I'm Matt zon and this is what I learned today at halis Hall the Bears held their first of two practices this week the week before their first game week of 2024 KT and TJ Edwards both said they'll use this weekend to take a bit of a mental break after the long grind of training camp they've been going since the middle of July the Bears will be off for the weekend after Thursday's practice Edwards says he plans on golfing he says he's going to go out there probably shoot about 120 which apparently to him is still relaxing the Bears signed 14 players to their practice squad including rookie quarterback Austin Reed along with Camp standout ready Stewart in other moves they put Long Snapper Patrick scales on injured reserve they are expected to sign Downer's Grove native Scott Dy to fill his spot and they also brought back fullback Ki blosson game after they released him yesterday Ryan pul says he doesn't have any concerns about the team's depth at offensive line that BEC despite the fact they've been dealing with a number of injuries there uh Ryan Bates was back out on the practice field today but he was not participating in any of the team drills te Jenkins was also sitting out the team drills portion so that'll be something to monitor as well and backup guard Bill Murray also left practice with an unisols injury polls still feels though like that offensive group offensive line group can be quote special
