all right guys we have some roster moves as you can obviously tell I'm on my way to Levis right now looking forward to getting back to some 49ers football but breaking news Trent Williams is back on the active roster not a shocker we understand that was going to happen so as a result of putting Trent Williams back onto the roster 49ers had to release a player from the 53 in order to make room so Brandon Parker who was signed kind of in that holding pattern of Trent Williams uh situation and contract negotiation uh it now heads back uh to uh wherever he came from and um Trent Williams is now officially back on the roster and the 49ers also elevated to Sam okanu uh the defensive end who initially made the final 53 man roster and then they waved him and added him back to the practice squad he will be activated and elevated to the 53 along with Tracy Walker so one of the things with monitoring this Tracy Walker situation and uh also when it was discussed that he was going to be signing with the 49ers practice squad was that he could very well get the start potentially in place of talanoa huanga and or fill uh some depth so obviously if taleno huanga doesn't go he was listed as doubtful um in the final injury report so there is a chance huanga doesn't go and if he doesn't I would expect George Odum to get the start um but it'll be interesting to see who does if taleno huanga is out so um in regards to that whole situation uh it does feel like the 49 are preparing for potentially no game with talanoa which you know I would have loved to seen talanoa huanga out at pra or out for the game but I also understand he only had about a week of practice um since being cleared to return so I understand uh if they don't feel comfortable putting them out there especially coming off an ACL tear so doesn't doesn't you know make me too worried about that I think we were kind of anticipating it we were hoping huanga would be able to go but if not I don't think it is the end of the world but obviously uh great to know that Trent Williams is back in the roster and uh those are our roster moves as we get ready for 49ers versus Jets on Monday Night Football let me know what you guys think about these moves and all that good stuff in the comments below and as always make sure to like And subscribe for more updates
