thank you Kashmir for taking the time to speak with TDM Nomad how does it feel to be back here at work love dumb it feels so good I love Germany I spent the morning just exploring Frankfurt and it was as beautiful as I hoped for and hopefully the show will be the same Duke has something special prepared for tonight yeah so I've got a whole new intro set up with a brand new song and then I have a few new songs that I'm playing a couple from releases on my label Dharma and then another one that's going to be my next single called heartbeat oh that's cool you can't wait for this I would like to ask also uh congratulations for your latest single in Premiere coming Indian hip-hop album oh you know about it okay she did some homework yes what inspired you to create such a track and if you can share more about this album yeah of course so um I I so I'm happy India and I grew up going to India my whole life this movie came out called Gully boy which was sort of like eight mile do you remember the movie eight miles like a hip-hop movie with Eminem and it was sort of like that but for India and when I saw it it was so amazing to me that India was having this hip-hop scene because as a kid I never saw that you know like people didn't even listen to it hip-hop music so to see that it was blowing up and there are all these new rappers all these new artists I asked my friends in India like yo tell me who the biggest guys are I want to go out with them and I want to work with them so I educated myself on the scene and just decided to do a whole album like I'm just obsessed with the talent that's out there and so yeah so that was the idea and also I started out making hip-hop beats like that's how I first started making music so it was nice to go back to that and it's just kind of a nice break from dance music so yeah cool is there any particular artists would you like to collaborate with in the future Brandon Flowers from The Killers that's even my favorite singer that's alive well Paul McCartney is alive but his careers not exactly oh cool yeah also your Dharma worldwide label has been instrumental in promoting emerging new artists what do you look for when signing your talents to your label you know like obviously dance ability is important because I'd love to play the records when I play live but really what I think distinguishes Dharma is having some World sounds and um yeah just like a sense of culture and not just like electronic beats but a sense of some some organic instruments in there as well that hopefully transport the listeners to a certain place a certain mood that's kind of been our ethos at Dharma when we're selecting songs perfect and in the end you can say some few words to our audience idiom Nomad yeah you have something for them to say yeah everybody at EDM Nomads thank you so much for your continued support and always keeping up with me and checking in I love you guys and I'll see you at the next one
