hi are you tired of Netflix shows that promise a lot but deliver well not much the perfect couple is here to join the club so Netflix just dropped the perfect couple aiming to be the next White Lotus or big little lies but guess what it kind of tripped over its own feet Yes it has a stellar cast and a beautiful setting but the plot it's like a scavenger hunt with no end in sight you'll find Dakota Fanning nailing it with her campy charm while everyone else seems lost in a maze the central mystery convoluted and occasionally nonsensical but hang in there the final episode does pack a shocking punch in the end the perfect couple feels like a mix of borrowed ideas that don't quite gel together it's watchable but not memorable could it have been better absolutely so if you're looking for a show to half watch while scrolling your phone this might be it like this review hit that Thumbs Up And subscribe to Trend worlds for more snarky takes
