NEWSROOM. STARTED SAYING 2 NEWS. >> NOW, STORM TEAM 2 METEOROLOGIST JAMIE JAROSIK WITH THE MIAMI VALLEY CERTIFIED MOST ACCURATE FORECAST. >> CHECKING OUT THE GOODWILL AUTO AUCTION CAMERA IN DOWNTOWN DAYTON, LOOKING AT THE CITY AND 35 IN MAIN STREET. IT IS DRY AT IF YOU ARE HEADING OUT EARLY AND IT'S PRETTY QUIET. WE HAVE CLEAR SKY AND PRETTY LIGHT WIND IF NOT CALM WINDS, TEMPERATURES HAVE BEEN COOL. MAYBE EVEN CHILLY FEELING TO YOU AGAIN IN TOWN. IT'S 56, BUT THERE ARE OUTLYING AREAS THAT HAVE DROPPED INTO THE 40'S AND AGAIN, CALM WIND, DEW POINT STILL VERY NICE AT 50 DEGREES. SO THAT RELATIVE HUMIDITY, 80%, BUT IT FEELS REFRESHINGLY COOL OUT THERE. NOT AT ALL. STICKY. IT WILL COME BACK TODAY TO GRAHAM, LOCAL NORTHEASTERN AND CARLISLE. IT IS AN A PLUS FORECAST. ONCE AGAIN, WE'RE LOOKING AT A LOT OF SUNSHINE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES TOP OUT RIGHT AROUND 80 DEGREES. SO WHY YOU MIGHT WANT A SWEATSHIRT OUT THE DOOR THIS MORNING COMING HOME FROM SCHOOL. YOU WON'T NEED ONE. IT IS GOING TO BE PLEASANTLY WARM. WE COULD USE SOME RAIN AS WE'VE BEEN KIND OF KEEPING AN EYE HERE ON OUR DROUGHT MONITOR WHERE WE HAVE ABNORMALLY DRY CONDITIONS IN PORTIONS OF MERCER AND OUR COUNTIES AND THEN PORTIONS OF GREEN MONTGOMERY CLARK COUNTIES AND EVEN INTO CLINTON COUNTY HERE, WE DO HAVE A MODERATE DROUGHT THAT CONTINUES AND IT GETS WORSE OUT IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN OHIO WHERE WE HAVE A SEVERE DROUGHT. SO A LITTLE RAIN WOULD BE WELCOME. WE HAVE A SURPLUS ON OUR MONTHLY PRECIPITATION, BUT WE HAVE THE SIGNIFICANT DEFICIT FOR THE SEASONAL RAINFALL. WE STAND AT 8.6 8, WHICH IS ALMOST AN INCH AND A HALF BELOW NORMAL AND A YEARLY DEFICIT THAT'S CLOSING IN ON ABOUT A HALF INCH. BUT FOR SHORT TERM, ANYWAY, IT LOOKS DRY. SO WE ARE GOING TO NEED TO CONTINUE TO WATER AS WE WE DO START TO SEE RAIN. CHANCES COME UP A LITTLE BIT. BUT RIGHT NOW IT'S STILL PRETTY UNCERTAIN THAT WE'RE GOING TO ACTUALLY GET SOME AREA WIDE RAIN. SO I WOULD SAY WE'VE GOT A LONG STRETCH STILL WHERE WE'RE GOING TO NEED TO WATER. AND THE REASON WHY HIGH PRESSURE IS IN CONTROL ALL ACROSS THE REGION. WE DON'T EVEN HAVE ANY CLOUD COVER OUT THERE AND HIGH PRESSURE IS GOING TO KEEP THINGS ARE REALLY QUIET AS WILL SEE ON FUTURETRACK SUNNY CONDITIONS AT NOON AND STILL SUNNY FOR THE DRIVE HOME AT 5 OVERNIGHT WILL BE CLEAR AND QUIET AGAIN HEADING INTO FRIDAY. IT'S ANOTHER SUNNY, DRY DAY IN THE FORECAST MAY SEE A FEW THIN HIGH CLOUDS LATE, BUT FUN STILL GETS THROUGH THAT. HERE'S A LOOK AT YOUR FORECAST FOR TODAY. SUNNY, PLEASANTLY WARM WITH A HIGH OF 80 IN EAST NORTHEAST WIND 5 TO 10 OVERNIGHT LOW IS 54. IT'LL BE CLEAR AND COOL. AND THEN TOMORROW AND ANOTHER SUNNY DAY, A LITTLE BIT WARMER WITH A HIGH OF 85 WINDS. TURN IN FROM THE SOUTHEAST ON FRIDAY. SO THAT WILL HELP TO DRAW IN SOME WARMER AIR. AND IT CONTINUES TO HEAT UP OVER THE WEEKEND, GETTING UP TO 90 ON SUNDAY, PARTLY SUNNY EACH DAY NEXT WEEK. YOU THOSE SLIGHT RA
