week one of the 2024 NFL season is finally here and that means DFS contest more chances to win money and fantasy alarms here to help I'm Howard bender and it's time now to take a look at those DFS bargain plays for week one listen we can't all get the big names in there we all want Tyreek hill we all want bejon Robinson but in order to get those guys you need to find some good Bargains so let's take a look at some of my favorites for week one and it starts with brace yourself Sam darnold quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings 5200 on DraftKings 6,700 on FanDuel listen only the bravest of the brave are gonna play him this week he was terrible with the Jets I understand that he saw ghosts but their offensive line was atrocious look to what darnold did when he was with San Francisco for just a short time he was solid and he was efficient he's going to get protection behind that line in Minnesota and he is an elite wide receiver in Justin Jefferson he doesn't need to throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns in order to pay off value so get some Samy darnold into your lineups at running back I love chuba hubard 5,300 on DraftKings 5600 on FanDuel head coach Dave Canales loves running the football and hub's gonna see strong volume as the lead back he's also active in the passing game as well so don't discount that the saints were middle of the pack versus the run at best last year and chuba hub's going to be able to get heavy volume and push his way through at wide receiver I love Khalil shakier 5100 on DraftKings 5,400 on FanDuel this guy is so highly undervalued it's boggling my mind he's the only wide receiver on this roster who's got a good solid rapport with Josh Allen he's got good hands great speed and his ability to add yards after the catch is strong here in Joe Brady's offense and then finally at tight end give me New England Patriots Hunter Henry 4,200 on DraftKings 4,900 on FanDuel listen there's no clear-cut wide receiver one or two even at this point we know that offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt helped David njoku emerge in a similar situation in Cleveland last year should do the same here for Hunter Henry oh and who's the quarterback how about jacobe brassett who ran this offense last year in Cleveland as well if they get near the end zone at all Hunter Henry's a great wide Target and listen again super deep bargain here he's going to enable you to get some really top plays into your lineups those are your DFS bargain plays for NFL week one DFS contests I'm Howard Bender we'll see yall in the money this year [Applause]
