there is some cautious optimism about Katherine in uh Palace circles what more can you tell us about how she's doing yeah I was Keen to write a piece last week to kind of explain to Daily Mail readers um where things are now and the point I made was that it has been a very very difficult year for them more difficult than anybody realizes I think without going into too much detail I think people either forgotten or don't realize that she really wasn't very well in the run up to her surgery in January so to those kind of champing at the bit slightly saying oh we're seeing these video appearances will we see her returning to full duties in the Autumn and the answer to that is no it will still be slow progress but on the good side is that they are in a much better position now than they have been all year um people are see the people I speak to seem much more upbeat and optimistic to the extent that William is planning a trip abroad in the Autumn for work
