you were reportedly on the short list as one of Trump's possible VP candidates is it true and did you have a Celebrity Apprentice likee moment where you had to wait by the phone and get a call from him well president Trump and I uh met personally for the first time we had spoken on the phone numerous times and of course he had been uh very helpful during our 2021 campaign but we met for the very first time in person in June and I will tell you we never spoke about uh the vice presidency we spoke about is is how we won in Virginia and all of the needed efforts in order to campaign with the Latino vote and to campaign into our military community and to make sure that um his policies were were compared to her policies um we had a fabulous meeting and and I just uh deeply appreciate the fact that our relationship has been able to grow since then um JD Vance will do a fabulous job
