Emma congratulations this is your third Us open your first time playing on Ash and you defeat the defending Champion what does it mean to be in your first US Open quarterfinal yeah it's pretty insane I uh lost in the first round last two years and uh now to be making quarterfinals is uh pretty insane and uh this is the city I was born in and you know it feels so special to be playing here Koko is an amazing player and uh you know I have a ton of respect for her and I know she's going to come back here and win this thing again one year you two are Olympic teammates you also had the Olympic rings on your neck special moment it was a repeat of wimon but this time it got a little closer Koko elevated her game in that second set how did you regroup to win the third yeah it was tough losing the second set I had a you know chances I was up 30 love four or three and then had a little bit of a lull there but um you know was able to regroup after the second set and kind of just uh come to the third set with a fresh mindset um you know wanted to play aggressive tennis and I think I was able to do that Emma congratulations best of luck in the next round thank you go New York Chris
