it was during last week's practice that Cowboys allp Pro Corner donon Bland suffered some discomfort in his foot and while further examinations were made they discovered a stress fracture in Don Bland's foot which will require surgery and have him Miss 6 to 8 weeks which means he's going to miss the start of the regular season obviously at least four weeks for that to properly heal and it's crushing news for the Cowboys obviously not having one of your better defensive players to start the year after such a breakout year last year for Don Bland recording nine interceptions and having five of those returned four pick sixes that sort of momentum and instant Just Energy that he brought to the defense and just the overall team it's going to be missed especially when you were looking forward to having him paired up with Trayvon digs after he suffered an ACL injury last year now they're going to have to wait a little longer until Don Bland makes his return in 2024
