Trabuco Canyon a picturesque and beloved area is currently experiencing a challenging situation as a large brush fire continues to spread this Blaze known as the airport fire began near a radio control flying club and has since expanded to approximately 2,200 Acres on Monday September 9th the fire erupted unintentionally due to heavy equipment used by an Orange County Public Works crew authorities quickly responded issuing mandatory evacuation orders for Robinson Ranch and truko Highlands nearby Rancher Santa Margarita also faced evacuation warnings fortunately the wind has been relatively light and blowing away from our Canyon helping to mitigate the fire's immediate impact on our community from our will odal cabin the fire is visible but not directly threatening our area smoke is the primary concern but we are safe with Mom and our loved ones close by the firefighting efforts have been commendable with helicopters working diligently at Dove Lake to control the Blaze the tribo canyon Community is resilient with many residents having to evacuate their homes as the fire continues to grow the firefighting teams are working tirelessly to contain the Blaze and protect both homes and natural landscapes we extend our gratitude to the firefighters and First Responders for their Relentless efforts during this challenging Wildfire season while the airport fire poses a significant challenge the combined efforts of local authorities firefighters and the community offer hope we remain Vigilant and hopeful for a swift resolution to the situation our thoughts are with those who have been directly affected and we appreciate the bravery and dedication of everyone involved in combating this fire
