how often were they in your year was it still before every play yeah before every play just repeating the call that's about it is prob it helpful or yeah I mean you can you know when things are going fast things are going fast you can if somebody say to call you can okay okay let's get lined up but I'll say the biggest Advantage is having that iPad on the sideline the film on the sideline that's really that's really cool that's really neat and you know that's a huge to how does that help because in terms of seeing the video and everything or yeah you can you can point out issues quicker you can point out areas of focus quicker you know you can fix things faster I I think that's going to be a big tool for everybody what do you say about your team going through a lot of adversity and overall over you know uh you know just a developmental program you know we're we're working to be the best program we can be and you know I think we took a big step nobody really you know baded eye or shut down when we're down in fourth quarter you know we knew what we had to do and you know we execute what you see on yeah yeah the fake the fake field goal cuz I mean you I mean you you were there and you know look like L was almost there but just take us take it through the play and what did you see and how close do you think you guys maybe were able to making that happen from Scot you know a lot of teams don't run fakes you know but you always prepared for them they had a nuts to run a fake and uh you know [ __ ] their kicker must have been the the soccer guy or something he was moving a little bit and you're you're like oh you know there's not a lot of you know do you say say passive like oh they might fake it so let's not really Rush after this field goal or are you trying to let's go block as many field goals as we can but you know it works it it doesn't work as many times as it works it worked for them today and uh you know I got respect for you know if you want to play aggressive play that type of game go ahead was that a field goal safe though call with you kind of for you like what was the call you guys like BL left BL left okay and you know I back up you know Hunters tell me watch it watch it watch it I'm backed up you know usually teams try to throw out that set but they just ran to the outside let their kicker run I got to admit his the kicker could run and you know that like you know you you go back on the sideline you know the was the end of the quarter yeah and it's like no are we going to [ __ ] like what what can we you know and you know we just kept on playing and was able to overcome it but you know at least we get to see something like that well it's not like he was a one-on-one either though right like they they had a guy out there blocking for him it's not like he beat you just one-onone no like I don't I think if they toss it a kicker hopefully I would have get him to the ground but you know the kicker was flying I mean you you're asking somebody who has their hand in the dirt to rush pivot and then try to get the kicker you know that's it's a tough thing so kudos to them man they made a play overall for you as a defense how do you view coming out of this out of this game we we busted a few plays but other than that I think I think we're on the start of something good I'm I I truly feel confident about this defense that I haven't felt in past years okay truly what gives you that confidence just uh how we play together it's not a I don't I didn't feel one sense of panic out there today I we comparing in the past where there was times I'm like oh oh gosh like today I'm like okay let's I think everybody was levelheaded we're playing as a unit and you know they made some plays you know they can make plays but you know once we sharpen up and you know next week's going to be the big biggest jump of the season right from game one to game two and I'm excited to see how the defense going to look I know it was late and it's kind of like a throwaway but that that interception by by Xavier that's a hell of a play yeah he's really good I don't know teams like Florida State Miami I don't know how they let him let somebody like that get out the state
