playing Devil's Advocate with you I love playing chess chess on the airwaves with um with um distinguished Minds like yours so and this is genuine it isn't just me trying to make an argument I think Enoch Bark's a bit mad be before you jump in with two feet i' I've got the thing about these evangelicals and I'm going to give you my T and worth on it and then you take over and tell me why I'm wrong and when this all began I also think it's ludicrous um people saying I'm nonbinary and refer to me as they or I was born in the wrong body so my name is no longer Daniel you will refer to me from now on as Marie I think it's a bit ridiculous however I'm I'm an old libertarian so I'm kind of like well look I don't really think you really are a woman or a girl but look I'm happy to call you by whichever name you you you you have chosen so I said this back in the day now now he has been fired or suspended and he's being paid pending some sort of kind of a hearing into whether the sacking was right so him repeating L turning up defying a court order not to do so I just don't understand it why doesn't he allow the the the hearing into his wrongful dismissal case whether he was wrongfully dismissed or not allow that to take its course I just don't get it John and the Evangelical thing I'm a little bit um iffy about that as well now I know this means a lot to you what are your thoughts on this whole case which has been going on now for the best part of two years and uh and his incarceration again yesterday which is outlandish I don't like it but I played a legal scholar on the program before you came on who said well what else are the courts to do if a bloke just bloody well won't stay away John Waters your thoughts uh to go back to your original point you know that that is he is en know for kind of bunkers or whatever yeah H not exactly your word I don't remember but you see no Ireland is bongers so when you look at fam par to Ireland and Ireland in its generality the in its official condition and the behavior of the institutions of Ireland the behavior of the courts who no longer are capable of being reasonable in any context this is the way you have to look at this in my de Richie H you see there are no adults left in Ireland Richie this is the problem there was a time Irish people over a certain age were sensible and as you kind of went up to the institutions and up to the level the layers of authority the T that tended to get stronger that element of reason and logic and fairness and Justice and now we have the direct opposite where a crazy ideology which is being imposed on Ireland not by the people who are you know seeking to change their genders or whatever that's all contagion this is an orchestrated attempt to demoralize the people of Ireland and to destroy their capacity to hold to any belief at all or understand anything or have any opinion that they can trust and express publicly in the first instance that's what this is about so you have to see which which you have to see Enoch Park as standing for something now the Evangelical thing is you know is it confusion in this in my view you don't need to be a Christian rich to see this as being problematic what's going on in Ireland generally and in this particular context of the transgender I mean we had a transgender law brought in behind the backs of the people back nearly a decade ago no discussion just dropped on people's laughs we had a referendum in 2012 which I fought against which took away the rights of parents to defend their own children in many instances now I'll be honest with you Richie I fought it on lots of grounds you know philosophical and in principle and in Practical and so on never once did it dawn on me Richie that this law could result in a child of an innocent child you know destroying themselves physically and mentally and their parents not being able to help them or stop them that's what this has now brought about all this was orchestrated together you had a woman called Katherine zapon a lesbian childish lesbian who is a minister children who pushed this stuff on the Irish public behind their backs so the entire Irish establishment has been corrupt on these issues for a long long time and I do not believe that they even know what they're doing Richie I don't know think they understand what this is about I actually think it's conceivable that some of these people think they're being Progressive but they're not they're being demonic they're being satanic and which you know Enoch B and we come to the Evangelical thing because in a certain sense I agree with you and not not exactly in the way you put it but I I I my point is this I don't need to be an Evangelical I don't even need to be a Christian to know that if there's a young boy standing before me I call him he or she you sorry he you you know the idea of calling them day is an Abomination it's ridiculous yeah I agree with that I do agree with and the point is you see which you your point is valid if somebody says to me I want you to call me you know I don't know Bonkers you want to call me to call you Bonkers really yeah okay and and okay well I won't ask you if you are Bonkers but yeah okay between me and you that's fine I call you anything you like this is not about that this is about compelled speech this is about a guy in a job where he's supposed to teach teach among other things grammar to Children yeah but here's argument hang on John this is very good hang on but his argument isn't your argument you very eloquently explained an agenda that I think is is in I yeah that's not his argument though his argument is I'm religious and I'm a Christian and I don't have to do this and I'm like well hang on a second show show some show show some tolerance I'm not speaking for Eno I'm not speaking for Eno but I understand what he's doing in that if I can explain what he's doing there you see what he's actually doing is trying to tie this to a constitutional principle because there is a constitutional right to practice your religion now I'm not in any way decrying the possibility or the likelihood that Enoch does tie this issue in very strongly you know I mean I've heard these mother and other members talking about the biblical you know um references to men and women I don't need that stuff but okay if you know if that's the way he see it then that's fine to me it turns out the same way he's fighting for essentially the same principle that you know we live in a in a country which we live in a world for which for Millennia for for eons there has been Min wom and these people are trying to tell us now that's all has now we either agree with them on this and then we go on to their next maneuver whatever that might be I could talk to you about what some of those things might be in the future I have a couple of ideas rich but but don't let me I don't want to no it sounds like it sounds like there's a book in you but let let's stay with this for a minute it sounds like there's a book forth coming let's stay with this for a moment can I can I just come back in if you don't mind for a minute I I yeah I I I do think you know uh if yeah I pick up vibes from people around the place I haven't been in Ireland for the last month or so but I am still picking up stuff but even I'm there a long time I've been there a long time and I have been picking up Vibes on this and and there are Vibes about Enoch that you know he's humorless and he's you know he's he's kind of paced and all that that's you know I I I think you know if you spent 400 Days in in prison you're going to be pretty po-faced about it you know I would I I mean I I don't know if people understand what it is the I I was only there for like 45 minutes but I was in jail though you know that I did time you know but it's something Richie about there a fundamental existential T when you were led by gu policemen or or or prison guards into a room and the door is closed CL behind you and you hear the key turn in the lock you know existentially that's a moment that none of us would want to go through particularly when we have done nothing wrong and Enoch B far from doing anything wrong has done everything so right in my view now you could argue about tactic than you have I I don't agree with you he is making the point that he was employed to do a job he has been paid he is you know he the the judges have not dealt with him fairly they haven't they haven't they're ignoring the point he's making and the point he's making about his religious beliefs is very very important you know it's not the point I would make if I was in his situation no but let me come back be be fair to me John be fair to me let me come back on that the the judges are saying regardless the judges are basically saying they don't care who's right or who's wrong they're saying the school your employer has a right to to to put before you a code of conduct and the school is entitled to expect you to do as they wish and if you don't like that well go and find employment somewhere else in a faith school or whatever Richie Richie like you know okay okay supposing you have a a shop butter shop right and you have a nice tiles White Tiles right around the walls and the seing is white and you white tiles on the floor and imagine somebody comes into you tomorrow morning you're walking away there and you're saying he he's an offici is a f re and he it shows you a badge I'm from the Department of whatever Justice or truth yeah truth speak and he says from now on you know VI is black how many black tiles you have there Richie if you say anything other than that in the future you will be prosecuted you will be put in jail do you understand yes I get it see I get it but the school is saying to him and they're saying to other teachers whatever your own personal opinions might be we're asking you to be a bit tolerant so if pupil a says my asking them that's they're not but that's what they're saying they're clearly saying Toler tolerance is a choice I can choose to be tolerant they're telling him they're I'm compelling him to do this and they are using the full weight of the law of the Lambs they're invoking and weaponizing it against them because he says no I cannot do that but again the judges hang on John again the judges disagree the judges say look the issue here is he was dis no no I know I know look I know I I I I can hear the irony in in my own voice even even when I say that but look they're they're they're saying look you've been fired on full pay pending a hearing into whether the dismissal was righteous or wrongful in the meantime stayed the bloody hell away from the school and he's refusing to do that and as a a former professor of law at gway University a guy called Tom omali who sounded like a reasonable old legal uh specialist legal mind he said what else is the court system what else are they to do when they say to the guy you've been fired there is a process I will tell you Richie what is possible one day in our country is for a a person of stature such as a judge to sit on his bench and say something sensible wouldn't that be a great day Richie yeah just one one or two sensible sentences instead of the gibberish that these guys are spouting now on a daily basis these guys are rotten to the core Richie look at you mentioned the case that we took quite clearly the case was valid 100% yeah you know it took it took 13 judges 30 hours 10 or 12 hearings two and a half years for them to tell us we had no case they were filibustering these guys have no credibility the last people person on Earth in Ireland I don't I know one judge in Ireland that I would trust and that I won't say his name because I don't want to embarrass him he wouldn't want me to mention his name but everybody knows but a lot of people will know who I'm talking about I would like that judge or other judges to sit on a bench and say this is that this is deadly stuff this is destroying children it's quite obvious there is a widespread opinion now among experts that this is the deadly deadly business we must s what Enoch bark is doing maybe off point in the context of what we're I'm addressing my point here it's good I hear you he is he is blowing a whistle here he is blowing a whistle in his own way and that is something we should listen to because I think the consequences of not doing so will be catastrophic for hundreds and thousands of people I hear what you're saying because if you don't take it on this compulsion that you must go along with the fantasy that the boy is new a girl that if you if you go along with that it makes it easier for the puberty blockers and the surgery with the breasts being removed and the penis being removed I get it 100% I get it I'm just putting to you what the Irish so-called media is saying others are saying I know what they're all saying but there to be honest with you I've watched all these guys now for the last four years in the most appalling period in my life in Ireland and they have behaved shamefully disgracefully in their silence in their evasion in their avoidance of of doing what their fathers would have done which is to stand up and say in the name of God will you stop it yeah and it's happening right across the continent of Europe and elsewhere in lockstep at the same time demoralization Richie that's what it is fundamentally it's nothing to do with you know do you think Richie that the people orchestrating this give two thoughts for any child or teenager who might be confused about his or her sex sexuality and wants to help that young child they couldn't give a dam in the same way that and
