[Music] all right cach get you to give us an opening comment yeah that was embarrassing U poorly uh poorly prepared obviously poorly coached didn't play well uh didn't do anything good I mean had P stupid penalties and execute on either side of the ball just I thought been doing this a long time with our guys were ready to play but they weren't that's all me just defensively it seemed like you guys struggled up FR on the r and that kind just about them to yeah they control we weren't getting off blocks and I have to watch the film I you couldn't tell but we weren't we weren't getting off blocks and uh weren't attacking you know like we need to look like but uh we'll watch the film and and uh get it corrected did you have an ankling during practice that this might happen none whatsoever that's what's got me uh perplexed a little bit you know you find out a lot in your first team you know you know you lose you got three returning starters on defense or something you don't have many much experience so there's some always some anxiousness like how the new gu's going to play but you know we got we got to put them in a better spot as coach as it looks like and then we got to play better can you assess how the offense performed poorly you know we couldn't get any rhythm quarterbacks were in you know got got a little better Rhythm time the second half but uh we they couldn't get any rhythm we you know thrown balls behind dropped a couple passes you know up front we didn't handle the pressure at times they were bringing pressure all the time so it was it was disappointing we we thought we had left some stuff out there but you we work hard to get it fixed rememberto Zion or any of the other quarterbacks started to yeah I would if Tyler and Logan you know if I put Zion in at the end but hell were just you know running the clock out when we knew they were going to run and we couldn't get any more possessions in the fourth quarter so you know I thought Tyler responded better in the second half uh threw some nice BS and Logan is always a competitive guy but U I don't think that was obviously our best game how will practice look like in the next week well you know we got uh two days to kind of get this behind us and take one day tomorrow to get this behind us and learn we got to we got to have as I told team we got to have hard conversations and everybody's got to look at what they got to do to get better starting with me and the coaches and then so we'll clear that up tomorrow and work some more on Saturday then and then get ready for uh Louisville and and Coast was a pretty good team but U they ain't as good as Lis so we a lot of work to just looking at do you think coming off of last year you guys gave a fight to South Carolina does that give you help and maybe you know you guys can play up well you would think so but then you got half the team is new you know 60 of these 60 of our half guys are new and I'm not saying they can't play I think they can we just we got to get them ready to play but you know we we obviously got some work to do you know when half your team is new and and you you play as poorly as we did uh tonight U you better players and coaches especially players and coaches need to get back to work and get better figure it out that's would you rather have a wup call like this at the first game or would you rather get some momentum having later in the year well I think you always find out more on your first game that you didn't know because you didn't play anybody uh I think as the season goes along you know a little about who you are I think your first game you find out good or bad where you're at doesn't mean you're going to stay bad it just means you know where you're at you know we know where we're at right now but we got to fix and I don't think there's a guy in that locker room that would tell you the same thing anything else okay thanks coach thanks
