all right what is up Utah fans this is Joseph back with the Utah youths football digest I am out here in beautiful sunny Los Angeles I'm on vacation but you know how this goes um Utah gets a commitment while I'm on vacation we got to make a video so very exciting stuff Caleb loner um from Baylor has committed to Utah so Caleb loner is a basketball player from Baylor committing to Utah he was originally committed to Utah and flipped to BYU and then so he was with Utah flipped to BYU and then winds up going to Baylor and this is all for basketball just so you guys are aware so this is a basketball player right as of you know earlier today he was a basketball player for Baylor and is now switching to play football for Utah now the rumor is he could be playing football for Utah and then just switching um or he's playing football for Utah and could be playing basketball as well no guarantee whether or not he's playing basketball but they both both options are open there's no guarantee of whether he will or will not be playing basketball for Utah so Caleb loner super exciting um going to be pretty raw right going to be a pretty raw Prospect a guy that um has been playing college basketball I'd look at his athleticism as if he's a a college upper classman but I'd look at his football ability just being real as if he's a freshman coming in right as if he's a freshman coming in just right out of high school just because he's going to need time to develop and get into the program he's going to be playing tight end which is pretty cool you know if there's any program to do this it's Utah right we're taking a really raw prospect that it's going to need a lot of uh devotion in the co coaching and and molding to get him to where he needs to be to be a college football player but if there's any coaching staff in any position to do it it's Utah it's tight end you know who kind of reminds me of a little bit right is Thomas YZ mean a guy that was a really good athlete um and he you know hadn't really played football before I think uh the the good news is with Caleb loner is he has football experience so he's probably played football in high school uh he's just switching over from basketball so super exciting prospect and I'm excited to dive in and get to know the guy more um sorry it's not as professional of a setup as it was but I don't want to miss making a video for you guys so make sure you guys smash the like button and uh comment what do you guys think of Caleb loner I want to hear your thoughts any extra details you have that I haven't added in yet feel free to drop those down below and subscribe to the channel uh if you guys love Utah UD football content we don't usually do videos on the phone like this usually it's a little nicer of a setup you can check out the other videos but um I'm glad to keep bringing you guys content I am out of here and go Utes quick correction I just looked he actually did not play football in high school so this is going to be a completely it's the Thomas Yas Meine comparison is completely accurate he'll probably know a little more about football I don't know though I mean Rugby's pretty dang close to football right like not it's not the same sport but it's pretty close like you gain a lot of skills you know for football in rugby but anyway just a quick correction uh he has he did not play football in high school hopefully he's played football at some point in his life but uh there's going to be a raw toolsy guy a lot of work to do but again youahs the staff to do it at this position if you if you want high high chances of a guy succeeding at tight end in college football has no experience and just has a ton of tools send them to Utah that's the place to go I'm out of here go UT
