Value of getting playing time as a freshman it was really valuable you know coming in as a freshman and you know getting reps it's always valuable you know getting in game feel for everything goes and it's really translated to be going into my sophomore season I got a feel for things so yeah it helped a lot what's been the The toughest and most exciting part of learning Mike Denbrock’s offense toughest part of learning Mike Den Brook's offense and then what's also been the most exciting piece I want to say it nothing's been tough um I guess it's a new offense so having to learn it over is you know challenging in itself but I wouldn't say there's anything that's so tough about it the one thing I do like about his offense is that it's way more explosive we're doing more stuff with the backside and routes and stuff like that and that's kind of my field of play so I think offense is great and then you were working a little Working with the receivers this spring bit with the receivers when we were here this morning I guess is that kind of building off of what you just mentioned yeah yeah yeah um so basically I want to get some receiver work like get a foundation and receiver so I can like you know move out anytime they need me to uh or stuff like that I'm just probably be going like back and forth slot running back type of deal how's Where his game has grown since last season your game grown from maybe uh you know last season obviously we saw some explosive moments from you but where have you grown from that I would say I'm my football IQ um you know came in played as a freshman got a lot of playing time and uh that only helped my IQ you know I know things that I didn't know before and it allows me to be a a smarter football player and then how How different the running back room feels with Audric Estimé gone different does this feel now with audri G and kind of a wide open opportunity there for you um I would say it's a lot more competition you know audri was AUD I knew what he was going to do so um with him going U there's an open spot everybody's competing every day to coming in and work and we're also being respectful about nobody's hating on each other or nothing like that it's just coming day and work and I'll play off for each other ay and then for second Confidence level heading into year two year you know what's the confidence level man how do you how do you U find yourself just adjusting and continue to get confidence in the second I'm very confident you know playing behind a uh I looked up to arud uh got a lot of Knowledge from him and um our objective is just to come into this uh my sophomore season um trying to be a leader you know Audrey left some big shoes to feel and uh I want to kind of not say step into the shoes fully but you know kind of be a leader in the room and lead the young guys and also uh you know just set an example for the team uh that's what we as a running back room do um we're kind of trying to set that tone for everybody and yeah a left some big shoes to feel but we're all you know trying to feel that leadership role I wouldn't say that that just being personally from the road all of us are doing it together
