number 20 so this is a big game um especially in the early stages of college football so I'm really excited about this game so um I hope you guys are too um you know Notre D you know has a storyed history Texas DM playing in the SEC um they're a a formidable program uh you know ranking in at number 20 is no slouch uh in itself so um again like I said I'm I'm really excited you know for this game to be covering this game so um been following Notre Dame years man I go back all the way to the 70s so um but you I hope you guys really are excited so um to see this game too so uh before I do program that you know what you definitely have to respect and um it's it's um definitely going to be a good game now there's a lot of games that um were played today because today is the first official week of college football football that that's another reason why I'm so excited because you know anyone knows me knows you know I'm a college football junkie man so um and I got to get it in so you know so um and you know some really good games and some lackluster I mean Clemson come on man what's going down there going on down there dbo I mean most of us know what's going on you don't want to um enter the transfer Porter I mean and that's that's the way of doing business now man these kids know that and you're taking your program and you're putting it down into um uh the lower depths in ter well I don't want to say lower depths but it's headed that way man um and it's it's not looking good man and recruits see that and you know what's gonna end up happening they're not basketball Iowa putting 40 points on the board Iowa right so um but again I'm I didn't know Texas won that much 52 to nothing yeah Texas aan just got killed by Ohio State and next week they come to us so it's going to be interesting so I'm trying to find where I can for those of you who want to listen to us and watch the game it's actually on ESP I'm sorry ABC sorry I say ESPN ABC so um um it's not yeah I guess because it's not on well I'm intrigued with Notre Dame because of Riley Leonard I want to see what he's um yeah g to do and then he's going up against his former coach and um Elco you know over there at Texas A&M so you know Elco knows his his former quarterback so that's that's the thing that's going to really intrigue me all right I got it I got CBS Sports so I'm going to go ahead and share CBS Sports um it gives me a little preview along with it too so um and I'm going to get into the chat in a second let me know if you can see it Pat Uh yeah okay good all right so we this draft you got Drew Aller you got cam Ward you got uh shador Sanders you got the boy from uh that went to Oregon from uh Oklahoma oh yeah Gabriel yeah um and Brian uh Bryant Rockwell yes we're doing a live watch along so you know we'll we'll be covering the whole game so you know you can listen in with us while you watching the game on TV so you know we just can't show the game for um um legal purposes um YouTube doesn't allow that so you know hey they will take your channel away you know so um every year it it's generational with with quarterbacks for the most part you know and every time they say it's generational you know they're you'll have one or two who are quote unquote gener ational but you know they're just good quarterbacks in my eyes so you know you know generational quarterbacks only come once every blue moon like a John Elway or Andrew Luck or pton Manning I won't even consider generational you know they just put a a very good nucleus around them but generational quarterbacks like Dan Marino when he came out he was like something you ain't never seen John Elway was something you ain't never seen Kevin I gotta go check out the film on him because I'm really not high on them on him so oh who um Carson Beck oh he is trash bro well we'll see Bryant you know I mean because if if Notre Dam's defense really steps up the par which I think they will it's going to be it's going to be interesting what's peace on Kevin thanks for Tappen in you know so you know but yeah you you're right about the generational quarterbacks back you know so they they come one in a blue moon man you know I mean now if you want to say generational quarterback draft that's also that's also far and few so yeah these people act like these dudes just grew on trees it's not like that most of these guys are set up Brian I'm gonna say this Notre Dame is used to hostile environments I mean they play in the big house in front of Michigan they play USC every year now even out in California so they're used to aoud environment they know how to adjust but I mean don't get me wrong Texas A&M that environment is very is very rockus um I've heard the stadium really gets rocking so you know you know and and that's what you want in a college environment especially like that so um you know so but um not D is is well tested for it so now quarterback that's a different story because who in the ACC nobody in the ACC plays in front of a 100,000 seat stadium is there anybody you know a Pat in the ACC that plays in a 100,000 SE Stadium yeah ACC yeah I don't s Florida State doesn't Miami doesn't they play the NFL stadium Clemson doesn't those are the bigger stadiums North Carolina doesn't Carolina doesn't Virginia Tech doesn't yeah now Virginia Tech stadium that that's rocket yeah and you know and I still don't think they get up to 100,000 no no no they don't so um but yeah you know notra Dame as a whole they're used to it the environments like that so you know so um C Street is annoying yeah a lot of people say say that but you know what what you want to do is take him for what he is he's just trying to put on a show for people and in a sense he's trying to be politically correct so the network doesn't get you know black balled in a sense with certain things so and you know he he's trying to be he's trying to be partial you know but you know people have to understand he played that old Ohio State so he is very partial to Ohio State but he's also very critical of Ohio State highly critical so I guess that's because you know that's his school so but I get it you know a lot of commentators are annoying when you really break it down and you think about it so I mean they're doing a little pregame so um like I said I'm I'm excited I'm intrigued and I'm ready for this game so um let me see something Edward I still have my Ruckers went up from the other day so I was surprised by Vanderbilt I'm not gonna lie to you I was Vanderbilt surprised me too like man now I thought they were because at first when they jumped out on on V I was like oh wow you know going up 17 nothing and then VOD came back to tie it I was like okay vanderville back to be vanderville and then they went to overtime and and they won they won crazy so um it's gonna be real interesting for my boys when they go down there but um um it do we have a new one so um in terms of do we have a a a new I don't want to say a new one but is is is vanderbel going to be a little bit are they goingon to be better I mean that that's really what I'm trying to find out are they going to be better this year they you know are they going to be in the in the in the do drums again because you know playing in the SEC you definitely get you you definitely get your not let going up against his former head coach rattle him um you know and but you know head coach is going to definitely he's been tested he knows what to do um defensively I think they're going to be fundamentally sound I want to see if they're going to be an elite defense you know and um they do have some skilled players over there so um where's my Bible at oh there it is this my college football has a strong arm no he has a strong he has more than enough arm strength he can make every throw on the field bro cuz Brady's arm wasn't like that but he was just smart and that kid just has a a a game is what does that so you know you you got to pay attention to that see what they do see what Elco and his coaching staff does as the game goes along and then you know now that you know you've had the first series you want to start to see as the game goes along what type of adjustments you know will they do will um Texas A&M say yo let's test them out let's see if we can really you know run the rock on them and wear them down as the game goes along so so um don't give me the tack on stats you know in reference to this [Music] so uh but let me see let me see any updates with everything going forward college football let's see real quick ODU is up over South Carolina 196 16 in the four quarter seven a little under eight minutes um C is up over UC Davis 3113 Virginia is leading Richmond 20 to7 but the game is delayed Mississippi state is up 357 over Eastern Kentucky let's see Alabama's leading Western Kentucky 21 nothing in the first quarter never doubt Baylor winning 28 nothing in the
