the race for the White House back in high gear today after candidates pause campaigning to Mark September 11th vice president KL Harrison North Carolina to do two back-to-back rallies thanks for staying with us here at 6:30 I'm Denise fdez and I'm Brian Loftus Harris's husband second gentleman Douglas mhof here in the Las Vegas Valley campaigning 8 news now reporter Ryan tisman maneski joining us from Henderson at the new Way Forward Tour event and this democrat's field office a little bit larger than the size of an average living room around a hundred people packed in to hear the second gentleman speak as part of his wife's campaign Douglas mhof was met by that crowd's cheers and began his speech by stating his support for Nevada's Democrats running for federal and state seats and also thanking firefighters who are battling the ongoing wildfires as the plug-in fans did their best to cool off the crowded room the second gentleman recapped what he sees as the highlights of his wife's campaign the low lights of Donald Trump's campaign and benched Nevada a few times one of which was when he told supporters they can put the work for a victory we can do the work especially right here in Nevada so we can win this state and we win this state we got a really good chance of winning this election right mhof also encouraged his supporters to get others to register to vote some of that work started immediately after his speech with the room being converted into a phone bank and some supporters staying behind to work the phones reporting from Henderson Ryan taneski 8 news now meantime the Nevada RNC responding to mhof trips saying in part no visit from Doug mhof can conceal the reality that the dangerously liberal Harris Walt's agenda will be one that Nevada and simply can't afford
