Lexus presents tennis on Sky Sports for the game changers Andy congrats does that feel like the best you felt on court all year so far because it's got to be the biggest win for you um yeah I mean I played well first ter of the year in Brisbane I felt good um first match last week was you know better um as well but I think in terms of the way that I played like the important moments in that match you know I did a good job you know I was down love 4y at the end and um I think it was 3-2 game and I also created quite a lot of chances to go up a double break as well hadn't got it and stayed tough there and played some good points and um moved well and I think dictated a lot of the a lot of the match which isn't isn't easy against him and I heard you saying from the side of the court that you knew how to play him you saying up to your team I know how to play him I know what I should be doing do you felt do you feel like that's kind of what helped you in the key moments yeah I mean it's always it's always a balance between you know you want to make sure there's enough on your ball so that he's not able to get round and use his forehand but also to you know stay in the rallies because that that's not he doesn't want that you know he wants to to play quick points and he wants to have the ball on his forehand side where he can you know take big cuts at the ball and um you know at times I was at the very beginning of the match played a bad game like changing direction a lot early in the rally and at times was doing it a little bit in the third set as well and once I got the the the balance right and you know was staying solid in the crosscourt you know backand exchange waiting to get on my own forehand I felt like I dictated a lot of the points so um yeah played played a smart match when I needed to and I thought I'd seen it all from you on court but it was a new one today there was a lot of fake laughter what was the vibe there you were saying I needed to be happier on on the court in the interview beforeand so if I'm laughing I get that's not okay if I'm shouting that's not okay if I'm flat like I was in Australia that's not okay so it's very hard for me to get the balance right I'm very different on the tennis court I'm not like I'm not a robot I'm a bit odd bit strange um but I play better when I'm like that we'll accept the fake laughed then good luck in the next one thank you
