Welcome back to our decision 2024. Following that first presidential debate, it continues and tonight we are less than 30 days away. Think about that mark, less than a month away from early ballots being mailed out here in Maricopa County. And as we enter the home stretch of the election season, we want to hear from voters, including some who were undecided, heading into the debate. So did tonight's debate change anyone's mind. Let's head back up to Bram Resnick in our newsroom with our panel of voters. Take it away, Brim. Yeah, we're back with our diver diverse panel of voters who are really represent the folks who are going to decide this toss up election in our battleground state. Some are undecided, some lean left, some lean, right. Some may not lean anywhere at all. So let's just level set again here. And let's remind folks where you stand after this debate. So after uh who believes Donald Trump won this debate? Raise your hand. OK. Two. Who believes Kamala Harris won three and who believes nobody won? Trump. Trump lost. Trump lost and Harris opened the door and I would like to see more I think a lot of people would like to see more. A lot of people want to see more. OK. Who wants to see more? Raise your hand? OK. More from Harris. OK. Two hours more. OK. Let's get into kind of the visuals of, of this debate and also the uh the uh moderators of the debate. There's some, there's always criticism online social media after the debate. How do you rate the job The two moderators did? They're pros but they also didn't probe into the uh untruths from Trump pushing to get clarifications around positions as much as they might have been able to. But that's a tough job to do, you know, fact checking on the fly. It is very tough on the fly. How do you feel they did in, in pushing back on Harris or Trump? Well, I felt like they were parents trying to control little kids fighting because at some point in debate, both of the competitors kept going, trying to top off each other was to a point that the motorist had to cut that down, but they couldn't. And so they do, did it by force and, and it just went longer than we thought it would too. Uh I couldn't help take my eyes. We have something called the sound off, test and TV, turn the sound off and just watch and what you see what you take away from just watching the two faces which the cameras were on both the same time. What do you take away from some, from some of Kamala harris' mannerisms? This on the chin. I don't want to steal that with my eight year old when he sasses me. I, I, is that what it says to, to Donald Trump when she's doing that? Yeah. But I mean, I, I think it was a, it was a good move on her part because it clearly showed her disapproval of him, but it was not in a, um, berating way. So it was a good move, good move. What do you think about? You'd often smile at Donald Trump and maybe even laugh was that appropriate? Um, I think that was part of what she rehearsed trying to get him a little bit off edge and, and I think Trump's demeanor was fairly good, fairly good for this format and for how he might go off the handle. I think he held it together and even with his facials, they were, uh, pretty spot on tonight. Ok, let's revisit that question of wanting to hear more. Exactly. What do you think you'd want to hear more about if there were a second debate and it doesn't look like there will be. Um, I'm just really intrigued now, after this debate of what Kamala's Kamala's stance is on a lot of important issues that really didn't get to dive into today. And so if there's unfortunately not going to be another debate, I'm gonna have to do my own research online, like everyone else. Ok. Julian research online. You want more or? You're done? Yeah, I, I'm probably gonna go do more research, like he said, like, uh, Romeo said, um, on hers. Uh, there's still a lot, I don't know about her. Uh, I just wanna see the first female president. You do want to see the first female president? All right. Uh, we have to end with the one bit of news tonight and see if this weighs your vote. Uh, we've just learned that Taylor Swift has endorsed Kamala Harris. Ok. Will that, will you vote for Kamala Harris with, because of Taylor Swift's endorsement? Anybody?
