look inside the Cowboys depth chart as we're going to give that a little talk a little heave and a hoe uh your Facebook birthdays and also your good bad and ugly your famous people birthdays is right after that I've got a list involving the Olympics and fun and then we get into mystery shotgun where we talk about all things that are happening in my interest of the world including that that that's with the MCU and also maybe a little bit of wrestling talk and also maybe a little bit of video game talk because that's been controlling my life admittedly good Lord and news and notes yes you're really G to talk about that I'd be embarrassed if I was you what no I your video game habits recently dude it's okay first of all I'm a nerd i' I'm I'm self admitted nerd right and so because of that when I get into something that has a lot of content with it and I can just jump in with my friends and we can all play that's a good time that's a real good time so a lot of times it involves them drinking while I'm not but it gets more fun the more I have to cover up for some of the uh the drunking issues well me and the other guys that aren't drinking as much so but I feel like it also includes all of your time like CU you can literally do it anywhere you are any like 247 and that's not right that's not what things were built for it is what things were built for oh when I have free time when it's my time to choose what I do I choose as of this moment because first of all before we get into it I have a bone to pick with every one of you Gamers that didn't tell me look man I've I've always wanted a a way to play my games my console at home wherever I'm at without having to carry that damn thing I why I was one of the I was one of the guys that went out and bought the you know you you went through all the game boys hoping those would do it those really don't really really not the same same I mean they're cool and whatever but it's not really it and went and got the PSP Playstation Portable right that was a fail right and it it was I mean it just you wanted it to be and then of course I got all the game emulators and tried to use them on my phone and they never worked because your phone was never powerful enough to run the game emulator but none of you all my gaming friends nobody looked me I mean some of you when I first met you you should have said hi my name is whatever your name is and then said by the way PlayStation Remote Play should have been like your next words to me I didn't know about this I feel like everyone was trying to protect you from yourself because I didn't know about this because look at what what has happened now nothing has happened Tim I'm perfectly happy Colby your life is passing you by it's not and not in a good way like you are missing everything in life good I'm I'm not missing everything in life you don't need to play your PlayStation when you're not at home sure I do why there are other things you can do enjoy life you know what I've done less because of this the only one thing I've done less because of this played sex no played puzzle games on my phone Andor watched YouTube that's what's less now in my life I feel like you would learn more watching YouTube I'm watching people play video games on YouTube dude that's what I've always done I don't understand that either my kids do that and i' been drives me crazy I don't I don't understand because well okay all right it's not like you're playing cubert or whatever dude it's it's that would be better no it wouldn't no it wouldn't and I every every time I hear the word cubert I smell Pizza grease love cubert that's what I smell when I why from an arcade yeah from an arcade because everybody would have pizza grease on their hands and just slam on the machine no man no because you you watch that stuff so that because people are better at the game than you are so you get tips and tricks you find out what they know and you get better at the game I just don't get it man I mean you would if you ever got online with us I don't know I don't understand the constant need to look and I'm I'm the guy that wants to be constantly connected right like I have to be con like I have a story about that about this weekend where I wasn't and it freaked me out right but I don't understand the constant need to be playing a game because you haven't given it a whirl dude I've been playing video games my whole life there is not one video game that I that I'm I'm away from the house and I'm like [ __ ] I got to play that right now while I'm waiting for my table at the restaurant what you're missing out on is the online play that's what you're missing out on you haven't done that a lot no so you get a bunch of your friends say if say if you're say say it was I don't this would never happen but say it's you gerb big red and me and we're we're that's our gaming group okay and so it's all jumping on doing the same thing but we're all just shooting the [ __ ] okay and having whatever live it's basically and I would do that from home yes but I wouldn't do it waiting for a table a restaurant while I'm pumping gas I'm not I've I've never done that I swear to God you have no I've never I've never set up you have to the the phone PlayStation while I'm waiting on food or pumping gas you you got you got weirded out because we H literally I can't think a lot of times when uh gerb and Tim are doing From the Rough by the way you guys can catch that show usually before this show and if you have any interest in golf but also like Shenanigans you need to check that out um but a lot of times while you're doing the show I can't really concentrate on any kind of show prep so there's about an hour why I'm in another room I forgot to turn your headphones off today though so you heard the whole show right and and all right I just can't right it's it's it's that hour so the hour before I'm prepping a little bit the hour after I'm doing most of my prepping and then I'm done but the hour in the middle I'm usually just sitting here trying to concentrate on my phone well now I can concentrate on my phone that has my PlayStation and my friends there and it's amazing what would your father say to you about all this you know who bought me my first Nintendo that's fine my dad bought me my first Atari 2600 but I wasn't playing it at the studio so preing right cuz you couldn't do that at the time no and nor do I want to now don't understand that that need it's not a need it's a want to it's not a need I don't understand the want it's like you know what I have the option now I can like I don't know watch some stupid show or an anime or something watch TV you have 72 TVs in the studio with you why why not because I like picking whatever I want to watch I want to watch this now we have multiple channels yeah you don't have to flip channels you can just be like you know what I want to watch that well you got to find it you got to search for it or you know where it is man I just don't get it start it from the beginning but yeah no instead of doing that now it's like you know what I can do instead I can jump on a little Grand Theft Auto yes I'm playing a 10-year-old game it's been 10 year the thing's been out 10 years and I'm just now finding out about it because all me and my friends were a bunch of cod simps and we didn't know another game existed because that's all we played you were what Cod simps Call of Duty fans and we didn't know any another game existed we've played that game for Jesus a long time oh so yeah all right well good for you I'm glad that you found something that you think makes you happy I am happy okay you should see my jet pack it's I thought you were about to say something else I don't want to see that sir so now to flippity flop as Tim has complaints because his weekend went arrived because he had the the uh the bum fungus of his butt and also something else Colby I did not have herpes mouth sores okay it was much more serious uhoh as you've heard me complain multiple times on this show about my cell phone bill because I got 47 kids that I pay for all their cell phones right pay for mine used to have a tablet sorry not a tablet an iPad it's not a tablet um and just multiple things that I paid for and my my cell phone bill every month used to be upwards of $450 wow that's bad I've since got that down to about 360 370 still not great no no and I still complain every time I have to pay it so I thought man screw this I just saw Deadpool Wolverine I like Van Wilder I'm going to his phone company going to mintmobile Colby all right and look it's a by the way I found out in my little research mintmobile is owned by T-Mobile right because Ryan Reynolds in his little Group sold it to T-Mobile what about a year and a half ago or so yes made him a billionaire yes and he only owned like 14% of the whole thing like he had had nothing but so look I don't care I'm I just need to save some money and literally my whole bill my entire bill was going to go down to about a hundred bucks wow because it's prepaid there's no taxes no nothing it's just all pre paid I just can't miss the payment or we you know lose our phones or whatever which that's how AT&T worked anyway so look I did all the research I go to mmobile I order my my now I I just need four plans my four plans I prepay for three months up front because that's their special deal they got right now three months $15 a month any of their plans wow so I paid $180 for the next three three months of cell phone service pretty good it's not bad I was going to stash what I would normally pay away and and save it right so I man I plan this very carefully to work out so it would be at the end of my billing cycle with AT&T so I wasn't giving them free money and I wasn't losing out on what I'd already paid I tried to formulate this very on a specific day uhhuh when I knew my cycle ended gross and I ordered women take care of your cycle um and I dude I ordered it on on mintmobile.com I had the SIM cards all coming they were supposed to be there at a certain day they showed up and I had a couple of days to play with you know had it all figured out it was it was working perfectly uh oh that's never a good sign had already checked with AT&T yeah you're good to go as long as you know your cycle doesn't restart and you know all your phones are paid for you're fine we've un everything will be unlocked when you just request it sweet well at some point after I'd gotten the SIM cards and like the day that it took me to activate everything my billing cycle started over oh dear and now I owed AT&T another $370 for another month gross which I'm like okay and I did so I didn't know this yet so I put the first SIM card in my phone because I say you got to do the account holders phone first right so I put that in there and I'm going through all the steps killed the damn spider kby I need to make a short of that so I go through all the steps I I transfer my number and then I go to activate the phone and sorry cannot activate phone please call AT&T customer service like I feel like I got this oh dear I'm like okay I just checked with him two days ago and this was all good to go so I go on my online account and I see my balance due 36928 or whatever the hell it was and I'm like no so I'm like fine you know what I'll stick with AT&T for another month I'll pay it because I have like three months to to start my account with mttmobile right like 90 days right before you even start it starts I'm like no big deal I've already ported my number to mintmobile oh no kobby my phone no longer works I have no phone no phone number I call mintmobile explain the situation and they're like well you you have to have AT&T Port it back but you have to wait like 72 hours we can't do that within 72 hours after you've already ported it like so I'm going to be without a freaking phone for three days no I use my you know I use my phone for work everything I do is on my phone right I've had this same phone number they're like well you can get a new phone number I've had this phone number since 1998 right my phone number is old than six five of my six kids uhuh it took me a day and a half to get this resolved I finally called AT&T apparently they have a special department for situations just like this here I think I'm in I'm in this weird scenario where nobody's this surely this has never happened to anybody before right I get this very nice young lady pretty flirtatious by the way too huh and wasn't Indian or anything that I could tell and uh by her voice explain yeah explain the situation to her and she kind of laughs she's like all right I I need this information this information this information we can get this done in five minutes I'm like what it's been a whole day already and I've been freaking out I didn't hardly sleep and I was dealing with my other [ __ ] too right my my sickness that I describe to you was dealing with gastrointestinal distress at the same time all weekend I still don't know what happened it's probably distress from not having your little Binky phone it was before that it started Friday night oh but so yeah so I had to call Mint mobile back and and the lady at AT&T is like well you're they're going to give you problems about this because they don't want you to switch they're going to tell them you can't do this they're G to they're going to tell you I don't have that information and all it was was my account number which I never got because I couldn't activate my phone although I had an account number because now they own own my phone number right right so I called guy couldn't been sweeter man I explained the situation he's like yep here's your account number and you're going to need to give them this uh transfer pin which was the last four of my my phone numbers I guess how they operate so then I had to call back AT&T the Port Authority line whatever service and thinking man I'm gonna have to freaking start all over but it's worth it I'll get my phone number back and in the back of my head I'm like this is never gonna work this will it's not this easy no this will never freaking work uhhuh and of course you don't get the same lady right I got some dude and I'm like I said look i' I've been dealing with something can you please look up my account and please tell me there's notes and I don't have to go through this whole [ __ ] show with you again uh he's like yeah give me give me two minutes you know like what's your the number you're calling about and I'm like well that might be an issue here's my AT&T account number he goes okay even better so he kind of I can hear him laughing you know he goes you are probably the 100th person that I've talked to that's dealt with the same thing this month I'm like really I thought I would be unique and like the only one that's ever happened he's like no he goes do you have the that account number in the pen I'm like yep here it is and I hear the typing you know hear the background call center noise he's like all right I'm going to send a text to your and I'm on our Google Voice number right for the for the for the station yeah because that's all I had on my computer he goes I'm going to send a text to the number you're on now um give it eight minutes and restart your phone and you'll be good to go and then you're going to want to text that number to this number that I'm giving you and and your phone will restart again and you'll be set I'm like there is no effing way dude that that this is going to work he's like if you have any problems call us back he goes here's my direct line nice I'm like all right dude I'm watching the clock it was like 2:32 and I'm like I got to get to 2:40 eight minutes so sure enough restart my phone uh do the little SOS at the top is gone I'm showing bars I'm showing service so I got the little five-digit number and I texted the little code to it my phone goes through this thing restarts boom it pops up AT&T bars first thing I did was make a phone call so whenever I try my phone to see if it's working do you know what I call time and temperature 214 5551 1212 oh my God my entire life I've done that to check if a phone is working I will call that number and I did it as soon as I got the uh whatever the what's we went through this the other day whereever the bank is now Bank bank of thank you for calling Bank of America did you know you and I'm like yes it worked and I got my phone back but it was bad man so I want everybody to account the order of this conversation as Tim in there was really just appalled at me I still am for me my love of electronic games as the kids call them now video games VI games yeah and the internet and using that to buide my time he was forced to go internets a day day and a half day and a half without his phone and it gave him intestinal distress and Tremors you have no room to talk sir okay look your video games did not pay your bills my phone helps me pay my bills no no no the video games help me not strangle people okay that's entirely unrelated it's not to paying your bills because I'd have a tough time paying my bills if I was like in jail or something that's true that's true so there you go you've punched people for way less than that I have I have I'm surprised you haven't been hit yet I really who says haven't been hit I get hit all I get punched all the time Colby it's true like way more than most people because you know I can't keep my mouth shut in a bar oh no I'm saying by me oh now that is surprising yes I agree with that so there you go well because back when we would argue so much we'd just be drinking at the same time and right I'd buy you a shot and you'd forget about it drunk K's never punched somebody before ever not the guy buying you shots it's to my knowledge yeah that's probably a smart version of me look good times there is our elect there's our Popa talk about Electronics get off my lawn Kobe I can't see I gotta get my glasses looking at you G oh gee now it's time to uh now it's time to transfer into hey Tim Kobe just skip that we don't have time time okay let's get into the real meat of the of the show here if there could be anything like that there's always meat damn it why does that keep happening it's time for the Colby saap and Indie cart Tim sports report as you barely saw on that little quick flash uh title screen should I played again did it did it not work our Internet's just jacked right now just popped up for like a half a segment second where you're like I don't know what that says got to catch it yeah something's changing but I don't what it is it's almost like one of those Tik toks where the girl's like holding up the the bikini or whatnot and then it flashes off real quick and then it then it flashes and you don't know what happened but there's a bunch of guys trying to pause the damn thing they keep replaying it trying to pause it at the right time right I've never done that they've liked it 80 times they don't know how I've never done that before I've I've actually never done that before it's not it's just not worth it no what I did one time I I wanted to see it so bad I I went and downloaded the video n uh uh-huh so you could pause it so I could just do it frame by frame at that point when I got to it and I could see what it was and it just wasn't worth it it was just stupid it was disappointing uhuh wasn't even new Diddy yeah just dumb nobody wants new Diddy by the way no or old Diddy um Kobe it is Dallas Cowboys training camp time it is and more importantly it is Dallas Cowboys pre-season week one timeo against those hated Los Angel Ang Rams of Anaheim Los Angeles Mighty Ducks I don't know if that's an official title so we don't expect you know a ton of starters or like Dak Prescott to play there's still issues with contracts with CD lamb and I honestly and we're not going to get into contract talk now we'll get do that probably on Monday again but I still don't understand why everybody's making a big deal about the Micah parsons's contract we are a year away from that even being anything significant so let's work on CD lamb right now and then maybe Dak Y and then let's worry about Micah at this time next year when he has no contract or he's going into the last year of his contract um the fifth year option for the cowboys that they've already picked up but so the uh the long awaited for every team this time of year The Unofficial depth chart comes out and this is significant for guys you know positions like you know your second or third wide receiver some linebacker depth you know and especially along the offensive line maybe at Edge on the defense you know just guys that are fighting for spots you know positional spots and things like that that you just wonder about all through camp that you read about well the team releases you know about this time right before the first preseason game what their depth chart is going into that preseason game right and this is what getting choked up now about my AT&T story uh that non-indian chick sounded hot by the way you've stated that so kind of didn't want it to get resolved I'm kind of hoping I could get her phone number oh flirtatious is what you said yeah very flirtatious I could flirtatious back but um so some interesting and I gave you a copy of the of the depth chart I have it here and you know maybe one of the more interesting things here is on your wide receiver list as you've got of course CD lamb listed who is holding out right which is interesting but it's interesting that the Cowboys have cidd lamb and Jaylen Brook so the first two are going to be your starters and not listed on here but what I read about was Brandon Cooks as your third starter which means Jaylen Brooks will have beaten out some of the guys in Camp for that what you would consider the third spot um huh I must be reading this wrong because I've got the starters as CD lamb Tolbert and Cooks oh there you go my bad my bad my bad yes yes sorry oh yeah they've got it listed weird okay that's why I couldn't see Tolbert sorry um so yes so you've got CD lamb and that's exactly what I said Brandon Cooks I said Brooks I meant Tolbert and Tolbert you're your your third guy your your wide receiver three essentially right which is what Tolbert would be because cooks and lamb obviously your two top starters but on the fight for for your I guess your backup third or your fourth they've got Jaylen Brooks which means that he's going to have beaten out guys like Turpin okay yeah who really I don't know we know he's a returner he's a return specialist and he does have some significance in the offense we know last year he ran some rushing plays right some end rounds things like that but hello hell is happening right now I don't know oh I swear to God he never knows when I'm on it's Norm to call Norm back um jeez oh jeez uh who I pulled that awesome drop for the other day then I totally forgot I'm an adult I know what I wasting into I knew the fine was coming and I also knew how much I wanted to be in EGP H um so yeah let me pull up my what I had here for my reference here for all of this because there's several interesting parts of these positions wide receivers is just one of them um but the fact that even even on your top three starters Jaylen Tolbert being listed as a starter alongside cooks and lamb and again we're assuming lamb joins the team at some point here um is impressive for Tolbert because he's not had the best first couple of years he's not he's looked okay in Camp um going into Camp if you were and I tell me you know hey who do you think's going to be your starting wide receivers I probably went CD lamb Brandon Cooks and Jaylen Brooks okay as probably where I went and your fourth wide receiver was going to be Turpin okay uh just for his flexibility scat back right deep play his speed you really need that deep ball to be pulled off that's where I thought there was I I don't know why and maybe it's because every time I look at tobert it's not enough it's like I I know what I know what the film said yeah coming out of school was that he's he could be something MH but then I haven't seen that since then so I as far as the wide receiver battle that's that's that's a good place to look I I I I don't know if there's going to be much of a battle except for that that third spot right and I think it's between your Brooks Tolbert and Turpin MH who could get that and really if you're using it as as more of the slot guy and you're using basically I know they're going to move CD around but a lot of times you know he's he's just going to be moving wherever the play's going right but you're still going to need the guy over the middle and the Deep guy well I think cooks and Tolbert can flippy flop that situation one can be the Deep guy one time next he you know got over the middle the next time so the wide receivers there that's that's what I see going and it's hard for me with a preseason game coming up to get as what I really want to see in these preseason games which is what Tre Lance because you're going to get a lot of Trey Lance Tim and is it going to be good I don't know it hasn't been in Camp from what I hear no Tre Lance needed to be your number two quarterback this year he did to to show anything and it's Cooper rush to beat you out again this year that's not saying a lot for him as a player no so I don't think Cooper Rush needs the Reps in game right in preseason I I think the guy that needs the Reps is Trey Lance get him out there get him out there for three quarters let him go and see and as far as who else you got at the uh I don't even care I mean you don't have really a fourth quarterback there's there's going to be somebody right don't we have a camp body of something that's just going to be out there yeah we'll always have a practice squad guy you know who that's all he'll ever be right but so another interesting aspect of this of the depth chart that caught my attention was um on the offensive line if you will notice Colby you've got some veterans like chuma Doga at left tackle you've got Brock Hoffman at Center the Hof don't hassle the Hoff Colby that's right but look look at look at high draft picks like Tyler gon and Cooper BBE all listed as backups here I know it's week one of the preseason but you need gon and maybe even BB as well to be starting this year don't you I think you do I think you need BB to be at to be your Center I and I just said don't the Hoff don't hassle the Hoff I'm not sure if I'm ready to see him permanently in front of Prescott yeah um and gon I now it's ah I think I need to need them both yeah let me just go Ahad and say it and I hope that you know chuma and Brock proed me wrong well I mean again it's early I will be watching the game against the Rams maybe more look I think the last two seasons I haven't watched a lick of preseason football not one game this year though I've got some interest here with the Cowboys I want to watch this wide receiver I want to watch the the wide receiver battle I want to especially this offensive line battle and I want to watch some of the the linebackers too you know we got some new guys here Eric Kendricks of course you really need man who's the new kid the Le foul guy what are we looking linebackers oh Marist yeah I don't I don't anything think about him but he's I mean got him here listed as a starter and you've got a lot of depth along in the linebacker position like you normally do especially this time of year right to pick from well the fact that he's in front of De marvan is not that shouldn't last well you would think that shouldn't last at all because what we saw last year it was going to be that was going to be one of the keys to the success of the Cowboys at the linebacker position was him covering and him you know making sure that everything was was taken short up while Micah was past rushing right and M's supposed to be moved around like Zim's going to move him around a little bit this year he's not going to be lined up on the defensive end a lot or or or primarily I won't say a lot but a prim primarily he won't be lined up on the end I don't think now I tell you I have a secret want now for these preseason games okay that is a no hitter no and that is that Snoop Connor scores a touchdown he's not making the team goold I need Snoop to score a touchdown what if Snoop and Deuce are on the field at the same time man how' you like to Snoop out that Deuce that that that is on you know what at that point I don't know why but I feel like we'll just call the uh call our back field peanuts you have to missing an opportunity if you don't that's right um so yeah and then the other thing that point that kind of struck me and and we we touched on it briefly is the the quarterback situation Rush listed as number two behind Prescott ahead of Trey Lance to me that's interesting and we we talked about why but if you look at the running back you've got Elliott as the top running back right no surprise and then dowle um listed of course under running back as well but also under a kickoff returner which he'd done a little bit and Von's done a little bit of but that I've never seen him on the depth chart as a kick returner that interested me I don't think I have either right like that interests me just a little bit and he's listed ahead of vaugh right like that was interesting to me so I've got another guy that I'm now be rooting for immensely oh no who's this sheldrick red wine there you go I'm gonna be rooting for Snoop and sheldrick red wine sheldrick to safety so I got to play the UB40 song Red Red Wine right every time he does something on the field you know what yes even though that song will get stuck in your head and it's not the greatest yeah not my favorite from them but is like the first one I ever knew but and the fact that they they knew the age of the people that would like that song UB 40 that's right that's not what that means you know what that means right and you know that I know what it means yeah I know you know because I know stupid stuff yes what does it mean okay they're all from England right right oh dear they all met each other in the unemployment line at whatever little town they were in the form the unemployment form is a u a form UB40 they named their band after their unemployment form that they are all filling out when they met all right then how's that that's not bad right it's not bad I mean everybody in England is like that's the stupidest thing of that's like our wait Kobe let's call our band 1040 EZ uh huh taxes but yeah every everyone over here is like oh that's a cool name wonder where it came from everybody over there's like that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard uh colan more Cowboys news we have a shador Sanders link now oh to the Dallas Cowboys of course we do 2025 draft uh and our own Mike fiser called BS on this story uh in one of his uh fish for breakfast videos earlier this week exclusive exclusive because ESPN is the one that shot this out and said Cowboys highly interested in shadur Sanders as a number one pick in the 2025 draft okay first of all ESPN or should I call you Espen everyone's interested in shadur Sanders in the 2025 draft right they should be if you need a quarterback well of course the Cowboys have question marks there right now for That season because they don't really have any under contract and he's Dion's kid but the fact that the Cowboys are interested isn't news everyone's interested the Cowboys aren't doing extra homework as a matter of fact you know Jerry came out and here's the thing about Jerry and ESPN loves this and other media Outlets that aren't local love this and he shouldn't be able to get away with it because it's tampering Jerry Jones can go on camera and talk about players that aren't under contract with him right even in the NFL that's called tampering like organizations get fined for that but you know what the league knows oh that's just Jerry this is Jerry being Jerry that's the marketing Genius of Jerry he doesn't mean it no so we we're not we're not even to address that you know but he does that for a lot of players he did it when Johnny Manzel was going into the draft he did it who are some of the other players uh H he did it back when Randy Moss was going to be drafted it's it's just Jerry that's the way he does things should have would have could have but look the other speculations are that if sadur comes to Dallas Daddy's going to be look I'll pull back my Tik Tok curtain gross because I love the pet videos right where they talk the silly dogs and and especially the ones where the guys doing the voice over right Rockstar or whatever his name is those are freaking hysterical but just any dog or cat or animal videos are to me are cute right where they're doing funny things so that's what I usually dive into at night but my favorite thing over the last week or so that have come across my timeline on there is the ones that are labeled I didn't quite make the US Olympic team in Paris and they're swimmers or gymnasts or whatever and they're just the worst freaking at whatever like there was a diver who literally she went and she's kind of a hefty lady right Hefty young lady uhhuh go up there she starts bouncing up and down on the diving board you know you'll see even Olympians do that a couple times right to get their height and then they'll go she did it like 10 times and then she just stopped and she changed her mind and she walked back and crawled back down the ladder no or you've got the girls that are doing the the the I don't know what they call it the high bars you know where they swing on their hands you know wherever the hell is at you can tell I watch a lot of Olympics and gymnasts but but where they just and it's like none of these people got hurt or they wouldn't have post them but like literally as they're swinging around their their whole body by their hands they'll slip and they just fly off in a random Direction like I was giggling right now just thinking about it but that's my new favorite Tik Tok thing col me I I wanted to almost talk more about the pet ones my favorite is the little dog running through the hallway and he's just going Mama said it's time to go to sleep mama said it's time to go to sleep and then he just hits the side of that cage where the pillows at yep it almost like makes it look like it was done in Reverse right cuz it's just so perfect right yeah that's that one's great I see it all the time all right it is time for the 10 weirdest Sports ever in the Olympics according to GQ magazine that's where I got this from in case you're looking for this uh starting out at number 10 the title of this irritates the [ __ ] out of me it is solo synchronized swimming what what is the point of that so synchronized swimming for those that don't know and don't watch Olympics is when more than one person synchronize their swimming ballet do it together and you grade them by how well they're doing it together solo synchronized swimming otherwise known as artistic swimming what autistic artistic spell it wrong is itself is a bizarre inclusion in the Olympics why is dancing in water or indeed on a horse or on Ice considered an Olympic sport but ballroom dancing is not question mark it's not a not a bad point by them but still what in the hell um so solo synchronized swimming was worthy of inclusion in 1984 198 8 in 1992 huh so you can go to those years look at the Olympics and you will see that at number nine we have the horse long jump and the horse high jump it's not the Olympian it's not it's the horse equestrian sport seem unfair the horse does all the work and the rider gets the Trinkets and the glory you never see a top show Pony getting its wedding uh wedding featured in okay what the so it has to have a riter on it while it's doing these things yes how does it do a high jump so these jumping events took place in Paris in the 1900 oh God by the way call be the Paris 1900 Olympic believe it was the very first Olympics that allowed women well and maybe horses and horses too number eight this happened in uh oh where's where's the year it happened will it tell me 1904 it was the plunge for distance so it's you jump in the water and see how deep you can go off the Jump and not die and not die oh my God so plunge for it it was you had to dive in the pool and see how far you could drift underwater until they surfaced up to a maximum of of a minute later all five contestants were from America and the event Was Won by William Dicky with a distance of 62 and A2 feet God and then he had to come up you could only assume that he became known as drifting Dicky by the international uh Olympic Committee oh my God uhhuh number seven how many I want to know how many people died in that event well there's only five contestants so and only four were left since a little bit uh earlier as the 3,000 meter steeple chase so basically and the article says maybe this is a little bit of sour sour grapes on my part I am a big Athletics fan and this is a sport that Britain has as much a chance of meddling in as we do um of winning the Eurovision song contest anytime soon but with its hurdles and water jump it's basically an assault course huh so it's the steeple Chas is is the hurdles but behind it is like a water pit right right that you've got to try and jump over to be as fast but if you don't you're in the water and it slows you down number six live pigeons shooting not clay pigeons by the end of the event more than 300 mangled pigeons were dead on the field this was 1900 again Paris just like the Olympics were more interesting back then yeah the modern pentathlon you know what this is no this event still going today is about as modern as cave painting it is is based upon the military requirements for a good cavalrymen and we all know how useful a Calvary is in this Modern Age participants take part in swimming fencing show jumping don't know what that is longdistance running and pistol shooting and it's all random you don't know what obstacle you've got next oh you don't know what's coming up after you finish oh dude I like that one at number four they had in 1912 they had pistol [Music] dueling um now this wasn't you shot each other this was they had mannequins up and you there was a bell and whoever shot the guy first oh okay so they weren't pointing the gun at each right see that's kind of interesting for today it might be who's got the Quick Draw especially if you could set the mannequins up to look like political figures right who knew in Paris 1900 by the way we need to go review these these Olympics a little bit more find video the 200 I don't think that exists the 200 met swimming obstacle race basically wipe out have happened first I bet Bob Costas called him for NBC right so can you imagine the ramps the water I don't know the big ball whatever it's just wipe out but it's the Olympic form it's an obstacle course in the Water Country versus country yeah now do you have other countries triggering the obstacles like that would be cool that would be cool I would I could get into that see like they're doing the Olympics wrong they used used to do him right right call me break dancing is a metal sport you know what I'm I'm here for it uh no from 1912 to 1948 didn't know this medals were awarded for a sport inspired uh artworks for architecture literature music painting and sculpture art was an Olympic sport I'm out it's not fair Italy had like Leonardo da Vinci and finally we go to Paris 1900 again cuz DN in those Olympics you had live poodle clipping what like the hair or the nails the everything you groom the whole poodle as an Olympic sport as Olympic sport you were timed can you imagine how nervous those poodles were as you've got to start from them position and the Poodle's over there and it's not like it's not it's it's just out in the open it's not got a harness or anything on it you got to chase that poodle down have never seen heard of any of this before until we got contacted by this guy's dudes to to do an interview with him for one of Norm's shows that we did a couple weeks ago and he was I think when we did the interview he was about a week away from heading to Paris to compete he was he was already the world record holder um in in speed men's speed climbing what speed speed climbing is you know what a climbing wall looks like right right but they do it really fast um it's 40t and there's a pad up there touch to touch that turns off the timer Colby his world record 4.79 seconds would you like to see what this looks like sure dude because Sam Watson in this year's Olympics broke his world record of 4.79 seconds climbing 40 feet up a rock climbing wall and set a new record of 4.75 seconds let me get over here to where I can do the video for damn and I was reading up on him obviously before we talked about him and I was like no this can't be a thing like this doesn't even make sense to me me I I I spent probably an hour watching videos of him climb um but here let's uh see if we can show the video here and get an idea of what it looks like like crawl that fast I don't think I could look up there uh and find the red pad in four four seconds right looking from the ground sometimes it takes you four seconds to get out of that chair you're in or uh yeah or longer that's why I can't do bathroom breakes dur bricks anymore cuz I'm like I hear the return music as I'm leaving the room right it's oh dear but uh yeah dude and what so what's funny is like I said he's 18 he's still in high school and we didn't get to interviewing he what honestly wasn't a very good interview you know Norman's a great interviewer right and this could clearly had not been in a ton of interview you know sit down interviews on Zoom or whatever you know we did it on streamyard and stuff but I had so many questions to ask him but by the end of the whatever 15 minutes when Norm was done with him I was just I just want to get out of here but like I want to know look dude he's from he's from South Lake right right goes to South Lake Carol how do you get into this like that's not a sport that you have in your school I mean they've got rock climbing places to go and I guess it was just one of those things where he just like that's you know what when he had free time that's what he did that's just incredible though to climb that amount of base in that time up a rock wall right and so what's funny is like you know you see that cable that harness he's attached well that's clearly for safety and for to help him get down he's like a lot of people say that it's pulling us up he go like it doesn't there's no tension on it until we hit that pad then it tenses up the pad is what tenses it up to hold you and then lets you down he goes but before there's no tension on it he goes if I fall he goes and people have fallen you'll fall four or five feet before it will catch you so he's like there's not it's not pulling you up a lot of people look at he goes he goes I've seen people where it didn't work like and they get 10 20 feet up and they fall in the cable never catches them and they just they're on that's why they're on pads too you know right but um I just I I don't understand and not it's not just that sport but other sports that are weird like that right that aren't mainstream sports like H how do you get into stuff like that like I just that baffles me you just it's really cool yeah it's it's well I mean as far as that's concerned it's your buddies you and your dad was in it or something or knew somebody you know yeah you just you just end up there and then you just get better at it like video games VI games Kobe it all comes back to video games playing on your phone waiting at the dentist office that's right did that but I was waiting for other people at the dentist office waiting in traffic they never done that no MM something tells me you're going to on the way home sure not don't for forite and drive sir it's not fortnite sir well it could be you can do whatever you want right yeah it's well right now it's GTA that game that you said you'd play with us I'm along with Pod racer it's time to get into a little bit of that is Marvel and MCU news as the Deadpool and Wolverine movie is pretty much revitalized like we told you it would almost a year ago that was going to bring the the MCU back and we've been telling you for a while that this was going to to basically refocus the the plotline of the mcu2 and really give it a direction which I don't know if you noticed when you saw it but that's what it did with the TVA and the timelines and what happened and Loki and all that kind of drug into the same show and bringing everything together and kind of letting you know about you know your your actual uh beings in each universe that hold the damn thing together and wolver Mar is is one of those that holds it together and ends up saving the day and what have you um all these things are brought together and plus before I get into Tim's uh review of this movie um and by the way spoiler alert hopefully we've given you enough time I'm sorry I just started going into it because yeah we delayed this for a week for you guys so uh the void is really kind of like the planet that secret Wars has fought on okay Secret Wars is where we're all heading towards it's like this phases um Infinity Saga and the end for for thanos's run and what have you well Secret Wars is is that's where the void is held on a planet where basically all your your beings like Wolverine are drugged to to fight it out right to see which Universe survives so all that being said this is now the move into as far as the movie is concerned that's it's an like can we give it two a pluses is a plus plus um it was just so much fan service in it was it was just great I don't I mean I told you it was going to be good you did I never doubted you you did no I didn't doubt you I knew it would be good I just told you I don't have the same history with these characters that you do and I just didn't really understand what all the hubub was about for lack of a better word so Tim before I get into more of my nerd out situation you went and saw the Deadpool night and me and the Eli went you walked into this thing and you were you were just kind of ready to not be impressed or no that's not accurate I mean look I I enjoyed the Deadpool movies right right for what they are I'm I'm number one I'm a Ryan Reynolds fan he'll always be Van Wilder to me because that's the first place I ever saw him okay so it's when I think Ryan Reynolds I don't think Deadpool or the dude from the proposal by the way that was a great refence um I think Van Wilder right okay so that's why the van milder thing was so funny when that as part of the movie um but I wasn't I was expecting to be entertained like I knew I would like the movie right and I was with my son who wanted to see it really bad and we had bought tickets the day before picked out our seats and by the way I told you when I picked out our seats online there were like two of the last seats everything looked sold out Co you know how many people were in the theater with us there are five other people in the theater with us huh out of a soldout theater now we saw the 3:30 in the afternoon Friday right uh Edition which saved me apparently $10 a ticket and our MAA tickets were still like $111 so ridiculous movies these days but you know I knew I would enjoy it we had eaten on the way so I wouldn't get uh raped for movie theater food okay uh we paid $7 for a Dr Pepper that we split so ridiculous but you know and then the opening scene comes along it is what it is with in sync and the TVA I didn't even know the TVA were going to be in this movie I had no idea what this movie was about other than that it was Wolverine and it was Deadpool and again like I told you I don't know the history of these two characters I don't know anything about them I'm like how are they going to work these two guys in together right but I know from you that these guys have been mortal enemies for a long time in the comics right and so this was a matchup every body been waiting for and everybody's been looking for so I kind of got it I just not to the extent right but by the way that was you were thinking of my reference to Hulk yes they've been in the comic books together but the Hulk is the one that they can't wait for Wolverine to [ __ ] well but see I didn't know that until like just now like I I thought the Deadpool and Wolverine thing they've been app pairing for a long time right yeah they've been it's it's one of Deadpools well we won't get into it but yeah you're right okay and that's literally all I knew but of course going into it you know it's it's Deadpool so of course it's going to be great and I like Hugh Jackman as as Wolverine literally don't know anything else that he's ever been in other than like liar Rob or whatever that I never saw but but I like I like Q Jackman he's he's great so I knew I would like the movie had no idea what the plot was going to be about didn't know the TVA was going to be in it like I'm really glad I kept up with all of those other shows right like Loki so I know what the hell the TVA is uh and some of those uh some of those cameos you know that were in it were were kind of a kick but no dude as as as the movie went on of course I was into it because it was entertaining that's all I've ever asked for from a movie or a TV show entertain meh you know and I got a lot of the references maybe probably more than you think I would have I did get a lot of the references I'm sure there's a ton more that went over my head that I didn't get I have to watch it again in order to be able to get more because I know I missed all of them probably so because you're so into what was happening at the right then right in the movie um you know if we're going to get into spoilers you know I don't think I think this is out there now but maybe the coolest thing that that I saw was the Chris Evans Cameo uhuh when he wasn't who you thought he was going to be which I thought was even a greater twist and the con you know and then the reference when his when he when he died as Johnny Storm was the the sidebar that that Deadpool said he was killing our budget right like they had to get him out of there because he was killing the budget and then my one of my other favorite references was the multiple times that um Deadpool kept saying to Wolverine you're going to play this character till you're 80 yes he did that two or three times I told you till you're 80 but all the cameos and the superheroes and everything would I D it was I just thought it was great man it was great I did not expect to see blade that was you know what and that was a shot that he said there's been only there there's been only one blade and there only ever be one blade yeah because they're making a new blade movie with a new blade yeah you know what it's having trouble being produced they're having trou it's not Wesley Snipes who's 70 years old now no they the director and the the way they want to go with the movie keeps changing so they keep changing directors and so it's it's like we've been hearing for like the past six or seven years that that movie was going to come out right and they can't even get to filming it that's funny yeah that makes that reference even more important for him then too but no I thought it was great man I got no complaints other than was there not a an in credit scene I mean you which one what are you talking about for the movie at all was there an in credit scene the the one with Johnny storman it I don't know I didn't see one was there an in credit scene that's what I'm asking yes because Eli and I both had to peie so bad we waited as long as we could then he's like Dad I got I'm like yeah me too there's probably not one so I never did check to see if there was one and we missed it you missed it damn it Eli you missed it dang it what are we doing not find I'm not even gonna tell you what it is no we'll go find it on when we get home because it draws a lot of the references in from the whole entire movie together we should have waited should have just peed under my chair waser anybody there anyway so if you didn't catch from all the references to uh Deadpool telling uh Hugh that he's going to be playing that character forever um Kevin feige of course after the movie made like a billion dollars um came out and said he's not looking to cast Wolverine anytime soon good now we already knew that we were going to see Wolverine in uh as Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in the last two in the secret Wars and then uh the Doctor Doom Doomsday situation they're going to have him there for that group the fact that they're going to have more Deadpool Wolverine movies is also a thing that's going to happen right which we could tell from the end of this movie yes yeah um they're going to add in more characters there's going to be a Deadpool Spider-Man in Wolverine movie okay which we don't know which Spider-Man it's going to be maybe it'll be a new one but I imagine if you're going to have the old guys playing the part you're probably going to go after probably Maguire Jerry Maguire so that would be my guess and also there's probably going to be a little bit more Deadpool Hulk Wolverine Hulk situation going on so yeah and You' talked about the Hulk thing but we're probably talking about Professor Hulk right no it it'll end up being it'll end up being Savage Hulk will it okay yeah I'm not a fan of the professor Hulk the banner Hulk is nobody's true favorite except for when it's like you need the strength but you also need him to think out a situation like you don't have Tony Stark or you don't have you don't have any of the brains and you need a brain so the fact that your brain guy is also can just like go flip over a tank right is a is a pretty good thing so need She-Hulk in some of these may never get to see her again no may never get to see her again bud damn it fix it Colby fix it well I watched She-Hulk and thought it was great so did I we talked about it there was a lot of people out there that watched it and thought it was piss poor I don't understand those hand the whole show was amazing but by the way I well I did they didn't address it last night on Raw I don't think or Monday on Raw because I may have been playing a lot more GTA than I was staring at wrestling um but La Knight winning the title but also Logan Paul's foot might have been under the ropes when he was counted out so we'll see if there's a swerve a coming controversy and finally on all of that yeah by the way SummerSlam was awesome Deadpool Wolverine was awesome we've got a lot more Fantastic 4 and such news coming up butly was awesome it was not aoly sucked I'm going to make an
