meanwhile former chairperson of the cultural religious and linguistic Rights Commission Professor David Masa has condemned the subsequent burning of andor's church but he's also slammed the religious leaders actions at the school saying this is not how to behave I did not expect that behavior from a religious leader let alone anybody uh calling himself or herself a Christian or a religious person because there is a way in which matters or problems are solved for me it just shows the separation between the heart the mind and the logic of compassion by that I mean when a leader knowing holy well that he represents the Force for good the for Force for good is embodied in the language of Peace of friendship of Tolerance of humanity and this Force for good means that where he or she goes must embody this exemplary type of leadership where Society must see in him or her the possibilities of solving problem peacefully and such a behavior in my view encourages that problems are solved by violence as you know violence begets violence leading to what we call the cycle of violence which is precise what has happened I was really struck also by the young person who commented saying when burning the the um the Church of of Pastor Moro say we went to the police they did nothing we took the law into our own hands and I just wondered what seed are we planting in the minds of our young people to say that if the police have not intervened they can take the law into their own hands we are now creating a b Republic of our country and this is not what should be done churches ought not to be to be banned we deal with a problem not dealing with the structures because the structures have no problem it is the individual it is imoral why B the church
