hey let's take a look at the match in tazzy yesterday this one was actually on the verge of being uh well severely disrupted in many ways because of an electrical union dispute down there but it went ahead and it was Hawthorne that turned the power on yeah they did and they went to town in the last quarter they kicked 10 goals in this last quarter the conditions were wet there's the wizard Watson just playing on and banging a goal home but they just ran ragged yesterday against North Melbourne and that man could be Dan brosio a sneaky chance for an all Australian wingman but this is game where the other finalist I know they're playing North Melbourne but the other finalist looking this going how do we stop this so I think the other clubs are now putting a lot of time into hawthor where probably they weren't 10 weeks ago but just trying to get what makes this Hawthorn side tick and what makes them tick is there there's no one Superstar there they are very even across the tick is their ticker they just got an enormous heart and this is the reason teams will be nervous because of their record I mean since round nine they've gone 12 and three and they've lost two of those games by under two points and this is their recent record they're not just beating teams they smashing teams and these are some good teams there I know car were affected by injury so it's not just the easy beats they destroyed cwood they destroyed Adel they ran gws within two points but this has been the most consistent and best side consistently since round nine where they've gone 12 and three and um I think there'd be some nervous sides waiting to play them in September I I reckon they're one of the great stories of the modern era the way they've come from basically nowhere and Sam Mitchell so this Thursday night I think it is is the AFL award tonight the all Australian Rising Star coach of the year that type of thing Sam Mitchell has got to be a leading Contender for that well he's the coach of the year I mean he started zero and five the the leadership that had shown to turn it around and to do what they've done so quickly he would be the coach the I want to ask you about northo D because I I know you've you've you've led the charge on your commentary around them that would have been depressing playing against that Hawthorne side losing by 124 in teaming rign when you were probably should be two years ahead in the rebu at least two years I mean Alis Clarkson's been there for for two years now at North Melbourne and they've won three matches this year three matches last year just to put this into context guys they've won 15 matches in Five Seasons now Hawthorne has won 14 of the past 18 matches this year and and that just shows the contrast to this club that was starting way behind North Melbourne when its rebuild did effectively start to then explode into finals in inside the one year and North Melbourne just linguish down the bottom and a percentage of only 63 and be fair to say d Mo back when they were both zero on five and they played each other in that round six game or round five game with opening round did a lot of people feel like North Melbourne was slightly ahead of Hawthorne at that stage going into that zero on five game yeah and the problem is North Melbourne did too and North Melbourne I think has taken some um unfortunate Solace out of those matches after the buy period this year where they kept losing but were losing narrowly but it hasn't affected and changed anything dramatically positively so at what point does the question mark become even bigger over Lis Clarkson I think it has to be asked right now TJ I mean again I'm not saying remove him I'm not saying you I'm saying to have a proper look at what he's done and have a proper look at what he's going to do this is an all of Club review now that needs to be instituted by son from Sonia Hood down to genen Watt to the list management I mean there are holes everywhere reviews are irrelevant to a certain you want to do a review have a look at the ladder you cannot Meander through another season the way they've just done TJ and don't take any Solace out of those nice narrow losses that came in a six to S to 8 we period because they didn't win the matches they were meant to win they had chances to win they didn't and then they've Fallen away so dramatically they've got holes everywhere on the list would you hope to get out of another review though like what the North Melbourne people if they did a review what are they hoping to find Tak some control back from Alistair Clarkson who has been given the lot the full keys to the football club now for two seasons who needs to take control though well the board way from Alis Clark the board well the board can't coach I think there some big Leist management calls as well I don't want to see another Dylan Stevens on a fiveyear deal or a Zack fiser on another 5year deal or Griffin log and even retaining a c all that so list management is is the most crucial thing that they will do in the next three months
