[Music] for yeah I mean especially the lead offs right off the bat to start the game um you know you just try to kill the momentum as soon as possible um we've got the best defense in all the baseball I would say um infield Outfield but try to keep the ball on the ground and um hopefully it goes right at somebody and uh fortunately did so um you can kind of get back into settling down and and getting into just a comfortable spot in the game but um you know you never want to let the first runner of the game on it it can uh kind of steamroll a little bit on you CL um I don't know I mean certain times I feel great and then and then I'll realize that you know not as sharp as I should be but um you know that's all stuff that you try to work on in between games and then um when you're out there you just you go into attack mode so um it's hard it's hard to evaluate where where I feel like I'm at I'm definitely probably not in mid-season form but um you know this was my second game we're on 120 so you know the hitters are kind of locked in and um you know feeling good and it's one of the reasons why I tried to rush back this spring after the surgery um just because I didn't want to try to catch up with with where all the hitters are and you know spring training is a good good time for everybody to kind of come up together and um not be as sharp and then obviously April and May people are still trying to get into that mid-season form so um whatever it is I'm going to do it as quick as I can yeah that was that was exciting I mean this I don't think there's better fans than Cleveland you know I mean they they live for their Sports um obviously um been chasing after something special with the baseball team for a while and um you know it's you can start to feel that that excitement from them knowing that they they have a good ball Club here and that um they have a chance to do something really cool in October and um to come out in midweek game and um show that type of support and really towards the end I was getting a little little tired and they they started making some noise and and gave me a little extra um little extra to give out there so it's really cool to to just get to feel them um feel their energy and uh you know Ser sweep seemed seemed to excite him a little bit what's Matthew boy similar things yeah joining this team similar times like do that with someone else um well I was fortunate to meet Matt in Tampa or in uh San Francisco a couple years ago and um saw him on you know I got front row view of just how tough this game and and physically how how much it was uh taking a toll on him there and him trying to come back and then to see him on the other end here walking off the mountain last night and just I told him seeing I kind of feel like I got to see both ends of the spectrum of of his rehab and um just how proud I was of him and I know how difficult it is to come back from that surgery and um you know it's it's been it's been nice first to just have a familiar face and a second just to have somebody um that you know you know is going through the same thing that you kind of Bounce stuff off of but uh you know he made it look really easy and uh you know just you know he's going to be a huge piece for this team um come October all right
