folks Andrew Boos here well I want to do a video on today's transactions we know Tony Jefferson just got signed and we also had uh another interesting sign that came out of nowhere International player praise oke I think am I saying that correctly interesting I don't know wide receiver played on the Ohio State football club pretty interesting story guys so lot to talk about as always you know we like to get into it bull Bros okay folks as always like And subscribe if you do enjoy the content I'm Andrew bpro and also leave a comment down below these are two really interesting signings and I really want to get your thoughts we are probably going to talk about it live tomorrow uh when we go live talking about the Chargers as well with the whole Bo Ros but again you know hey offseason's not done you know we are still getting players and really you have to credit Jim Harbaugh and Joe Ortiz for for being aggressive going out there and adding depth to this team so let's talk about the one that you know is is you know I think a little more predictable um and that's signing Tony Jefferson right and I think you know this is an interesting one to me right because Tony Jefferson is you know he was very good safety right Jefferson's productive defend Defender uh through his entire career starting 67 of 130 113 career games Cardinals Ravens we all know he did great with the Ravens 49ers Giants he totaled almost 500 tackles 351 solo nine and a half sacks 34 tackles for loss four interceptions just a very good overall safety right and um you know again he's from CH L Vista which is really interesting so you know look this is great right he didn't even play last year I'm gonna review his stats here in a second but you know the thing that I would say specifically about Tony Jefferson is he's going to be really the fourth safety my thought is and if you listen to Derwin james' interview these last couple of I think it was two days ago clearly he's going to be used in a lot of different ways I think Brandon Cy tried to use him in different ways but I think if there's a package where he's probably you know deran James is gonna be blitzing the quarterback I think Tony Jefferson will most likely come out um they'll bring in maybe two or three safeties now the other thing that you know we already know about Jesse Miner's defense and the defensive back room in general say cornerbacks they're going to be playing all different positions right so there's going to be a lot of movement around now I I do suspect Tony will be just a safety for the most part but again he adds depth and there's a lot to describe you know him in general but let's talk about his stats briefly and you know really you know kind of an interesting you know situation his last two years he really just did not do a ton uh but again I think he was you know he's obviously Hur in 2021 you know 2019 kind of struggling so these last few years he really didn't do much and didn't play last year so again his best years are most likely behind him his best year was in 2018 with the Ravens so you know you can make a lot of arguments that hey you know yada yada whatever right but look at the end of the day probably signed for a vet minimum type of contract got in got in this team cheap and you know it says something about the safety room right you you you have to ask yourself this question right is a Keem denin have stepped up you know as an undrafted free agent which I would like to see him do or uh is JT Woods going to step up we don't even know right I mean we don't know what's going to happen with either one of those guys but the reality is this he's a veteran he can come in add some depth to this uh safety room and I I look it adds it adds strength right because because really AJ Finley is most likely the third safety but you bring in Tony Jefferson you have four solid safeties and then maybe one or two in the practice squad so you know it makes sense to me I think it it's going to make you makes sense when the when when they get everything installed again we all know that you know we're not going to be seeing a whole lot here pretty shortly they're going to be breaking and then mini camp starts that's when that's when that's when it starts getting real guys right so uh excited to see you know this veteran signing you know again does he have to do everything all at once and I'll I'll leave one last thought he doesn't have to be out there you know 75 to 80% of the game he comes in for very specific plays and packages so that's great for a veteran someone with injury and you know issues and and things in the past it's perfect situations much like a bud dpri bud dpri does not have to go out there and do everything all at once uh he can be more of a support role help the young players and let the young players with the fresh legs go out there you know and and you know do do some of the work but they get they get rested up they come in they get aggressive so I like this signing I think it's a good Deb piece I thought it was going to happen a while ago uh it's kind of nice that it was you know finally done let's go to the more uh let's go to an interesting one as well too but the charger signed uh praise olou to 2K to boy I'm killing it hopefully I'll get that spelled said correctly when we go live tomorrow but we signed him right kind of an interesting one he's an international Pathways player a lot of really interesting information about him I'll just say this um again uh he was a sprinter with Ohio State University uh he's 62 205 pounds so really the size that you know the that the Chargers historically have liked in wide receivers very fast um you know running the 100 meter dash in Ohio State the Big 10 outdoor Champion just under 10.27 seconds in 2022 fast I mean I ain't never been that fast um anyways he played for the Ohio State football team uh football club team so not you know didn't get any you know time with Ohio State uh but he was born in Nigeria raised in Scotland right so you know it's part of the international Pathways program now the the interesting thing about this is is there is one free spot on the practice squad you get 16 players in the practice squad one player can be for the international Pathways what happens with CJ AO I don't know if he's GNA get released or he's gonna be on the team I have no idea I don't know if you have two people I don't if you have three people I don't I don't know if it's just one I you know because I think CJ qu signed a two-year deal so this would be his second year so would assume that you could keep him on but I don't know for sure so hopefully we have some information on that uh maybe more tomorrow so we'll do a little more digging um but again I like this pickup because it does give us an opportunity to have more depth and speed the ability to stretch the field is really the whole point of this guy right here right praise you know has that speed you know now again the question is does he have the hands you know the bottom line it's it's you know running in a straight line is one thing running a route you know catching the ball properly with your hands it's a whole another ball game right so you know again this would be very interesting you know my guess is he'll probably be on the practice squad uh but we shall see right I think I think I think there's a lot to be said about that but again he's he's a free roster spot as far as I understand it so I we'll do some more digging we'll talk more about it live but what are your
