nice forehead from Navaro I have no idea what happened in the last 30 minutes yeah it's difficult really to for 51 she's about to win her six straight game oh that's a bit lucky and that's it Emma AO is into the semifinals at the US Open 62 75 she finished in a row yeah she started the match with a drop shot finished it with a drop shot yeah right you're right but that was the shank of Shanks in the middle of the rally great moment for her Navaro in the semis wow not only that but um yeah she will for sure improve her her best ranking even her new ranking even more because she was 10th before this match now she's eighth and only ad ad Maya can potentially overcome here so I mean this is crazy she was playing itfs last year this time she was going in out she was playing WTA 125s in like May ranked 20 homesick she was just homesick that's why maybe she played she's Pula you know she's literally Pula version number two like Pula also just plays everything she can mixed you know doubles singles they just love playing you know yeah and in many ways she's actually Pula number two version number two like you know she breakthrough earlier in her career yeah but like like similar similar type of uh play style even maybe sometimes and then kind of how they approach that top player matchups and like kind of couldn't beat them but we're super solid and that's why they were're in the top 10 maybe with Jesse it's changing a bit now but um yeah I mean what badosa did today yeah that was not as rough as I mean that that that was kind of as rough as Navaros Wimbledon quarterfinal performance so yeah yeah I I also work in the other way you know right now she's in the semis and I guess many people would would like would be like oh uh hope we have the rematch with Zang after the Olympics drama and that's why I'm no I don't want it please I I would have wanted it but it's too unrealistic for me otherwise I would have definitely wanted that popcorn match I would for the handshake but I know sabalenka is just too strong this tournament uh yes but but I don't know I feel like this should be a different still a differ I would be surprised if it's the same story as the Australian Open yeah and last year she's still a favorite of course [Music] but um whatever happened to epu injuries and she's retired now unfortunately why does nav bring out the double faults in her opponent says Matthew it's a skill honestly it's a skill you know you make your opponent play worse than they usually do but I think today more so it was the neres the occasion that's made badosa play worse than she usually is uh but I mean yeah it's a fantastic season for Emma and um kind of a great way to C it off of course it's not the end of the year we still have two WT 1000s we still have the wte finals where she might be a part of them in fact she has just done well very nice step towards that qualification but um yeah but yeah and it's also interesting because you also were mentioning about the 125s and everything and those points don't count in the WTA race um so yeah but right now she she sits at the sixth place there and yeah so I she she's got a fairly good chance to um to to try to qualify especially day that result will tell us a lot because you need to be top seven to to qualify because of the rule change kova is in already basically unless someone kind of well had Maya wins the US Open for example and maybe then but no she would still have more points than kova actually if mova wins the US Open then it might be a thing like if if mova can win the US open and then something more as well then she could actually Kick K chikov out so I guess kova isn't oh yeah but it will become kind of a fight between them yeah yeah exactly yeah but um but Emma great chance right now yeah it's it's unclear what Daniel Collins will be like after the US Open like what sort of events she's going to play um em I is in there fantastic event fantastic season yeah she was scheduled for guadara but I guess at this point she won't go to guara yeah oh I don't know but yeah repeat for sure to tonight's result between King Wan and sabalenka will tell us you know for sure if Kwan loses then the chances will be very very very high for for Emma but also for you know also Pula would be a bit safer before playing IGA given that Pula now is is the seventh so she's the you know the the last I was not in the movie Challengers at least not that I know of because I didn't watch the movie but I think if I was in the movie I would probably know it I think at least no one else told me that so probably not probably not and uh yeah what a what a match and not really in terms of the quality in terms of the story narrative drama sure yeah that's right Navaro reached the Grand Slam semi-final before Pula yeah I saw a tweet from someone about that um course Jessie might just follow it up tomorrow as well yeah absolutely it's still the same tournament so it's not like because of the schedule so if but yeah she is a very tough test ahead of her very tough obstacle let's see someone who does not have a grand stamp semi-final at to her name is paa badosa and well she will not
