacks teams under four yards or Rush again I do worry because of the schedule but hey bold predictions are kind of bold they're they're designed to be interesting and and maybe give you some insight about a team that you weren't really thinking about even if even if you're wrong there's some value in the prediction that's that's gonna be my bold prediction for Arkansas is because of that defensive line they're going to hold teams under four yards per Rush there are some big dudes looking at the uh looking at the roster here I mean they they've got some big dudes along that defensive line and he mentioned the schedule I think that's a big thing to keep in mind well but as well but uh but still I think that uh you know Travis Williams defensive coordinator you know he he's been there done that scheming wise you know and they've been putting I I I like that too I mean because the size of these guys yeah yeah I I I think that uh this is a team that that got some tough breaks had a hard season a year ago um I think seeing a kid like Landon Jackson back and I I was with dealt with him face to face at media Day last year just was very impressed how mature he is I think he was getting married in the off season maturity is a thing that's a little hard to come by sometimes in this transfer portal era but huge 67 282 probably gonna have a career in the NFL so I I just you know we take our chances somewhere and you look on paper and I'm like hey this group is Big it's got some experience uh why not let's let's take a leap here with Arkansas and and project the defensive line to really do some disrupt uped things up front this year all right so our three Bowl predictions for Arkansas ton green 2,000 plus yards throwing uh Andrew Armstrong top five receiver in the SEC and then that Arkansas defense holding teams to uh what was it five yards under four yards a rush under four yards a rush so hey those are our three bold predictions for the Arkansas Razer backs heading into 2024 and of course Chris we we'll be doing this for for all the teams here on the channel we will sometimes bold
