this past Sunday the menal cross team took on Maryland at Panther Stadium Penn State was start the scoring off just 40 seconds into the game ma H and TJ Malone would add quick points to the scoreboard while goalie Jack frion made 16 saves on 29 shots the nitty Lions came out of the first half 8 to four after dominating all first half it was a strong and super fast-paced game Penn State had a complete breakdown in the fourth quarter they struggled to win faceoffs which Maryland took full advantage of scoring five times in a row and slowly but surely Maryland had chipped away at that wide goal margin that wants to find the game while the play of game did not slow down the nitty Lions did start to lose momentum and eventually lost the game 13 to 11 on a lighter note Penn State's offense had no issue sharing the wealth especially in the first half as six different players got on the score sheet in the opening 30 minutes Penn State takes the field again this Saturday at John Hopkins for Penn State sports tonight I'm Jamie d bolognia
