Nebraska did some bad stuff to Colorado last night 28 to 10 was the final not nearly as close even as that final were to lead you to believe Colorado just got put to sleep uh by the way I don't have a cap on I would tip this thing to Nebraska folks that place sounded insane did it not sound insane last night then Nebraska folks they're always loyal they've always been loyal they have waited and waited and waited there's some folks with gray hair up there who weren't born the last time they were in these positions and now they they got the world watching them and they got Colorado coming in there and they ended up being the headline now how many people have you seen play Deion Sanders in Colorado and they end up being the headline Oregon did it last year and Nebraska just did it that's that's really when I've seen that happen so there was there was a big chance here I'm giving the game one and a half chalai because the game was kind of a sleeper it was over by half but there was a big change and there was follow through they had the opportunity and then they didn't fumble it away and it wasn't some one possession game that went the other way there was follow through that's Matt rule Year too 28 nothing lead at the half 149 to6 yards rushing Edge in the first half that's padlock stat number one you tell me that Friday you tell me they're running the ball and Colorado can't and then you tell me they've got six sacks and 10 quarterback hurries in the first half and I'm telling you it's over at halftime and it was over at halftime and you notice what happens unlike last year when you do nothing more than take care of the ball this wasn't some offensive explosion from Nebraska there were plenty good enough but last year last year they turned the ball over and last year it ended up being a disaster for them a game they felt like they should have won and they didn't you notice what happens though you just take care of the ball Dylan riola true freshman big moment for him 23 of 30 185 not special numbers good enough numbers one touchdown goose egg in the turnover column as a result Colorado's average starting field position was their own 27 yard line and for a team whose offensive line is a Civ and can't run the ball when you make them Drive the length of the field in that kind of environment it doesn't tend to go well and it didn't go well last night this thing's wide open for Nebraska now do me a favor and toss me their schedule right quick cuz this this folks is what everyone in the glass all the way full Camp wanted to point out to you in summer they said now hear us out there's a chance Nebraska's still bad there's there's a chance that we lose the close games but if we don't if we don't let's all acknowledge there is some scenario where we really have turned the corner if we've turned the corner then I want you to look at the schedule and so then you look at the schedule and you say utap all right well that would be a win Colorado that' be a win Northern Iowa Illinoi Purdue those those should all be wins oh man we're kind of halfway in the season ruter home should be a win Indiana should be a win oh there it is at Ohio State and that's where they said okay but keep going okay what about after that all right UCLA should be a win at USC didn't know what to expect there and now that's a huge fight Wisconsin should be a win Iowa if Iowa State can do it we can and that's when Nebraska folks look at you as you get done as you you're done looking at the paper you look up at them and their eyes are this big and they're saying see see see what you mean see what could happen I see what could happen Nebraska's got the fifth best odds to win the Big 10 Championship now uh they are tied with Michigan so there's a headline there's a headline for you in week two this is going to be life for Colorado yesterday probably going to be life for Colorado I know this was not a big 12 game I think this is going to be life in the Big 12 this year for them what Nebraska was yesterday that's what a lot of teams in the Big 12 will do a lot of teams in the Big 12 will play very fundamentally sound they will not give the ball to you they will make you drive the length of the field on them they will be really good at pressuring you they will harass your quarterback and they will force you to execute consistently they will as we said in the Summer shake your tree every week one of the best pieces of b-roll all year that Colin Will Roll is shador getting sacked as a little red balloon just floats in front of the camera that was wonderful I saw that on the live broadcast yesterday so uh the point is not it's Doom and Gloom from for Colorado the point is this is not the last time someone's going to play them like that which leads me to this piece of sound that Colin's about to play for you so shador Sanders has a game that was reminiscent of last year he gets beat to death and he's the one having a shoulder a bunch of the load no one's denying that uh some of you had an issue with some of the post game sound so I'm going to play it for you and then I'll give you my thoughts on it I mean how many times did Ry get touched you said what how many times did RI get touched they was able like of course of course whenever you able to run the ball consistently whenever you able to then that opens up the pass you know but it's just like you got to understand like what what what your team good at so it's like why would we keep running the ball if okay we are we out there we get in a situation where it's a must get and we don't get it um yeah all that's understandable it's just not stuff that needs to be said publicly I saw many former offensive linemen who were active on the old socials say let me give you the quickest way not to make me want to fight for you say that publicly and uh the followup to that what offensive lineman will tell you is no they don't play Perfect Games or anything anything like that I mean Colorado's o line is what it is it was bad last year probably still not great this year but the thing about it is you you know what you never hear you never hear an offensive lineman find the nearest mic and call out quarterbacks for Mis checks or or misidentifying and misaligning a protection stuff you would never even see you can see them make bad throws but there are mistakes quarterbacks make in games offensive lineman are privy to You' never even know about because you can't hear it You' never even know what's happened at the line of scrimmage and so I don't know what the dynamic is at Colorado I'm not in that locker room I'm just saying sitting there and making sure everybody but you shoulders let me stop I did not listen to that whole press conference so it may be that shador shouldered a lot of the blame um so I so I will tell you I didn't listen to that whole thing I hate when folks do that so I'm not going to do it but I will say in the clip I just took if it is not badly misc contextualized then it's not the best look because it's probably although true it's what he's saying is true it's just not the best way to change the outcome in the future for yourself that's all I'm saying that was my thought on that whole thing [Music]
