really get his defense down and I feel like we're on the right we're on the right path of heading up in this defense we're starting to understand it better guys are getting better at the details and like I feel like tonight kind of showcase a little bit but you know we're only going to go up after this just get a little ankle injury there you have to get reted you talking about on the kickoff yeah uh n somebody had ran into my leg when I was coming in yeah so it was just a little just a little scary that's all it was you know I popped up walked it off and I was good so how do you think Sam play Sam Sam he did good he did good uh I feel like you know his first game he was a little nervous you know which is expected you know but uh I feel like he did good and I I told him man we just going to keep stagging after this so yeah he's he's going to be he's going to be a bother for sure jokingly said that uh if you could make the play you would have made the play cuz you're not that good of a teammate cuz sming about it just talk about just not you know not making the play but you know having your guys behind you you talking about on the on the pick on the intersection and then what a good teammate you are see that yeah so on the on on the pick uh like I said I I got mad at first cuz I wanted to make the play I wanted to make the pick and I didn't even know it was the interception at first and then you know I heard the crowd yelling I seen canai with the ball in his hand so uh it felt really good you know uh me and canai actually had in the Arizona game I had tipped the ball and he ended up getting his first pick so it felt good so you know we celebrated on the sideline I just told him I'm happy for him and proud of him you know it it was a good feeling Pi probably not going to get on Sports Center but a deflected batted twice tip pick is going to get on Sports Center yes sir I mean made an even better play yes sir yes sir what um after the after the past month of training camp what was that like out there to get out out there and get physical tonight with another team what did that feel like uh it feels great because uh you know in the offseason you know you're going against each other in practice and uh you know it's good work but you want to play against somebody else and uh uh today was the first day we got to do that and I feel like we maximized the effort and uh we played a good game but uh in my in everybody's said we just want to get better after this so you guys obviously been around coach Ally but what do you think of just the game day atmosphere around him and how that went man he's a great coach he's a great coach a lot of energy young guy so we feed off of him and uh man he did a great a great job of in place tonight he did a really good job so he actually got the game ball after the game so that was a big time Brent said he was swag surfing yeah yeah he was yeah he was out there turning up that tip pick was one of six turnovers y'all forced tonight which is the most in 2003 how can y'all keep that momentum going for the rest of the year uh I just think uh one we got to get back to draing Born uh because we made a lot of plays tonight but there's definitely a lot of plays that we left on the field so we got to get back uh watching film uh you know celebrate what we did tonight but in our head we're hungry we want more so I feel like if we keep stacking and we we stay what we call his M nurs and if we have that mindset we're going to be great and we're going to keep stacking to you know make even more plays so can you describe the swag surf what you mean by that like Zach out in the locker room getting oh yeah he was just getting a little crun oh yeah yeah yeah we put him up in the air so we we do that when anybody gets a game ball and uh at first he didn't want to go up in the air but we didn't care with anyway so so yeah so it got loud yeah it got yeah most definitely most definitely definitely have fun and uh we just enjoy each other's company as a team and this is the real Brotherhood I'm I'm so happy to be a part of this team man appreciate it man yes sir apprciate you
