there it's a two out double well a swing like that can help you come out of the struggle we saw the numbers coming into the ball game all he's trying to do at this point is help his team win and now it's Luis [Applause] Garcia first pitch just misses the strategy of winning a ball game when you could make that pitcher work a little more expose himself by throwing pitches that could be the key to winning perhaps later on so good job of extending this inning getting a knock with two outs to bring the number four hole hitter up late swing foul to the left [Applause] in there at the knees and the count is one and two runner at second two down next pitch is [Applause] outside swing and a ball hit out towards left center field pulls it down and he makes the catch and that'll do it Nationals leave one and now the Marlins will have a crack at things no score it's major league baseball and it's on the show back here in Miami getting the nod in this one Mitchell Parker Chris what are you looking for from him well he's been a real quality starter for his club and coming into this one what stands out for me is that right-handed hitters have really struggled batting below 200 on the year it seems that they have a hard time picking up his release point and tracking the ball into the zone so we'll see how right-handers do against him in this one here's the second basan Luis AR swings and sends a rocket to right and it's caught for the out and time now for the Marlins lineup and Chris this group has been struggling to put up runs lately well they haven't been on base a ton and even when they are they haven't been hitting very well with the runners on base so they need a guy or two to really Step Up have some quality at bats hit according to the situation and sort of break out of this I think if they do the rest of this lineup will follow Brian Del Cruz batting with one down takes a strike and now the Lefty and that's his in there at the [Applause] knees swings and misses struck him out got away with that curveball no doubt about it it passed right through the heart of the strike zone and he just couldn't get the bat on it when you strike out on one like that that's throw and he Dives back in [Applause] safely and there's a rocket into the Outfield around third he'll score and it's a one-run game well back within one as he brings home the run really good swing right there he got a pitch that he knew he could handle allowed himself to stay back just a tad bit longer and he hit the ball on the screws and now up for Washington Joey manessis doubled his first time up and a foul ball left side y one that one ripped this looks like extra bases Linker on his way to third coming home relay throw home he scores and the Nationals tie it up it's 22 well we're starting over again all tied up just a solid swing right there caught it out front and ripped it into the outfield for the base hit those always feel [Applause] great man it's second with one away so next will be the Four Hole hitter for the Nationals Luis Garcia and that one just misses a ball and no strikes messes leads off second with one gone in the inning [Applause] lined in left Center and that should be extra bases rounds third headed for the plate he scores and they have the lead three to two safely into second he's got a double seeing some good swings from him right now with consecutive extra base hits that was exactly what you're looking to do with the pitch away especially in that situation drive it into the opposite field Gap got himself two bags on a great swing of the bat now the catcher up to him hit Hebert Ruiz he's over one and [Applause] downstairs hammer and this one could be extra bases headed for the plate he scores it's 42 and into second with one away that's a double they are really feeding off each other that's five hits in a row I'll tell you man it's such a good feeling when you smoke a line drive into the Gap like that I mean sure home runs are ping but I feel like nothing makes you feel like a true professional hitter more than a bul the other way on the mound now Ryan weathers and that's a big potential run out there at second as he comes in trying to keep the deficit where it is for the infielders they got to be thinking about keeping the ball from getting by them into the Outfield any way they can one down Trey lipam digging in for the Nationals worked to walk in his first trip to the plate right side and that one handled steps on first for the out good slider inside right there batter fighting to get there just rolled over got the ground ball Eddie Eddie Rosario digging in for the Nationals one for one with a single so [Applause] far splits the plate that's strike one I know they've gotten out to an early lead but you don't want to take these opportunities for granted with two outs still lock in with a quality at bat drive in that run you may not have another Runner and scoring position the rest of this ball game two outs
