[Music] and we're going to stay late night and we're going to go to tempy Arizona where the Mississippi State Bulldogs and their new Coach Jeff lebby they are headed for their first ever matchup with the uh surprising Arizona state sundevils after last week good gracious Arizona State 6 and a half Point home favorites Mississippi State money line oh and that was Juiced by the way Arizona State - 6 half it's - 115 at B us currently the m mississipp State money line is plus 218 if you think the dogs are going to win and the BET us total has moved from 565 on Sunday all the way out to 59 sorry all the way out to 60 it was 59 and a half this morning uh that's a lot of movement on a total a lot of movement uh the Bulldogs are two and four against the spread the last two seasons as a road dog Arizona state only two- Two Against the Spread as a home favorite uh in the last two seasons so Parker let's start with you here I mean these are two programs with problem solving head coaches which which makes me incredibly intrigued to see what product they're actually going to put on the field Saturday night tell me what you're expecting here yeah I think we talked about Mississippi State earlier um this season and I said you know they were 107th in opponent adjusted EPA per pass and all I can say about them this year is they will not be that bad again and I think we're backing up that a little bit and seeing that here Arizona State's defense needs some uh needs some work but I mean I sat down and charted three drives of Arizona state in the first half because I saw that result against Wyoming last week and thought what in in the absolute world happened here I love what they were doing on the offensive line strategically moving guys around a lot of a lot of counter motion a lot of just really kind of not not just window dressing because it serves a purpose but a lot of different looks it's impressive how Kenny Dillingham got this team to install this and start to execute this against a team that even though they lost their coach we we think of with high execution quality someone that's hard to hard to play against hard to beat so a lot of a fun against Arizona State not optimistic about the defense overall um they did get a a pick six and generate some points but General on the play play-by-play metrics you know not not an excellent performance as well I honestly feel very similar about them as I do Mississippi State I'd give the edge slightly to Mississippi state's offense just because I trust that system a little bit more and Trust the athletes but uh I think this will get a little pointy here um and I I think you got to give the edge to the SEC defense over the pack well Big 12 defense now um but this this should be a game where a lot of weird stuff happens and that's going to only benefit Arizona State I love the weird stuff happening kind of games uh Kyle what about you I mean Big Mo uh big movement on the total but is it warranted what what do you think about this number now yeah I mean I I do think it's warranted um Arizona State last year had such poor quarterback play that levit doesn't have to be like really good he just has to be decent we've talked about that about some other teams I think it's the same here uh levit a clear upgrade over the guys playing for for them at quarterback at the end of last year and and uh you know man I was kind of excited to watch Wyoming in Arizona State last week and then it just was not exciting at all uh it turns out Evans saota probably not Josh Allen like some people said but um Mississippi State at a 567 win over Eastern Kentucky they did block a punt for a touchdown a pick six uh ran the ball more than I would expect them to do in a game like this I think Mississippi state will score a decent amount of points here and I would suspect Arizona State's defense is a bit overrated based on you know just what we saw last week having said that I did take Arizona State under four and a half season wins and I'm a little worried about that to be honest with you after I saw that first game um I I love the quote from Arizona State coach Kenny Dillingham Tuesday after practice just want to shout this out because he said the team had an awful practice for most of the practice he said quote we haven't done anything yet we're still in nobody uh we have to get that out of our head that we just played a really good game who cares like it doesn't matter that we just did that last last week I like that mentality he said we played like a one and 11 team for most of practice uh you know these guys got to get it out of their head that they were amazing last week I think dillingham's a good coach so how quick can he get it going here I don't know we'll see I'm I'm hoping that they slow down here pretty soon but Arizona State should move the ball pretty easily on Mississippi state's defense I think Mississippi state's pass heavy attack will work here too uh this was 56 and a half earlier in the week and I would have taken it at that I'm just going to lean to the over here at 60 it's a it's a simple handicap for me right it's it's Dillingham and it's Jeff lebby in an after dark game and like Parker said there's going to be weird stuff happened which to me means there's going to be points Mississippi state's defense isn't really good they're going to have to throw the ball a lot turns out Blake shapen can actually be pretty good in that old Baylor offense I we just talked a lot about Arizona State I I like the over quite a bit here and I know it's moved three and a half points I'm still going to side with it like Kyle we talked about this on Sunday we both took it at 56 a half I believe uh I no I did I don't know if you did but I yes I'm still going to take the over on the show at 60 I think this thing gets real real pointy uh so yeah let's lock it in for me I'm taking the over 60 in Mississippi State and Arizona State [Music] oh [Music] [Music]
