Miami Hurricanes Vs Florida A&M Rattlers (Are They Back???) (Game 2 Recap)

I have one question for everybody here tonight are the youu back are they back they have took care of business and they took care of business in a big way against another Florida team in the State of Florida and that is Florida A&M Rattlers in the city of Tallahassee also in the proximity of Florida A&M is Florida State University One Tallahassee school down one more to go but man first game of the season at Hard Rock people showed up and they left early because the game was Out Of Reach for the Rattlers the Rattlers did not score any touchdowns at all in this game however for um for the for the Hurricanes they have scored um I want I want to say they scored about seven or eight which is phenomenal phenomenal zero turnovers 548 yards total and 31 first downs for the hurricanes with the possession time of 34 minutes and 42 seconds meanwhile for Florida A&M 94 in total yards three turnovers all of them were interceptions and only 13 first downs so incredible and cam Ward for the first time in school's history in the first two games of the Season he has thrown 300 plus yards and three touchdowns plus and plus the um in touchdown that cam Ward flew like a freaking Superman absolutely phenomenal game so this video will not be this video will not be too long at all Daniel Richardson is uh Rattler's quarterback and this first possession it is a interception from Wesley bide who or besid with that lunch one-handed grab to start to start the game for the hurricanes and Damen Martinez with 11 yards that GES the first down and cam Ward passing it to Elijah a royal for 17 yards quick touchdown start the game for the Hurricanes Boral kicks the p8 and it's good 7 nothing Miami to start the game off a turnover good start so far um then uh A&M they only get one first first down out of that possession next possession but but nothing there was nothing they could do they couldn't get there the Miami's defense absolutely amazing phenomenal defense there uh next possession Martinez starts off with the four yard rush second and six uh jacobe George with the one yard third and five pass complete to Damen Martinez for 15 yards that's good for a first down um then first down at the Miami 21 Ward got sacked by Simeon Hines for nine yards loss that's a loss of nine uh Second and 19 pass complete to Samuel Brown for 11 yards third and eight pass complete to Riley Williams for 27 yards going to the F 50 yards 50 yard line awesome stuff and then the next very next play at the 50 camar pass complete to rreo and rreo is gone he is going to the house touchdown hurricanes and what a play by rreo what a pass by cam Ward um I mean perfect to start the game he has not thrown incomplete pass up to this very moment six for six with all different receivers not kidding you and then um what look like to be a pat they decide to go for two it feels like a a fake field goal was it a fake field goal or was it just was just a regular two-point conversion either way Williams with the with the football and he was able to push through the defending the defending special teams and he's in for two so instead of making it 14 nothing it's 15 nothing Miami to start the game off to start off with the two-point conversion the second touchdown I'm kind of I'm kind of shocked they went with it and if it clear fooled the Rattlers you might as well do it and they did do it it's 15 nothing Miami awesome stuff next possession it's the Rattlers ball uh Daniel redon with a with the pass complete to Carter Johnson for a yard second and nine pass complete to Quan Lee for 29 yards defense was trying to play catch up there and he was able to get there uh Kelvin Dean uh lost three yards on a big tackle there by the Hurricanes Daniel richon is second and 13 pass complete to Jamari gasset for 34 yards and that goes all the way to the Miami 14 regon pass complete to co to Kobe gross or yeah gross gross for 10 yards that's enough for the first down Thad Franklin rushing for a yard at the Miami one and I'm expecting a touchdown there but the Hurricanes had different ideas second to goal Carter Johnson with no gain defense was right there to stop him uh then after that there was a movement movement on the redlers to trying to get trying to get this touchdown and that was a false start on Thad Franklin Jr that backs him up five yards and timeout it's been called and um um just to say the least Franklin with nowhere to go and their and their only option is to kick a field which Cameron Gillis was able to convert the 22 y so that better that was a better case scenario at that at that time to hold them off for the field goal really good defense at the Red Zone by the Hurricanes absolutely amazing absolutely amazing how will they respond for this field goal Mark Fletcher Jr rushed for a yard second and nine first incomplete pass of the game for cam Ward his next play though however cam Ward passing it to Restrepo for 3 three yards an Inc another incredible play and that goes to A&M's 41 and that ends the first quarter coming out of the fir uh uh intermission or not intermission um end of the first quarter uh canw pass complete to Isaiah Horton who had himself a game 27 yards for him um for and that goes all the way to the 14 yd line first and 10 at F uh a and uh A&M um 14 Fletcher goes for two yards second and eight pass complete to Chris Johnson for three yards third and five once again passing it to Chris Johnson for nine yards and he make he makes it in for a touchdown B Gas this time kicks it for for a point and it's 22 to3 hurricanes just like that absolutely awesome passing by cam Ward absolutely amazing that's already three passing touchdowns he has made um uh A&M goes three and outs so we move on to the hurricane side hurricanes pass uh or not pass this time he rant it Damen Martinez for seven yards second and three cam W pass compete to Samuel Brown for nine yards that goes all the way to ANM side of the field Damen Martinez after that rushed for eight yards second and two Martinez for six more yards first at 10 pass complete to Isaiah Horton for 17 yards at the at the Florida A&M 16 yd line then Johnson next up at the first down nowhere to go the the A&M's defense was there to stop him and that's a loss of five yards second and 15 camw rush for eight yards for himself third and seven uh Martinez with four yards uh fourth to three pass complete to uh Isaiah Horton and that goes for a touch that would that would be a touchdown however there was a hold on Bell which would have been an incredible touchdown that would have been an incredible touchdown um if one or two things were to happen this was an offensive holding and so that backs him up 10 yards but then for some odd reason they went to review this they they were going to review this and um they were looking to see if he if this was the Kansas City and Baltimore Ravens situation if you guys watched the game on Thursday night basically what happened was did Horton's uh toe in was in bounce was it in bounds it didn't look like it was though um however though this was ruled incomplete anyway so this would have been a four and 13 anyway so their only option after that was to kick for a field goal and the 37 Y is good it's 25 to3 awesome um three and out A&M nothing to say about that one uh the next the next possession um four an outs for the the Hurricanes they didn't make they this time they didn't even attempt to go for uh this time they didn't kick another field goal instead they try to win they try to go for it and Cam's pass was incomplete to failed to convert fourth down next possession is A&M's ball with two minutes left there would be a pass complete to Kelvin Dean for three yards there would be a delay game on the Hurricanes because of the fact that I think they were trying to they were trying to cre they're trying to create some kind of distraction and trying to make them make the Rattler's jump and if and the referee saw it and they said no that's a penalty two-minute timeout is now it's called a two-minute timeout what could have what should have been in a situation where you you would just let the clock run but for whatever the reasons I cannot explain christopal is calling a timeout now in this particular situation I would have been fine with it if uh I would have been fine with it if if we were trying to get the ball back before the first half ends but then they make the first down so now what richon for at third down I know it says second and two but really it really it's third down really it's third down uh pass complete to qun Lee for three yards so I what richon gets richon gets sacked for seven yards awesome and then Miami calls timeout right there what are you doing and then Daniel richon pass complete to Ashen grael for seven yards third to 10 timeout hurricanes why why just milk the clock and then third down play of course Jamari cassette cassette makes makes a catch he fumbles it but the ball rolls out of bounce so Rattlers keep the ball at the m at the Miami for 43 um which because because of this because of this situation after after that uh Miami at this point has no more timeouts I just don't understand why you would call a timeout after the first down play I don't understand it I just don't uh penalty on Miami for roughing the passer that's a that that is some whack that is some stupid call I mean there were some calls in in this game against the Hurricanes that absolutely were warranted but this one was not this was this was cheesy this was a Cheesy call to make I would have let that go honestly first and 10 at the 43 pass incomplete second and 10 Brion runs for eighth third and two uh pass with pass with complete to Carter Johnson at the 19 yd line he fumbles the ball almost recovered by the Hurricanes but but once again that ball ended up rolling out of bounds so with that being said Cameron gillis's only option was to kick the field goal and they would they would get this field goal to make it 25 and six to end the half coming out at the halftime hurricanes get the ball to start the second half cam Ward starts off with the pass to rreo for six yards second and four pass complete to George for nine yards at the Miami 40 mark Fletcher runs for 23 yards just bulldo through the defending first at 10 pass complete to jacobe George for 18 yards now we're at the Red Zone Ward pass complete to R for 15 more yards which is amazing first and goal pass passes incomplete second second and goal Fletcher just p through touchdown hurricanes to make it 32-6 after the Bor Galis Pat awesome response after that field goal awesome um defense did their job against A&M which in which that would be a three and out an absolute sacked by Elijah Austin for six yards incredible and another sack by Tyler Baron for seven seven yards seven yards against against A&M awesome to see very next possession though three it only took three plays three plays because the punt because the punts from the Rattlers was awful it was an awful punts and that gave the Hurricanes really good field position at um or actually not actually not quite never mind forget forget what I said that this was this was the punt earlier that was a fourth that was a four four and out situation there was a bad punt earlier but this one was all the way back at the Miami 27 so disregard what I said I totally had a little break far cam Ward regardless though it only regardless it did took three plays cam Ward pass complete to Isaiah Horton for 13 yards first and 10 Fletcher runs for 12 yards that goes to to uh A&M that goes to A&M 30 uh 8 33 oh my gosh 48 there we go and then dami Williams um I don't know why I think there was a missing play from this ESPN thing but anyway Martinez runs all the way through to touchdown he's gone to the house 33 yards to put yet another six points on the board it makes it a 39-6 uh lead after the Boris kick next possession Rattlers uh Kelvin Dean rush for 29 yards that goes that goes past that goes to the Miami 4 six and then the penalty and the penalty after that was a personal foul on Miami that adds 15 more yards that goes to the 31 yeah so a 20 29 yard play plus the 15 equals 44 yards they're already trying to knock on the door um now um Daniel richson has been subbed off he uh he is replaced he has been replaced by uh junior morovic if toic I can't if I butcher I apologize but he comes in for Daniel Richardson his first pass was incomplete uh second play is second and 10 is Kelvin Dean for four yards second assist pass complete to Jamar set with no gain uh then couple of plays kick was no good for that's this is a 44 y the kick was no good however there was a penalty before the snap which means they can kick it again for 49 yards and this time Michael Smith who is a new kicker drills it after it was a Mis field goal awesome 39 to9 right at this point next up hurricanes goes right back out and guess what another touchdown Drive Believe It or Not cam Ward still in the game passing to Samuel Brown for 11 Yards First and 10 pass complet Isaiah Horton for nine second and one incomplete third and one Damen Martinez instant first down first and 10 cam Ward himself p uh would run for six second and four uh Damien Martinez rushed up the middle the game for a yard uh penalty would be on uh A&M Florida A&M um which which was a which was a personal foul um I think this was the after hit I don't remember what the penalty was um because it doesn't bother to say um but there was a penalty after the play it seems like which would which would ultimately ultimately adds more yards into that from the one yard which now we're at which now we'll be up at the uh Florida A&M 11 first play pass in complete second and 10 Martinez rushing for three yards third s Kore decides to run it for himself for for eight yards and he flew like he flew like Superman and then gets his first rushing touchdown of the season if if I recall he rushed in him rushed in there for himself and he gets it touchdown hurricanes Bor Galas 46 to9 another touchdown has been has been um has been has been scored on it was awesome next possession A&M Florida A&M three and out three and out baby Kelvin Dean with two yards lost and and um and then there would be there will be a punt and which was pretty which was incredible all right now cam ward has been subbed off protect the players now you bring in uh reys puffenberger reys puffenberger uh for what I gather he was a transfer from Albany I'm going to double check right now ladies and Gentlemen let's see um let me just go right here Aly yeah they are the Great Danes University of Aly so that is a solid transfer backup for cam Ward which I did mention I did mention his name during the preview I just thought it was interesting anyway he's he's making his I believe he's making his debut I think last week uh after cam Ward was Amry Williams I believe I have to double check um ree puffenberger nonetheless uh there will be a there would be a um illegal substitute ution for A&M that that will move us fourward five yards now his first SNP he run actually puffenberger puffen barer rush for nine yards himself that gives himself a first down Jordan Lyall for three yards second and seven there will be a timeout uh Second and seven after that pass complete to uh Joes j jisha jisa i I totally apologize if I butchered it uh trer for four yards third and three puffen Barker pass complete to nikar for eight yards for a first down that ends the third quarter and we go to the fourth quarter Jordan Lyall for 13 yards this could have been a touchdown but that's okay cuz the very next play Jordan L gets his first touchdown as a Kane absolutely amazing absolutely awesome to see that happen incredible absolutely incredible um Pat after Abraham Murray now comes in for or gex awesome to see um now after that uh A&M comes out Dorian K kher rush for two yards second a ker um ker uh rush for three yards third and five morovic pass was picked off um he was it was picked off there um and that was would that would end their drive right away so second inter interception of the game for the hurricanes and it was a beauty um what does they what did they do in this drive nothing they couldn't get they could not get the first down um I don't know if they wanted um Abraham Murray to try to kick a field goal which he eventually would but they they were trying to gamble for it and they were not able to and they were not not successful Puffin Puffin barer was trying to get out of that jam but he just couldn't able to do so it was a and he was trying to throw it he tried to throw the football and it slipped off his hands there're say they're saying blame the humidity please um anyway three and out for uh the Rattlers in the next drive there were couple of penalties uh um I don't know why it repeated but nonetheless there would be a pass to Jolan Howard for seven yards and an incomplete pass not much to comment there for the next Drive took 14 plays uh it's mainly Jordan Jordan Lyall rushing um and then buffen Barker trying to rush through then he passes to Alia alijah Loft in for three yards uh third and seven puffen puffen barer rushed for n yards and eventually they had to make a decision because puffen barer was actually sacked by tyres Gibson battles and James Ash it's a split it was a split sack for seven yards they just couldn't get to they just couldn't get to the end zone after the penalty of the full start so Abraham Murray kicks a 38 Y and it's good 56 to9 Rattler's next possession uh pass incomplet second and 10 cair rush for or ker rushed for 11 yards that's a first down pass Inc complete ker rush for eight yards third and two Kier rush for seven more yards that goes to the Miami 49 first and 10 with 33 seconds left marovic pass was picked off by uh ad Adreas Hees for 25 yards and that ends the game uh Whitley Humphrey with seven yard rush clock hit zero two and no start and not only a two and no start but a dominant two and0 start in back-to-back weeks and believe it or not ladies and gentlemen that ends there that an Rattler their longest winning streak of their program history uh the only loss within the exception of last season was probably a bll game I don't remember what happened but they lost the USF the the Bulls so not only we ended their win streak but we dominated their win streak it was incredible all right when we look at the box score and I don't I think we did that last week but when we look at when we look at the um box score richardon and morovic no touchdowns instead three interceptions one by Daniel richon which was early in the game and two by Mar with two interceptions that happened in the fourth quarter um cam Ward however 26 of T 20 catches 304 yards with three touchdown passes incredible and Puffin Barker didn't have himself didn't have a bad game he had 20 yards with the carryer six catches so that was pretty good Miami's rushing continued to be its absolute best um four um four rushing touchdowns three by a running back which is dami Martinez Mark Fletcher Jordan Lyle and cam Ward got himself a rushing touchdown so he has four touchdowns tonight incredible meanwhile for A&M um none of them went past 50 at all so that is that's that's incredible regarding receivings rre yeah four receptions with 104 yards with one touchdown catch he has made incredible Riley Williams with with absolute amazing play that he has made um espe and especially especially if I I forgot if it was him but but I think it was Riley Williams that also made a two-point conversion to make it 15 nothing uh Elijah aoya with a with a touchdown pass for himself as well as ch Johnson Jr so absolutely awesome by them there was a fumble loss which was I already said that it was a it was a uh ball slipped off his hand from trying to make a throw but same thing same thing uh with the uh a&n receivers except both of them um the football rolled out of bounds defense incredible defense didn't they did not at all whatsoever um they did not at all allow them to make a touchdown they only they they allowed nine points and those were three field goals the interceptions Bas basite which was that a crazy good interception one-handed catch C puit which was the second inter interception and in the third was Adreas hes with 25 yards so that is that is pretty much it right there and no interceptions for um A&M incredible performance by the Hurricanes once again as man it's great to be a hurricane it really is their next game is next week which is a 3 330 game against Ball State which is also a hard rock they're the Cardinals and their last non-conference game goes up to Tampa against USF I just realized all the non-conference games are in Florida they're all in Florida they're in gamesville two times in Miami then the West Coast in Tampa and then back to Miami for an ACC play so absolutely awesome to see with this one yeah a pretty crazy college football day yeah Iowa State beat Iowa that's that's crazy but I think the biggest one here was Northern Illinois University beating notra Dame in South Benz uh Indiana that's crazy that is literally crazy to to uh learn that from that from tonight absolutely amazing one more thing before I I wrap this up a shout out to the Hurricanes volleyball team who took down and made this incredible comeback against the Texas Longhorns who were the number one ranked team in the nation number number one team ranked in the nation and they did that in an incredible fashion they able to get the points in the third set by a by two or more points because that's the r volleyball and then the rest was history with that one incredible that is absolutely incredible and in Texas too so a quick shout out to the Hurricanes volleyball team right there anyway that's going to do it for this
