I think I speak for everyone when I say if we could just bottle this day up and keep it and bring it around in like mid July, mid August, mid January. This was perfect next week. Not to be that guy because it's going away. Uh by next week it's sorry. I, I feel like a party pooper. No, I mean it's true. You call it fake fall and that's what happens. We get this nice little tiny, little taste of cooler weather and then boom, we're back to midnight. Terrible for being negative. I was just being the realist. I won't do that again until the 14 day forecast in like three minutes. So enjoy this 83 Teresa. That was the high today. Lovely. Now that low is taken at DFW airport. That's 63. But there were many, many areas outside of the metroplex that got into the fifties this morning and you'll do it again tomorrow. Uh The record high. Guess when that was Teresa last year? Oh my goodness. There you go. So look today 83 last year today. 100 and 1010. 0 man. Are we liking this better? 27 degree difference if my math is right. Uh, it's a lot better. 83 degrees right now. Uh, with winds out of the east at 13 miles an hour. Here's a look at the lows tonight. Another one just like this morning. 57 in mckinney, 55 in Greenville, 59 in Mineral Wells and 59 in Waxahachie. So, a nice cool start to your work week. Uh, by the afternoon you'll certainly not. I mean, it's gonna be back into the middle eighties tomorrow. So it'll be a cool morning. Tuesday will be a cool morning, but we are gonna start warming back up. And by the middle of the week, the area in the Gulf of Mexico is gonna be passing to our east, but as that lifts to the north, it's going to bring back not only the warmth but Gulf moisture, humidity will start rising, uh Certainly by Wednesday and Thursday. So here it is, this is a disorganized mess of thunderstorms in the northern Gulf of Mexico. What is becoming increasingly more organized is in the Bay of Campeche down here in the south western corner of the Gulf of Mexico. This area right here is what we're anticipating to become Francine sometime tomorrow, maybe even overnight. Uh We're gonna watch it carefully but we will have tropical storm Francine sometime tomorrow. And Tuesday, we are likely gonna have strengthening tropical storm Francine as it approaches the Texas coast. This is Wednesday at one o'clock in the morning winds of 70 miles an hour. That's right there in the territory of becoming a category one hurricane, which we expect francine to do. Now, remember this blue area is what we call the cone of uncertainty. So, you know, the central track, the most likely outcome but still not a zero chance as you get to the edges of this cone. Here's a, a closer look at where this is tracking by Wednesday afternoon, going into Wednesday evening, a category one hurricane is what is currently in the forecast and this could make landfall anywhere from, you know, unlikely Corpus, you know, Brazas, Port Galveston into Louisiana. That's the better chance to see landfall from Francine as it then moves off to the north toward the Midwest. So that's what we're expecting with Francine. The impact in North Texas a little chance of rain Wednesday, certainly increasing humidity. The heavy rain is going to stay to the east. So take a look at this. Uh This is Tuesday morning, 7 a.m. There's what will become Francine, moving to the north, heavy rain along all of the Gulf coast of Texas. Uh the coast of Texas and Louisiana, it looks like the highest impact from this will be in Louis. And because of the track, the strongest portion of these tropical systems is in the northeastern quadrant. That's where the bigger storm surge will be, the bigger winds, the heavier rain. So still Texas is expecting quite a bit of rain from this. Uh, however, Louisiana may catch the brunt of Francine. And here's a look at the rainfall forecast 4 to 7 or more inches of rain along the coast into Louisiana. Up through Mississippi. Not much here really. This is through Friday. We, we may see a scattering of showers and storms uh as this passes by but not much. Tonight. 59 dry and cool tomorrow. 86 warm dry light winds, 14 day forecast. 92 Friday. Ok. Now it's time to be negative Teresa Saturday, 96 Sunday, 97. That humidity will be increased too. And then it's nineties beyond that with low chances for showers or storms.
