Jeremy, while a lot of people are looking forward to the weekend. You're busy tracking storms tonight. Yeah, and we're going to continue to see them until around 2 a.m. The strongest and most severe storms have now exited the region, but they left a wake of destruction in their path and they even caused some events to be canceled. I want to show you some footage from party on the patio down in Wilkes, Barre canceled after a storm and everybody had to be evacuated. Take a look at that scene looks a little bit like a mob if anything trying to get out of there safely with the lightning strikes around, uh, you know, it's best to not have events when you know, thunderstorms are coming. Hopefully next Thursday, we'll have a better outcome but take a look at some of the destruction that happened in Clinton County. There were wind damage reports, flash flooding reports. The flooding reports just happened a few hours ago in Lock Haven, 2 ft of water reported on Belafonte Avenue in Lock Haven with a car stuck on East Park Street and there were wind damage reports also in Lock Haven of multiple trees and wires down, blocking both lanes traffic on Cole Brook Township. So a lot of the strongest rainfall amounts happen there in Clinton and like Cumming counties, 2.6 inches of rainfall estimated there in central Clinton County. 2.6 inches down by Beaver Springs, 1.9 inches near, uh, Duo in Laporte in Sullivan County. And just to the south of Wilkes, Barre and Nanako, nearly an inch of rainfall happened. We didn't really see that much here in Lackawanna County, but we did just see a thunderstorm roll through the region and that's why I'm inside. Lightning strikes are just too close for comfort. Anyway, flood watch in effect just for a few more minutes until midnight. A lot of the strongest amounts of rainfall have already happened. The strong storms have now moved to the south of Snyder County. Want to give you a closer look at those. This one was a doozy, a conglomeration of storms. A lot of heavy downfall, downpours and it happened for a significant long, prolonged period of time. And that's why there's such uh pronounced storm reports in central Pennsylvania as a result. I wanna show you some of the uh activity happening. Now in eastern Pennsylvania, we have this last lingering storm that just rolled through southern Lackawanna County will be in the Poconos in the next 15 to 30 minutes and it'll exit Coolbaugh township around 1145. These scattered showers and thunderstorms no longer have too many lightning strikes in them just really the one that passed through just near our backyard. But once we get past around two o'clock, we'll see them start to dwindle. Humidity is still pretty high and we'll keep it high as we go through Friday and Saturday. And that'll help to fuel storms. Once again, Saturday afternoon, there's a live look at Williams Fort which saw a lot of the brunt of these showers and the storm's current temperature. 68 degrees. We had a high today of 85 so a little cooler than it was yesterday. Of course, we hit 92 yesterday. It's the warmest temperature. We had all August temperatures. Now in the sixties and seventies, 71 for Louisburg and Danville, 72 in Sealand Grove, 64 for Pleasant Mount and 62 up in Stucka. Temperatures are nine degrees cooler than they were 24 hours ago for Mount Pocono and five degrees cooler for Scranton. This conglomeration of storms I think is over pronounced here on this model, but it'll dwindle you'll see by around 34 o'clock in the morning and then much of your day on Friday, just cloudy. Some peaks of sunshine, some isolated showers, light showers, but I don't see any storms in our forecast for Friday. So still in a good outdoor day, doing anything early Saturday morning, no problems there either. It's not until around noon that we start to see some of those isolated thunderstorms start to pop up and it's not until five that we have this line of thunderstorms really roll through a lot of the region. This one could pack a punch with uh severe weather, possible, high winds, heavy downpours, maybe some flash flooding with this as well. But that happens between five and midnight and that's why we have a weather impact in effect from three pm to midnight. The impact, of course, those storms on Saturday, you'll want to remain weather aware throughout your entire day on Saturday. So here's your seven day forecast as far as tomorrow looks like a good day to do outdoor plans. Just some light showers. Saturday nights when we're worried about maybe a weather impact as far as severe storms and then Sunday all the way through Thursday looks really good. Melissa for outdoor activities like the Wyoming County fair. And I know that you had a history. I do. Yeah. When I was younger, I went to the Wyoming County Fair when I was maybe seven or eight and I want a tractor pull. Very not, you know, usually my life. So I don't know, maybe we'll have to get out there and I'll have to reprise my role. See if I could keep up with it. Any others doing any tractor pulls. Good luck to them. Good weather Sunday all the way through Thursday. Sounds perfect. Thanks so much Jeremy.
