that that's a shirt people would really appreciate that shirt yeah people will misunderstood what I'm saying uh Corbin hates pregnancy today well that's not too far off you think there should be another plague that's yeah not a fan of people nope especially most of them yeah especially in groups yeah and to the ones that like breathe yeah those are the ones I have the biggest issues with today we have a new song from an upcoming denou uh I think directed prove it a new Den directed he directed and then directed I think so W uh singers are subini JV prash Kumar den and arivu and JV prash Kumar is the Music lyrics by aru the song is called Golden Sparrow so I guess he's on his directing kick right now I guess I want him uh come talk to me if he needs white people that's what I need the G walking SLO walking fomo yeah I I often walk fomo my head's down little [Music] scared hey my golden SP hey that's that guy right that the rapper enjoying JY m sing queening [Music] [Music] [Music] gold [Music] like saying ComEd ComEd [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay [Music] s [Music] sing Queen golden [Music] nice that was nice that was fun that was definitely that rapper that we when it comes to video times now um uh what's his name don't remember but not only is it a great song it's it's great production value but I'm I particularly love playing with getting into just simple music stuff he the the the beat was played with it's 44 and it's also 68 in some spots so it's going 1 2 3 4 2 2 3 4 then you keep that Tempo change it to six and go 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 and there's a couple spots in there we he accentuated the 68 why is that interesting because it's just a fun really interesting thing to do you you it's a very specific thing that's done and most listeners just would know the feeling of it has changed a little bit but the tempo is exactly the same whatever the tempo is on that if you hit a metronome let's say it's 150 the tempo stays 150 but the feeling of it shifts when when it's 44 it's a very straight 1 2 3 4 you're accentuating that you keep that Tempo going and then go 1 2 3 4 5 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 it's just a different accentuation of the the tempo it's fun not my Tempo yeah um looks uh the song was yeah definitely a Vibe too uh when I went to see Whiplash I was confused it was all about music and for some strange reason I thought it was going to be about erotic uses of whipped cream uh it's from a directed and written film by Den he's not in it him writing and directing he's not in it so he so strange he probably got tired of acting acting and directing at the same time and want to just focus on one a little more uh or he just knows there was just not really a role in there right for him yeah um I got I obviously I think it might be a cool effort to try to do something like that but I don't think it's something that I would find preferable I can't imagine it is because I made the mistake of directing and being in Hamlet and I couldn't ever take off the director hat and it sucked yeah um just being able to completely focus on I I I think it's fun to like do maybe once or twice just to like see if that's you could do it it's it's it's def definitely something that is um commendable if you can do it correctly yeah um but uh like to be able to just focus on directing and act like direct your actor you got enough on your plate with any of those disciplines or just focus on your your acting and and being in the moment you God how hard must it be to stay in the moment obviously I'm sure if it's like a like a intense scene he probably has a a second uh a or um his assistant director yeah and you've got that's the thing is that to do it you've got a team of people that you so implicitly trust that when you go to do it as the actor you can forget everything but I I just yeah be difficult it'd be an interesting thing to investigate yeah I I would be interested but based on what happened with me in theater I I wouldn't want to ever direct and act in something whenever we get to talk to questions I would have which is weird because technically I directed quote unquote my one person show but that's different because you're not working with other people no yeah and what that's that's actor's medium and yeah theater directing very very very different because once obviously directing is important in theater obviously but it's more during the rehearsal processes yeah once the show is on it's no longer in your hands yeah it's so much so that if you didn't know this but the standard thing with Equity is that once a show opens after the um opening weekend directors are out that's they're bye-bye they move on and then you have the stage managers typically and they have an assistant director sometimes depending upon the budget of the show but other people have eyes on the show and then they'll come back every once in a while but for the most part the director's done after the first two weeks yeah of the show opening yeah it's uh much more even something for example like Hamilton Lynn didn't direct that no I'm sure he had a lot of say oh yeah course yeah so yeah it'd be just such an when is this Dro uh I think it says December so it's like the beginning of their promotions and it's a comedy drama romance um he didn't direct that fantastic piece of Cinema that we saw the romance film of that we saw last year oh yeah I don't remember if he did I don't think he did I think it was um I don't remember a different actor um that because I think we've seen another film of his I want how many things does he have in the pipeline I don't know that amdb obviously is going to be accurate but it's going to have a few things yeah and I bet they're predominantly he's going to be wearing multiple hats director direct he has two director things yeah director writer director actor he'll do some things where he just acts he'll do some things where he's actor producer actor director so he looks like he's on his directing kick right now or was obviously both of all these are from he did Ryan you know what I'd love to do he did this one and then he has another Untitled one with pasos Raj that he directed have a lot of questions we would love to ask you yeah about wearing all those hats um so I think he was maybe just wanting to focus on even though he acted in one of them uh wanting to focus on his uh directing a little more here um and try if I wrote it I'd really want to direct it no the director of um is myth the yeah such a great movie um yeah I that's one something I've always wondered even though because obviously if you're a great writer you're not always a great director correct um and but I bet it's difficult and I know it is because of how contentious that relationship is sometimes um the writers uh if you write something how difficult it is for you to relinquish obviously not only the rights but the directing hands of it and how often what you wrote doesn't translate to screen the way it was supposed to and that is why a lot of uh directors are writers though correct and why if you can be it's rare but like when JK Rawling turned the books into films one of the deals for her was I'm going to have absolute final say on whether everything goes the way out it goes um but yeah I bet it's difficult for writers to uh really and I know because obviously if you're on set there's some sometimes writers are like Quinton is famous for this and I know a lot of writers are famous for this you you will you will do the lines the way he wrote them yeah um he's like if I want you to improvise I will tell you right and I'll give you some improvisational takes but until then no first and foremost we are going to read the lines until I'm happy apparently Larry Sanders was that way on Seinfeld yeah it had to be Word Perfect don't mess with it I mean yeah the uh yeah it's their baby I mean it's they they're they're writing even even example what was the film I just recently heard it was with a oh in bird cage and bird cage mhm I forgot the director who who directed that but was very specific to to Robin and Nathan who can do it too but said straight up as written no improv don't improv anything and then we'll do improves afterward and of course Robin being the immaculate professional did exactly as he was asked must have been extraordinarily hard and then you have films like Anchor Man which like are nothing but improv 70% improv they're like all right we have a guideline here yeah go here's our story fill it in Jed Appel is a very different director um that was to director that right I'm not M or did he only write it I don't remember God I forget anyways anyway um anyways that was that was a nice song let us know what you thought about it and anything else we need to know down below [Music]
