Incident woke up to today story about Johnny hockey goodro and his brother being run over by a drunk driver and killed and the guy was 31 his brother Matthew was 29 and how about this they're from New Jersey South Jersey yep and they were home to go to their sister's wedding today in Philadelphia and you know what's creepy about that is that inane in July of 21 their holy at the time this matis kav linix he also died when he was hit by a firework at a wedding for Manny legacy's daughter in Michigan he was the uh goenda at the time on the blue jacket so a wedding in 21 guy gets hit with a firecracker and dies the goalie I'm not even making this up and then last night this hockey star from the Blue Jackets is with his brother on a bike they're riding bikes and some drunk driver hit him and that guy's going to be charged with death by Auto and DWI they say he was intoxicated and it first came out there was they wouldn't even report on it it was so horrific they just said they're not saying how they died they said that they ref used to tell how it happened that didn't last long within 20 minutes the story was everywhere you knew it I knew it and then 15 minutes well you knew they had been hit by by a car uh on bikes and then 15 minutes later you found out the guy was drunk yeah Scott it is absolutely a sickening story it's a complete Heartbreaker I I don't know how a family survives that kind of trauma there to celebrate the sister's wedding day it is just Agony and you talk about freak Personal Stories and Road Safety things I'm a road Rider I ride my bike a ton and I've seen some gar tell the story of what happened to you yeah so I ride with a regular group and it just to so happens that one of my real good buddies and I decided on this Sunday morning a few years past not to ride with the main group that we always rode with in New Jersey when we go out and ride come out of the city and way we go riding and we decided just to do our own separate ride up to a town called nyak no big deal off we went the group got hit the main group got hit by a car broken femur one guy was paralyzed from the waist down a complete [ __ ] nightmare and Scott it just reminds you and you know how it happened bro the woman was texting she's a real estate agent and she was [ __ ] texting and she ran off a a young father a dentist paralyzed [ __ ] put your phone down do you remember the the story of The Ref I knew that got hit on the bike you know who I'm talking about and he broke every bone in his body I actually enjoyed that story because I he's a as I wear this uh shirt for him because he's the worst ref ever and he cost me at least two or three championships and I wish that cuz he had broke every bone in his body I wish it would have been worse for him when I told him one day in a game it would have been a way better story if he would have died hey Scott you are all honesty you are a cold-hearted bastard but it does remind me while you were telling me about that goalie I'm thinking to myself why couldn't you just put up a glove and make the save why did you have to let the firecracker hit you in the face and blow your bre I don't get it I also Quarterback Tiers Discussion tiers I want to talk to you a little bit Scott about quarterback TI I got to put that down in my absolutely great prices and they have an app just go to the app yeah Scott tier one quarterbacks I'm GNA fire him out to you I would like a one sec a one sentence or two sentence why you agree with the tier or why not number one no-brainer Patrick Mahomes tier one uh it makes me sick what are you GNA say Joe Burrows tier one I think Joe Burrows a really good quarterback but he's been injured too much for me to put him in that tier one Josh Allen he makes too many mistakes I think he's too too Rogue to be tier one but I think he's a badass I I think he's I think he's dangerous I think he's good but tons of mistakes that go with it and he never gets it done that's my biggest thing why he's not in tier one for me is for me tier one you got to get it done listen he's had some unbelievable games where it's been like [ __ ] arcade game scores in the playoffs but you got to get it done Scott he loses you know he loses tier two this is really interesting here we go Lamar Jackson for the Ravens tier two with two MVPs he'd have to be in that tier right yeah I almost think it's tier one you and I could argue about that Matthew Stafford uh you know what I would say yes based on uh the ring uh and based on the fact that he still gets it done like he is dangerous when he's healthy he is uh capable of lighting up anyone yeah and the ring is a big thing Scott I think he's right where he belongs interesting one Justin Herbert no Talent yeah I'm with you it's a no for me no way he's not even tier three to me I mean he is the most what he really is is the most overhyped quarterback in the NFL and obviously he's paid an enormous amount of money because they all are be I think be based on his size and they love prototypical big size big tall 260 whatever type guy that's enormous he's big and meaty and can take a hit and everything else but he doesn't win I'm sorry dude I am 100% with you here's a really interesting one Aaron roders tier two I'd say he has to be based on his numbers and he's got a ring he should probably have more rings but it it's a team it's not him alone you have to have everyone on board to win and he got it done once and unfortunately against my Steelers when you got a ring and you got his stats he's Hall of Fame yeah he's 100% Hall of Fame I'm going to throw it out there that he's not tier two for me this season until I see him on the field because he was out all of last season I just think the Jets I won't be surprised if he just gets [ __ ] whacked and he's out again this year but great quarterback but you know what I think that was yesterday today he's old he's [ __ ] old CJ stra talking about not old CJ Str I think he's really exciting uh there's no doubt he's really exciting I need more of a spreadsheet on him I can't just have one season of super numbers and excitement and wins and and a playoff win uh I need more of it uh i' I'd probably I I think he's very exciting for me I'd probably put him tier three I agree with you Scott Dak Prescott lots of wins another tier three lots of wins but no playoff wins it's enough said Jared Goff uh I think Jared Goff had one great year although he's been to the he's been to the make that two great years he's been to the Super Bowl and lost and then he's he should have gone to the Super Bowl last year when they forked that game over to the 49ers I I think he's tier three as well yeah I I agree with you Scott this is a really interesting one because I think this guy he he's just it's a weird strange fit Jaylen hurz last year when they finished one and six and got B out of the playoffs that hurt before that happened some people could argue he was in tier one but I don't know I've never thought he was tier one at all in fact I'm gonna put him tier four you got it Brock pie tier three yeah I agree with you I think he's playing with great forward to this weekend partner because college football is all over the map this College Football and Sign Stealing Scandal weekend okay so tomorrow uh we're going to have a surprise on forel unplugged on Saturday morning and then uh the other thing is speaking of college football I watched the Conor stallions doc on Netflix and the bottom line is they made him out to be the victim of the sign stealing scandal at Michigan and it's all about how he was raised as a child to literally become Bo shackler he wanted to be bo shackler he wanted to coach Michigan ever since he was three years old he ran around with headsets on and he thought he was Bo shim bagler he made his way he believed that all the greatest coaches ever had military involvement so he went to the Naval Academy then he was a marine then he started working at college football as a sign stealer he was literally it is legal to steal signs and he became very good at it based on really I think going over the top and absolutely analytically speaking thousands and thousands of signs that he memorized and that he projected onto computers and made these analytic spreadsheet type every single signal known to man in college football he had down in a Bible of signals and then he took it to the field and started manipulating other teams signals and he was so [ __ ] good at it that he was literally like helping Michigan win games and a point of he was standing next to Harbaugh when he got that job and he was his like literally right-hand man next to him and whispering in his ear every play that was coming and he became his like dog he was like his lap dog he sat there and told him every play that was going to come uh I got to be honest with you I thought that he was magnificent at it I never knew how good he really was at it until you watch this thing how he manipulated uh teams but when it got to the point point of him sending friends drones and drones well friends I don't know about drones but I know he sent friends that he was in the military with boy childhood friends guys that he knew he'd sent them to games to film for him he bought him tickets and then they would sit there the whole game and film the game and then bring him the film and then he would study it that way and when it got to the point where the school got busted for cheating because of the uh sign stealing which I think is ironic because it's not illegal but it became illegal because Michigan was winning everyone started getting upset about it because Michigan was winning every game they played and they were beating teams so they suspended Harbaugh and they still [ __ ] won they suspended him and they went out and won all the games including Ohio State including Alabama including TCU to win the national championship they kicked everyone's ass W washing whoever it was all I know is that the the bottom line is they blamed him for everything they had to have a Fall Guy they blamed him for everything there's no denying that he did it there's no getting around the fact that they did it but in the end the premise of it was is that they in concert with that ruined his life like this guy's life is ruined he'll he's coaching High School football in Detroit he'll never coach in college football again his name is mud in college football you would think he was a murderer they treated him literally like a murderer but the fact of the matter is they tried to make him a victim but he did do it and he was deep in it but I'll say this much for the kid he was [ __ ] good at it he was really good at sign stealing so it's simple Mick if you're good at Robin Banks you're good at Robin Banks it's real simple he's good at sign stealing and better than anybody and and now the NCAA doesn't like that even though it was never illegal do you understand in in college they use signs in Pros they they talk into their helmets there's earpieces in college there isn't and they do all signs and he manipulated the system like no other and was he did his homework better than anybody else and he was really good at it they accused him of being at all these other games Incognito with disguises on and all this other stuff but I watched the documentary at the end of the day the five stars I would give it a two yeah so Scott I spent two days ago all day with good family friends who son a young doctor now went to yish they're crazy yish fans the whole house is decorated in Mish colors and when we talked about that kid they all said who gives a [ __ ] we want it and we don't care Harbo is in the pros now and he doesn't care either like Pete Carrol got blamed when he was in college and he's in the pros and he doesn't care it's got they don't care and by the way there is uh new rules now in college where you can use the headsets and the way they're trying to do with a lot of these quarterbacks is they put the plays on their wrist Scotty and then they just call a number out hey 14 the guy looks down he sees the whole play all the cues for it so they don't have to listen to all the noise because in college some of those stadiums you can't hear [ __ ] so pretty cool but anyway you know
