Angelina Jolie's glamorous night at the Venice Film Festival turned emotional when she stopped on the red carpet to greet a bedridden fan the Academy Award winner was seen chatting with a person identified as Italian writer pasalo Esposito who is said to have a rare bone disorder Esposito has reportedly attended the event multiple times and arrived on August 29th in a portable medical bed photos and video from the evening show Jolie kneeling in her gown to have a brief conversation with Esposito he spoke with The Hollywood Reporter through a translator after the encounter and called the a-lister a fantastic person with a very big heart Jolie was on hand to celebrate the premiere of her new film Maria which received a reported 8 minute standing ovation moving the mom of six to tears inside the theater [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] the Superstar and humanitarian also delivered rare remarks about her family life during a press conference for her Maria callus biopic Jolie is already getting Oscar buzz for her portrayal of the iconic opera singer and while talking to reporters she touched on how grateful she is to return to acting after taking time off to be with her children I've needed to be home more with my family these last years and in that time I've become maybe more grateful to have the opportunity to just be an artist and play and and and be among all of you to just be in this creative world that we are all fortunate to be in some way a part of and she noted that her high profile return to the screen is a meaningful one sharing how much she has in common with the vocalist I think in the way I related to her may be a surprise that probably the part of her that's extremely soft and doesn't have room in the world to be as soft as she truly was and as emotionally open as she truly was um I think I'm I think in that in that um vulnerability I share her her vulnerability more than anything [Music]
