a bunch early in the PO came off you guys yeah how would you describe today how describe today you said I mean overall solid day I thought I didn't have these races circled right um Speedway you know style engines and I just didn't know going in I thought it was going to be super lame which I thought there is parts of it that are pretty lame uh but there's parts of it that are really fun like this race is way better here than uh Atlanta and I I hate saying that cuz I want to run 600 and some horsepower every week so um yeah I don't know I'm scared that this package is going to stick around but I think we need to change something for Atlanta cuz there it's like almost impossible to pass and you just get in line so um yeah overall great day uh 98 got me Arrow loose that was I didn't blame him at all for that I thought he was doing what he needed to do to get me up the RAC trck and and then yeah I had to fight a little bit there to get track position back and made really good adjustments through the day and honestly just had a really good car on that long run at the end and was just kind of slowly trying to like save fuel and then if someone made a mistake or or bobbled in front of me I would pass and I was just kind of slowly doing that and uh I seen the seven coming he was not having a save at all so I was trying to kind of keep him behind me but I wasn't too worried yet like we still had like 15 20 go and he went by he got the 20 and then I thought the 20 was getting probably too tight um and slowing me down too much so then I was like I have to go then they let me go so then I you know got around the 20 right away and was you know running down the seven there before that caution so if we don't have the caution I think we're in a really good spot I thought I was good enough to get to the seven again and and make a move on them you know with the rain caution I thought I don't know it's still a good green white Checker to come out where you where you restart but um yeah that one might frustrate me the most just because had a car capable of winning and feel like we played it right just I guess a caution landed at the wrong time see you do now have S possession of the record for most else yeah it's not fun yeah how would you describe that like because you're right there yeah it's not a record you want I don't know I didn't want to tie it now I hold the record so I don't know Twitter and X will have fun with it right you know that I can only finish second I can't win so look forward to reading all those but I don't know man I'm going to keep fighting keep showing up every week like I'm going to win like I don't know honestly how I haven't yet for how much we run in the top five and and our car is just I feel like we've found something the last couple weeks that has really um just suited me and and our cars just keep getting better what's the mentality I thought NASCAR was going to call it so I'm glad they waited and got the drivers out there and I don't know I was just you try to play out how it's going to go I wanted to choose the bottom but like what we seen the eight the eight finished fifth and almost cleared the seven and so um yeah I don't I don't know I was trying to play out where I wanted to be chose behind the seven cuz I wanted to get clear and race them straight up I didn't get clear till you know off a four so um yeah I don't know I probably just need to get clear sooner and to have a you know a stronger shot at Steven stump of front.com here come back for more great racing videos and if you like us don't forget to hit that subscribe button
