Daniel Jones is Average and Thats Okay! | Joe Schoen “ We Have a Middle Class Quarterback”

Intro did General Manager Joe Shane just admit that the Giants have a middle class quarterback seems like it what's going on Giants fans in case you missed it uh I caught this very late I had a very very busy day at work getting things together uh but I hopped on Twitter right before the end of the day and I saw a tweet uh apparently Joe Shane talking with Daniel Jones's agent Daniel Jones's agent first off needs a raise cuz a hell of a job you did inking this deal for him 40 million at the time was a top 10 paid quarterback now with all these quarterbacks coming up and getting new contracts and new contract extensions right now Daniel Jones is anywhere from 14 to 17th highest paid quarterback um if he plays well this year it looks like a bargain um but pretty much it says to me that Brian dball general manager Joe Shane and other NFL Scouts on the Giants they are admitting that Daniel Jones is a middleof the road basically vanilla average Quarterback and it's okay I I've been a longtime supporter of Daniel Jones that preseason game My Thoughts on Daniel Jones recently against the Texans was not his best work I've seen him play better I know he can play better the Giants o line look good I have some type of faith and confidence that that is not the Daniel Jones we will see come regular season but I do have some worry and I'm soon realizing that this may be a Punit season for the Giants they may just look at ahead to 2025 26 realize Daniel Jones is probably going to be at best the next Bridge quarterback to the next franchise quarterback um and it seems like Joe Shane admitted it that they know they have a run-of-the-mill average Quarterback he doesn't suck I hate when Joe Schoen on Daniel Jones people say oh he sucks he doesn't you don't suck if you're in the NFL and you've stayed there for 5 years and have taken a team with not that good talent on the outside the uh the hashes and on the interior offensive line taking them to a playoff Victory first time in 10 years that you don't suck if you do that you're just not Elite you're not good you're average right down the middle it's a sea throughout my high school year I got tons of seas I hated school I was your just typical average student Daniel Jones is just an average Quarterback can you win with average Can you win with average let's see Trent dfur of course one of the worst quarterbacks to ever win a Super Bowl next to Nick Foles and Joe namoth Nick FES was very average some even say below average he sucked everywhere else he went besides Philly uh and Eagles just had a loaded talented team that year and they beat Tom Brady and Patriots a welld deserved Super Bowl nonetheless I hate them but a welld deserved Super Bowl but let's be honest Nick FES was average at best uh Blake Bortles very average Quarterback took the Jags to the AFC title game um so it's possible to win with average Case Keenum another guy another average Quarterback uh he took the Vikings to the NFC title game not a couple years back uh so you can get there with average you can win with average we've seen it done Giants even Jeff hosler backing up Phil Sims the Giants win the Super Bowl against the Buffalo Bills uh wide right so it's possible but the Giants are basically admitting look we got an average Quarterback let fixed this o line let's get him some weapons and that see uh Brian dable spoke yesterday briefly about janal Jones's first preseason performance first live action in a game since last November when he toured his ACL uh Brian dable admit yeah I mean those things you got to clean up um but I I liked how he battled back I like how he kept throwing In The Heat Of Fire he kept throwing uh so as average as Daniel Jones might be right now just you know what if this is your last year Bud if Daniel Jones if you're ever listening to this video this channel if this is your truly last year at Giants quarterback at maybe even being a franchise starting quarterback if you go on and just be a career backup go down swinging sling the all over the field I don't care I don't expect much this season I don't expect playoffs seven eight wins tops is my ceiling I guess go out there and let it rip that's what I got to say as always enjoy your rest of your day and go gmen
