Championship Game however Alabama's season ended on a bitter note with a 27 to20 loss to eventual National Champion Michigan in the Rose Bowl this year with legendary head coach Nick Sabin no longer trend Morgantown is known for being a hostile environment for visiting teams and the buzz around the Mountaineers especially after their strong 2023 performance is palpable facing a top 10 team in the season opener ads to the excitement and I believe West Virginia has a legitimate shot to cover the spread as underdogs in this matchup when these two teams met last season they combined for 53 points easily surpassing the 48 point total set for the game this time the projected total has been increased by a few points but several factors suggest that this game might not follow the same highs scoring Trend first Penn State's defense is one of the best in the country scoring against them will be a significant Challenge and it's hard to Envision them giving up big numbers especially this
