Getting ready for 130km damaging winds Melbourne Down Under.

it's 2:00 in the morning weather warning 130 kilm winds which is damaging I pull the sofa in front of the back window if the window starts to flex a lot I'll throw in the pillows behind the sofa and the window help it out and I'll put all my kitchen chairs on top of each other to help out this part of the window this is not a problem it's a narrow one so it should withstand the damaging winds I got my chainsaw ready and all the batteries are being charged so fully charg batteries already but I'm charging more just in case not only that if I need it maybe my neighbors need it I'll also get the s o ready just in case we need more than one the safety gear ready as well and you can hear the wind I place the rubbish bins against the wall side by side so they don't fly you know three of them together might have a chance now it's just the waiting game and with the wind the wind comes in in bursts and the bursts are getting shorter we're not accustomed to strong winds over here the last one was 2021 so few years ago all we can do is prepare the best we can you know this is where I think about my American friends you know most of them got sellers or basements and would be nice but we are down under already we don't need basements how far more down can we go
