pep congratulations West Ham made it competitive especially in the second half but uh what was it about the way the team handled the match that that pleased you the most we play really good uh W ham is uh always have the sense that danger is there uh when they can run a little bit or P cont with uh with Kudos Mo and Antonio so they are able to run 40 met the sense of of dangers is always they never is over uh but except the first youu three minutes as normal so we we take we play really really good it was an unfortunate goal against but uh yeah the second half was leing more open after when Rico go more inside and more control the game we control it better and the performance against was really good I had the feeling that every time we are very better so now officially the precison is over with one title and three games nine points no it's now it's officially over we now after the national break is started like every three days three days three days so when we play one game a week is still preseason so it happened and and happy for all the players of course earling Holland you mentioned this season that he is not feeling any nles he's very well physically so how different do you see him uh considering his preparation especially in the preseason in this extended preseason uh with this huge B he has when no have nigles is not a player so but U yeah from the beginning so it's unbelievable I say you know the second goal and uh even the first you know in front of the goal is uh is something is something unique so yeah but now like I said I start every three days and of course then with this mindset that now he has everything he can do so the numbers is and you know the the shortage of the numbers the games have played and the goals have scored so two goals three goal two goal three goals so it's and yeah it's incredible belove not just for what he does on the beitch and I think this is so important for him yeah you've developed a lot of players throughout your career especially making them see uh different roles on the pitch with Holland he's playing outstanding football he's very much a proper Striker so how is the process of developing him no I cannot I think any manager can teach him from the go toling it just to to let him feel what we want to do all together and today scor three goals but with the ball he didn't lose one ball contact he didn't lose one ball he gave an extra passes he helped us to keep the ball and and this is amazing so I think today was one of the games have played the best being involved in all in all the situations and and yeah really pleased so so this is kind of The Next Step that you that you expect from him this season for him to be more involved in the game as a whole yeah it's question of time question of time when you see the games analyze the games and see what we want to try to do and at the end he understand because so a smart guy and and at the end what listen what do we want to score goals that is the most important thing but apart of that I think for him you know is being involved in you know sometimes when I'm free I can drop I can control the ball for example in the first half it was an action that one two with Rico Rico Miss missed that the first touch the first control the first pass was excellent so this is what we wanton before the match you were talking about uh patterns that take some time for you to identify uh about these patterns what did you see today that that pleased you and and especially considering that you made just one change in your starting 11 does that help you at this this point of the season to identify this patterns yeah a little bit when the players are playing regularly and of course a long way that is not going to happen now start every three days now everybody will be involved and hopefully hopefully he can be focused in the team of course the national team a little bit but the team and and everybody can come back fit good luck thank you thank you Hulen you had a really good start a very positive second half considering all this the third goal was especially frustrating from Manchester City yes was a frustration for us because as you said we start very very well the match we don't score um in the first time that they had no no no was not a chance was a a a gift for our side for them and they of for of course they don't forgive this kind of of give it's very difficult to play against this kind of team despite you you are very very close of the Perfection if you are not you consider these goals is more difficult after this we react we we show character personality and it's true that we suffer in the first half they have they has clear chance to score the the second goal too but again we we finalized well the the first half and the second half has been so B different I think that we we did a a good performance we we had the ball we we were calm we we make a long possession we damag then we have chance but we didn't score so and then against the in the in the in one moment they they they close the match um and they don't allow us to to to be close of the of the drought despite I think in my opinion that the second half we deserve yeah I know city has a lot of players who can hurt opponents but specifically on defending earling Holland what do you think you could have done differently in those three situations no I have seen the match again but I think the first and the third goal in my opinion we can do much better but uh and that's why he's one of the best players around the world he doesn't forgive this kind of of chance uh and sometimes this is the he makes the difference U when you play against this kind of of players and teams Yeah you mentioned the the the ball that you you gave away at times in the first half specifically uh how do you think you address that cuz I saw you were very frustrated with with this specific yeah we have to to to keep going working a lot to keep with the good things that we did and to overcome the other thing that we have to improve for sure H this is our work and it's true that we today we compete against one of the best team around the wall and we were very very close to to to to take any POs to get any positive thing that's why I prefer to keep the good things I'm for sure to uh to work hard to overcome and to do better and better in the future yeah talking about these positives especially on the second half do you think uh the attitude of the team was was one of the the most important things especially considering that it's hard sometimes when you're behind Manchester City they can dominate the game they can dominate possession and you were able to to counterbalance that yes we in the half we change a little bit the same players but uh it's true that you say the the same players H show other face is it's true that we change a little little DET but after the football is there for them and and they they show personality quality we we we have been able to to have a long possession against this kind of team is very important um that's why a little bit the frustration is here because we we were very very close and it's not easy to be very close to to get any positive thing against this kind of team and just a quick uh update on Alonso ARA he has one problem in the in the half in his back that's why he we change thank you hen thank you another match ball another hattrick for earling Harland back-to-back Hatt tricks in the Premier League and we're only three rounds in Manchester City's perfect start to the season continues with the 3-1 win at West Ham United wat Stewart Pier was so good for you about City this afternoon the way they wrestled momentum back from West Ham West Ham started the game quite well let's not forget that first 5 10 minutes they done quite well got on the front foot tried to put City on the back foot they wrestled momentum back and then they dominated the game in that first half the first half they they were incredible the the way they finished their chances and the composure the team have in the opposition's Box West Ham had a chance late on and myself off and owing looked at each other and there was Panic trying to get a finish away such was trying to get it out his feet couldn't do so every time Manchester City get the ball in the opposition's boxs there's no Panic everyone's nice and composed and they work even if it's an extra pass to create the finishing opportunity which we saw when harand come inside and unloaded the second shot yeah and your report C on the 90 that's just how Man City play it's just what they do every time and I think I mean sure made a really good point when you got you know Bernardo Sila and Kevin De bruyne and ering Harland and Edis all these types of guys they're just they're too good the one thing I would say is when you give ER H that type of space he's going to hurt you you know so at some point either you mark him or you get tight or you try and be physical but with the space that he had to run into on the first one the second one he's allowed to get onto his left and then the third one you know he kind of runs in behind I know he's he's he's a problem cuz physically he's big and strong and he's quick but you have to try and make it a little bit more difficult because this guy is just he's just a machine he really is and if de BR is playing the balls in Bernardo then you're going to struggle yeah absolutely I want to talk about the first half uh because the first and the second we briefly touched on were a little bit different for City they had so many chances uh hit the woodwork there were chances there was a chance for greish de braer had an opportunity he in fact hit the woodwork as well two one at halim it could have been more yeah it probably should have been more because of the chances that they did create to be fair they were lucky to B especially you know ariol made one brilliant save then hit the post on another and the problem is they just get so many bodies forward they make it really difficult I think for West Ham or any club to defend because there's not enough Defenders there there's about seven eight guys in the box and I just think as a Defender you're probably thinking where are these guys coming from you know just put so much pressure on the team yeah they don't need any help and yet that's what West Ham gave them that there was a turnover from Silva um who you mentioned was once again so brilliant today that led to the opening opportunity Holland with the uh opening goal goal talk us through this here in the Midfield well he's had a nibble at the ball first off and then he's gone after the ball again and got the ball back and the wait a pass after he does that slides his teammate in Holland starts to read there might be a turnover and he's on his way as uh as Owen mentioned earlier the West Ham Center offs are split to play and then you're in big trouble if you give it away what about pakar though losing the ball should he how how could he have done better yeah but he's a Brazilian that's how he plays you know he he kind gets his he he takes risk that's how he plays the problem is Bernardo Silva he he knew exactly what was going to happen Shu made a great point he pressed in the first one won that and then he did it again pet thought you're not going to get off me again and Bernardo Silva did and the problem is when you leave a big gap like that for harand to run into he just cruises into it and the Finish he opens his body was beautiful so it was an on goal to restore parity but that didn't last long because Harland again with the Finish after all those chances we mentioned he showed them how the finish could be pulled off look at the composure of of the city players composure composure composure composure and then the Finish there's no Panic in any of their play they they would weren't trying to get the ball out their feet and smash it against the opposition's defense you know greish has started it then it's a chain of events West Ham Defenders are getting there too late at that stage and then the Finish is fantastic touch inside bang goalkeeper can't react so is the criticism then that they should have closing down sooner no they should just be allowed more players because there I mean they got seven guys in the Box offensively I mean you're not going to have seven eight Defenders really in your on box and I just think when they overload you like that it just it just makes it so hard the only criticism I'd say is Emerson's worried about dku but actually he should be more worried about Harland take away the left foot of Harland let the ball go to dku and if he scores he crosses it he does I think you got to find a way to take away Harland de BR they're the guys that hurt you the most let's look at the go that seals his hattrick it came pretty late on in the second half the spell of opportunity of control for West Ham but it was Manchester City that got the goal puts the gloss on the score line as well great run from him great vision what more can you tell us about it well clever look he's he's way offside at this moment in time he sees I don't have to get onside just yet the ball's not ready to come then he gets onside briefly and then he's gone and once he goes he transfers all the pressure to the goalkeeper so the goalkeeper instead of the forward game through thinking to himself I've got to score I've got to score Panic he doesn't he goes okay I'm in full control of this and the goalkeepers got the pressure transferred to him and it's a little dink it looks easy but it's not those numbers are just ridiculous eight Premier League hattricks in 69 games played that is so far and away from some legendary names J you know that they're the legends of our game League best ever Sergio Alie that is the best of the best and we're talking 12 hat-tricks in 275 in Ser eight hat tricks in 69 games I mean it's not we've never ever seen anyone not even Messi Ronaldo were putting up these numbers it's truly astonishing as a digit fell off the games tally it's at 169 there's something Happ there we we lost a digit of some description it's incredible as ow said they're the legends of our game all of those names on there and one is creating Legend absolutely a story in the making the latest chapter today last week well ering congratulations on the win um it is a 3-1 victory in the end but was it more nervy at times than it had to be given how much you dominated the match I think first half we we dominated we could have scored several goals uh second half they they had the ball more and they had more chances uh but I don't care in the end we win and that's the most important thing nice summary of it I mean it was a dominant start to the match youve course scored the opener and then they find themselves back in the game through an on goal but if there is one man who City can rely on it is yourself look three goals today back-to-back hattrick seven goals in just three matches how do you assess your start to the season it's been quite good nine points and seven goals so cannot complain what's your favorite of the three goals uh like all three uh but the second one why because it's a great goal yeah they were all great goals to be honest um I wonder after scoring that hattick last weekend um when you were on two goals today would you have been disappointed if you had ended the match with just two you know for yourself is it about hitting those Heights hat tricks regular on a regular basis no it's about winning games and uh that's what we did today as well so nine points out of three games is a is a great start and um that's my focus and just looking at the collective you mentioned it there is three wins from three um especially after Arsenal drop points your two points clear now um how please you with the start of the Season already yeah season is good uh but don't forget there's 35 games left so uh last thing I'm going to focus about is anyone else it's about taking game by game and to getting three points and to um don't think too much because that's no good thing for the brain enjoy the win thank you match ball for earling Highland truth is his teammates are sick of writing on these match the proof how good is that who wrote that who we know we don't know yet but they might write it again this week we might find think that's Pep's handwriting I highly doubt would never say that absolutely loving it only Holland just saying it's okay he also talked about the fact as we mentioned that West Ham had a great spell in the second half he was asked about it he said I don't care no I think there was a bit of tongue and cheek there potentially you know he's he's only a young man but he's got a solid family behind him you know Alfie was who I played with and managed you know that they'll keep him level and he's bright enough as well as a player you know he's he's so sort of one track minded you know about being as professional as he can and scoring goals and creating stats he's got the world at his feet yeah absolutely his dad was talking about in the offse the fact that he was doing simple things like chopping wood will he's come back and you can see it he's absolutely ready to chop up defenses he is chopping everybody up I think it was interesting he said at the end he said don't overthink it too much not good for the brain and it's he just he does everything looks so simple for him you know he just makes it look very simple and uh it is it's amazing to watch him work at his [Music] craft Manchester City through 31 winners against West Ham at the London Stadium let's take a look at the difference between the two sides in terms of the numbers Manchester City with 23 shots eight of them on target an XG of just over three 57 touches in the the West Ham penalty area they made 257 passes in the final third they had 70% of The Possession and as much Jamie as as we were saying that West Ham had a had a good good game they created opportunities they looked as though they were they were on the front foot Manchester City absolutely dominant in that game and they have someone like erling harand who can convert those chances as well yeah he's the icing on the cake I mean if you do look at moments in games you think about cudas when he goes through hits the the post and crossbar 22 might have been a completely different complexion on the game and West Ham the Ascend in the ascendancy but when you've got someone like Harland he just takes the stress out of every situation that third goal was all important he way he just can't arm Med himself finished it with a plum it was just a really important goal for them and it just just took the stuffing out of what West Ham were trying to do but right now it's been a great start for him maximum points pep guarda will be delighted and when you've got a player like Harland in the form that he's in he just gives you such a chance every single game because as I say I've never seen him look better and more confident I think it's his um we talk about goal scoring and a numbers are staggering absolutely amazing but it's his movement in in the box so when Rono Silva gets the ball earlier on and plays him through as as a Defender you've only got a split second to react and that's what the difference is his movement is so great and he's finishing as well the second one when he goes in is in around in the Box Jamie talked half timee about the defender should have shown him onto his right foot but it's the speed in which he does it what makes it so difficult and then the third one when it goes through we'll talk about it a little bit later it's just just that confidence that's the sort of goal we saw when he was at Dortmund they played a bit of you know uh counterattacking football at times he would have that space to bend his run as as a as a Defender when when you're watching him there You' always tell you to keep your head on the swivel but he's so smart the way he gets himself on side and once you get into a race with him it's all over because he's that he's that quick is how well first of all how quick he is but also how hard it is you said Keep Your Head on a swivel but just to to keep awareness of where he is because of that Conant but that's why teams play in a low block because that is what Harland was known for running in behind and don't forget if you're facing the play this way and you're a Defender he's if he's already on a half turn and bending his run and makes run be you've got to turn while he's going forward and cuz his acceleration and his pace is so good and it's finishing that's why teams don't go and play uh press Man City really high you know I I read something this week that Pep Guardiola said and and we we we look at Premier League players and you look at Harland and we think well he might be the finished article what actually can he do to improve but Pep's been talking this week about he's been doing his extra training he's been working on his touch working on his finishing and you can see that it's actually coming to fruition because the harder you work the lucky you get the you get that confidence repetition every single day you talk about Sportsmen that are at their best it's when they practice and practice makes perfect practice makes perfect permanent all young players that are watching Harlem thinking oh yeah but he gets that pass but it's not this necessary the pass that's perfect it's his first touch that enables him then to do to do what he does with his second touch and that's why I feel that there is an such a amount of confidence right now that he is really thriving in in in a great moment and as I say last year of course he got goals but they didn't feel that they were coming as easier as what they are now he's got that balance and Poise and he's he feels like he's gliding around the pitch it be I can't wait to because we talk about moments in in in your career and and when you feel good and being in the sweet spot but right now it really looks like he's at that moment I heard one of the the gym LS in the Olympics talking about the fact they put in all the hard work to make it look effortless when they eventually go out and it feels as though that's what erling Harland is is doing for Manchester City and the team as as a whole but just to have him working in the way that he does Jamie said earlier on I think at half time we referred to his first two goals as as Beauty and the Beast so let's look at the let's look at the beauty first of all and and take a look at at har working in this one yeah well we we talk about the the movement anticipation sort of being under the front foot anticipating a mistake and then he's gone it's one touch and then it's a a cool finish but what makes it so great is how quick he's able to do that is he the Defenders there not being able to set one touch and then it opens up his his body I mean it's just fantastic obviously l a brilliant Ball by Bernardo Silva but it's the way he sort of moves around the ball to get it on his left foot I don't know if we can just take that back a little bit there in terms of his his movement as soon as the ball comes through just look at his his running pattern he runs around the ball to get it on his favored foot and that opens up the goal and it's just a delicate finish and it's just brilliant and we saw that that perfect ball from from Bernardo Silva as we see so often Jamie I know you love him as a as a player but how rewarding for him to know that it's erling harand be on the I just think this guy it just keep your eye on him he doesn't he is one of those players that are just so unsung you know of course you need to lead an actor but you need the supporting car someone that's going to do the extra bit for you and that's exactly what he does because he will do he's a beautiful player on the ball but he will also go and do the rest of it look he's sniffing round patar there again he goes and presses him right now I've got the ball now I just take that back because on once he wins it like you're looking at it now he's got a split second to slide that ball between the lines Haren now has already assess the situation he knows that there's a chance if he gets it onto that beautiful left foot of his he can give me the ball but if he takes two three touches that chance is gone you can see mavra Panos is already going to come in by that time kilman comes in that space has gone but look how quickly he gets his head up and he passes it away bam straight away it kills the two center backs it gives Harland all the time in the world that he needs and that's why he is such an important player for this Manchester City side because he's he's he gives so much to the team he runs he chases but he's also got the Finesse and the passing ability of you know one of the best players in the world a dream he has the the Finesse the passing ability the work rate the movement and also Micah he has the the strength and that's what we saw in the in the second goal which Jamie is I think is why you were saying it was it was Beauty and the Beast one was about control and accuracy the other one was was about power yeah I mean M because you mentioned your halftime how pleased you were with there he is there we'll highlight him I think Rico Lewis because of his role today especially in that first half you yeah just just in terms of they've had Kyle Walker and Kyle Walker sort of it comes inside and sort of go with three at the back with Rico Lewis he more goes into a Center position and starts and and gets involved on on the attacks and it's just the waight of pass being in there and some people might think that's really simple but you have to be in that position his his feet are so quick lovely weight of ball and then it's a tremendous finish from what did you call it the Beast the Beast and I know he's ready to talk to us and I can't wait to hear what he thinks about his He Is We we pause our analysis of erling Holland's three goals by talking to the man himself erling Holland joins us now live from the London Stadium erling it is another hattick for you but it's a first premier league away hatrick is that something that's nice to to tick off the list uh I didn't know that to be honest uh but uh I guess it's a great thing and and yeah I'm happy and uh of course three points is the most important thing so I'm happy I mean you you've said this since the the start of the Season that you feel really rested really ready you've been raring to go since the since the close season how are you feeling now that you're you're three games in and it's going so well yeah I feel good uh I feel energized uh I had a long uh vacation and I had a long preseason so uh I'm feeling good and uh and uh the the years I've been here it's it's gone really quick and uh it's been going like buam bam buam so now I got a little bit rest in my body and in my feet and I feel really good now and um ready for more yeah and it it looks that way it looks as though you're rested and and relaxed does it feel different for you on the on the pitch this season I know you said that it's the first time you've started a season pretty much painfree and feeling this good yeah and uh and uh only footballers knows how important it is to to have a break and have a long enough break and uh and yeah in the end uh you need to like calm down your body and your mind because uh it's a long season and uh it's not as easy as everyone thinks but uh I'm happy to to start again and I'm feeling fresh and uh I feel good that's the most important thing I say it was a full repertoire today big man you got the a lovely caress go the second one you bludgeoned in and then the third one the little dink what was your favorite go out of the three yeah I really like the the second goal I have to be honest I like all of them you know this but uh but the second one was uh was uh was lovely I'm not can you I'm hoping you can see these on the screen here just talk us through them yeah lovely ball from Rico and a perfect first touch and uh not a bad finish and this also a perfect ball and uh top finish why is it you like the the second one earling do you like that connection do you like that that feel of the of the power yeah and uh I like scoring these goals as well I like to shoot a bit hard sometimes as well not only easy shots so it's good to get a little bit of uh of power out of my body ER can I ask you about your movement for the third goal it was brilliant as a as a Defender it's really difficult to Mark in them situations how much do you practice that run in training or is that just something that's come naturally for you this is what I've been doing I think my my whole life exactly this movement uh you know but normally we don't meet these kind of teams normally the teams drop much more um but obviously West Ham needed a goal and the line was higher so uh so I had the chance to to go in behind uh and um for me this is a natural thing to to do this and to don't go in offside so uh so I I haven't practiced for many years exactly this pep guol was talking this week about you doing extra training extra practice repetition is that something you felt when you've come back this year you want to try and get even better yeah and uh I feel as I said I feel more refreshed I feel more energized uh so when you do that you can practice on things you want to become better on uh out of the training and uh and yeah I uh I feel good as I said and uh I want to become better uh and uh I'm happy erling you started off by saying it's it's important to get the win for the the team it's three wins from the the first three games City have looked fantastic already Arsenal dropped points earlier on today so one rivalers has already slipped up is it is it feeling look we're three games in I know I know we're three games in but we we can't they haven't slipped up yet yeah don't use these words please all right well they've dropped points already so far this this season um and and Manchester City continuing with that that 100% record purely from City's point of view it must be a very satisfying place to be and if not looking too far ahead yet yeah uh three games nine points uh this is a great start uh but again we don't uh let's not think too far here because there's a potentially 70 games left of this season U without national team so uh let's just uh breathe a bit and take game by game I've just got to ask you a very serious question have you got your have you got your tickets yet for Oasis I think I need to make a call to both of them and plan something well can you make a call for us too we're just asking for friends only only for you only for you erling really appreciate you talking to us thank you so much thank you guys thank you so much well done and look you you can understand that he he gets frustrated with those questions because every week it's you know why are you so brilliant why are Manchester City doing so well do are you so brilliant I'd really struggle with that someone asking you that that hat trick it must be getting boring but it's it's it's a hard question to answer then how do you improve isn't it it's like how are you so consistently brilliant is a is a harder question to answer are you in you know are you looking to to win the title of course they're looking to to win the title what else is he is he going to say but it's because they are consistently getting the results consistently getting the performances consistently getting the goals you touched on something about his all round game didn't you Jamie and you thought it was a lot better I think because harand didn't touch the ball so much every time he loses it we're criticizing him for that and he doesn't get involved but I think he's just went go on you think it's because we almost want to because he's pick pick holes in something because we because of his goals and how many he scores we're looking okay well might if he added that as well is that maybe well well obviously when he's getting compared to to the Great and you know he was goal scoring record if you look at the likes of Messi and and and Ronaldo obviously technically was very good they not only scored goals but they assisted goals as well I think with Harland is different is a is just a number nine I the only criticism I had of him last year was could he use his body a little bit more some sometimes the ball would go into him and it bounce off him too easy um but that's the only really negative I seen is game and this season he started off so so well do you know what I really like though and I'm I'm a little bit old school with things like this where it sounds so basic but even he wants to get better even he wants to because the easy thing now in a modern day in an era where you know you after training do you actually want to go and do some extras to make yourself better and go and practice and master your craft because I hear I do hear a lot of stories about players as soon as train is finished right they get off they get in the car and they go home but the only way you're really going to improve and get to that level is by doing the extras all the great Center forwards that I played with they would spend half an hour after training they get a bag of balls get a goalkeeper repetition finishing getting used to that feel of the ball hitting the back of the net it's a great feeling for all Strikers in the games as well yeah but but you can see that the practice is is paying off and pep said because it must be a dream because instead of s a play like come come and do some extras when they want to dictate it and all of a sudden that gets infectious everyone else wants to do it and young players in the academy see well if harland's doing that I'll start doing that and that's what it's about and that's what it really what it should be even at this age he wants to improve and you know the third goal and you touched on it Micah didn't it was a really important moment well yeah I just talked about the uh the movement and I'll just stop it there if you look at Harland in this position there the center half can see him first of all his body position is all wrong he can see his number and his back but if we just run this on ever so slowly the way he just manages to get himself back on side he's facing the goal and there's only going to be one winner when we talk about Man City have I just pull this for they've got players who can play them balls through this is why I probably harand thought he would get a lot more opportunities like this a lot of teams now going into the low block and once you get into a race like that terrific ball and then the confidence is booming and it's just a wonderful for finish he's absolutely brilliant I just want to I I I'm I'm I just can't get my head around this I think I'm sure that's mavra Panos here from a West H perspective when he goes and presses which is absolutely fine I don't understand why he pulls out of this challenge can you can you help me out here Michael because I there tackle what's why don't you tackle what's you doing I I just think from a defender's point of view there you know he's going with such Force he thinks if if he go for the ball he's probably going to get the man as well so he pulls out you're not allowed to tackle anymore well the way the the modern G Day games go in not if you as a manager and you saw that you'd be disappoint it is a poor decision I agree with you are you saying it's it's just it's not that you're not allowed to T it's that it's it's harder to tackle and get the timing and the and the impact right in that one I I I think because of the speed in which she's running if we just run this on slowly here he's he's running ever so quick and he's just mistimed it so he knows if he goes with the ball it could injure someone so he's decided to pull out of the tackle so he's made a mistake he's just got the timing wrong yeah okay I'll leave that with you um but that's this is a nice angle for the what you're talking about of Erland harand because he's once he sees Nunes then pick up the ball it's a good piece of play that's when he then comes alive kilman is seen him behind we saw we've seen Messi do this for many years Ronaldo it's almost like they're just they're wa they preserving their energy and then once that ball then gets gets into his a good space now just watch his like it's a slight foot pattern change but he just makes sure he gets himself on side as you say he can see maximilan kilman there so he's going to be in a perfect position to get on side if the pass can get released there holds his run and then he's off it's perfect it's perfect Center forward play and then just dinks it over the goalkeeper it's it's delightful I think again on that from a defender's point of view you you're always going to look at at the ball so by the time he he's look to see where Harland is it's just too late and even despite the fact that Manchester city is getting into the the box so much more we don't see that goal that's muscle memory as he was saying there that one is is one that's that's just in there you talked Micah about the comparison between Messi and and Ronaldo and that's the sort of breath same breath that we we're talking about erling Harland in as you said he's a he's a number nine he's an out andout number nine and so you would expect his his goal scoring figures to stand up to them but they don't just stand up to Messi and Ronaldo he's surpassing them and if he carries on like this he would reach after the same number of games as as Messi and and Ronaldo have have played or same number as Ronaldo has played on 1,5 career goals for earling harand that's the that's the projection if he carries on scoring at at this rate but if you look Messi and Ronaldo both picked up at round about this stage so that and they and they've you know they're they're pretty well regarded the only thing I I will say because I I know there a lot of people looking at and how can you compare harand to Messi and Ronaldo we're talking about purely goals this is just numbers purely numbers and goals because and and this is club and Country and the other thing we should say as well is that Norway haven't qualified for a couple of tournaments as well whereas Argentina Portugal they're sort of ever not not quite ever presence but they're they're usually there yeah I think um in terms of Messi we know what he can do in terms of goals and assists and at times play up front on the right number 10 in them positions familiar with his work yes Ronaldo as well don't forget he started off as a Winger and then he matur in sort of goal scorer number nine movement in the box but in terms of numbers especially in the Premier League as well what Harland is producing now at his age is just staggering absolutely unbelievable in there is so sharp and in terms of the numbers what what what You' shown as there there's no reason he can't surpass that because of as long as he stays injury free you always got to talk about injuries because if he plays in a team like Man City constantly creating chances for him he's going to get them opportunity to SC 263 goals in 317 games if you just think about that for a second how difficult that is to do of course he's playing in a great side that create lots of chances for him but it is staggering it's staggering and it looks like you know you figure things out as you as you get older as well looking after yourself making sure you you know you eat correct corly and and you'll prepare yourself ice baths and all these things that he speaks about regularly doing to just give himself that little bit of an edge yeah he's he's a phenomenon guy he's an an amazing player to watch and he's so different to the other two that you've mentioned and I don't think for one second we're going to compare that stars or anything like but an out and out goal scorer it's very hard you know just to think of anyone that's so as clinical and as has every single go in the bag hello and welcome to the tight clash between The Who between the Manchester City against the West Ham what will happen if Manchester City wins today against the um against whom against the western side so at the 9:30 The Clash will be started and uh Manchester city has a chances of 68% to win this game while West Ham has just 14% the game all has been played on one of the side but one draw between one losses against the uh against whom against the Aston Villa against the Brighton s sorry now what about the pregame analysis between the West Ham and the Manchester City westmer winless in the last 17 Premier League meetings with Manchester City since the 21 away win in September 2015 Manchester City have lost just one of their last 14 AV League games against West Ham and are unbeaten in the last time visit since a 2-1 loss at Upton Park in October 2014 now this is The Clash that has been we are discussing now we will fall into the what we will fall into the uh Manchester City have scored more away goals against West Ham than they have against any other opponent in the Premier League they have scored Manchester city has their records that they scored more goal as compared they has any of the other side so Manchester city are the fa for this game I hope you understand my point that Manchester city is doing what Manchester City are doing okay so Manchester City are doing what Manchester City are doing like that kind of job that uh they need to understand that what they need to do and what they not need to do so Manchester City they has to face must time have conceded at least once in each of their last nine Premier League games Premier League what Premier League games Manchester City Manchester City West American C at least one each each of their last 19 Premier League meetings as they had it with any of the side so far so they has a lot a lot a lot a lot have chances compare to their any other side West Ham have considered at least in once in each of their last 10 Premier League home games last having a longer run without clean sheet between April and December 2009 Manchester City are unbeaten hope you get my point Manchester City are unbeaten in 21 Premier League games so far in 2024 the longest run unbeaten in that calendar year so that's all from today see you in the next video till then bye-bye
