All right, we recruited our newest roadrunners fan. Earl Earl. Uh, you know, gosh, Earl was a little sweaty out there, Ryan. It's a little warm, a little hot today, but people were prepared with the tents with good food. Lots to drink. It's important to still stay hydrated because we are not out of the woods yet. Yeah, they were having a lot of fun. Alicia, they had cornhole, they had brisket. I mean, they're, they're barbecuing out in the UTS a parking lot. I mean, it's really incredible for the game today. Now, also, it's a good reminder that it is almost fall. It's about a few weeks away. September 22nd is the first day of fall and, uh, today was warm, but in the next couple of weeks, hopefully we'll see some cooler weather move in our direction. Meantime, for Labor Day, take a look, high temperatures will be a little cooler on Monday, highs near 90 a mixture of sunshine and clouds and a high chance of rain on Monday afternoon, Monday night, scattered rain and a few thunderstorms would be possible on Labor Day. So again on Monday, that's when the weather turns a little unsettled and gets a little active here across South Texas. Today's numbers 96 from an average of 94. Today's record set back in 1954. Look at that 7080 years ago, 100 and three shows you that it can get hot in late August, early September. As a matter of fact, the hottest temperature ever recorded in San Antonio history was in 2000 in the month of September of 100 and 11 degrees. Ok. Radar a little active earlier today. This is a 12 hour loop watch. What happens out west from 11 a.m. to about five pm. Active weather scattered to numerous showers out west between Uvalde Del Rio Eagle Pass. Now the radar is quiet, there are a couple of clouds overhead, but again, it was mainly active west of I 35. Here are some of the rain estimates you can see it falls off a cliff over Medina County. It's really between Uvalde Camp Wood, Del Rio parts, Maverick County, La Salle County towards uh Val Verde County where some of these areas picked up 2 to 3 inches of rain from earlier today. It was not much in San Antonio, very sporadic and very isolated, especially across Wilson County towards far southwest Berret County or the radars estimating 1/10 to a H 2/100 of an inch and that's about it. Uh earlier today, it's gonna be a little bit more active on Monday and details on that coming up in just a bit. 86 feels like 90 east northeast breeze. Here are the highest from today. A lot better than triple digits in the century mark. Uh, from a couple of weeks ago. Today's high at 96 in the city. 95 at Del Rio 100 down high 37 in George West and Beeville. Right now, we're hanging in the eighties and seventies across the hill country on this last night of August. Tomorrow's forecast, first day of September 94 sunny skies at first and then I see, I think we see a little bit more cloud cover kind of move through South Texas towards the afternoon hours. Some of that may be some isolated activity you'll see by the hour by our forecast tomorrow morning, clear skies and most of the rain just like today will be either from the hill country from Fredericksburg, Kerrville all the way out west towards Del Rio and Eagle Pass. That's where coverage of rain will be more numerous. A couple of storms will be possible, but watch this weather flow. This is great because high pressure is no longer overhead. It moves away from us. And what that will do is keep the door open for these disturbances to roll across the state. Monday, Labor Day, scattered rain and storms out west. Some of that will move towards San Antonio as the front falls across North Texas, that'll bring even more rain on Tuesday may take away the highest rain totals will be west of I 35. But San Antonio and the surrounding metro could see upwards of a quarter of an inch in some localized pockets, maybe even a little more. Ok. The 14 day forecast tomorrow at 94 impact alert days for Monday and Tuesday just because of the higher cut of rain and look at that more cloud cover and rain cooled Air keeps highs below average upper eighties instead of triple digits high near 90 on Labor Day, 88 on Tuesday and similar weather Wednesday and Thursday with decreasing rain with more clear skies and sunshine for the first two weeks of September.
