Playoff Bubble Chaos as Briscoe Earns the WIN! - NASCAR Cup Series Results & Recap

I'm Chase Brisco the NASCAR news kid be sure to like And subscribe hello everybody Welcome to NASCAR news kid and today we're going to talk about the Darlington cut off race for the playoffs not in the playoffs this year but it is the cutof it was exciting and for once I get to say Chase Brisco gets to win on this channel for the first time obviously not the first time Brisco has won his career we'll talk about the results the race uh recap as well so stay tuned for all of that before we do that first please hit the like button and subscribe if you haven't already thank you to all the channel subscribers who have already done that chase Brisco picks up his second win of his career first time in two and a half years he has won a race his first win came at the first Phoenix in 2022 it's been a while 90 plus races since his first win now we're talking two wins in his career Brisco fans including me have been waiting forever and I don't mean this in a bad way it's he's been so close to getting the win it was exciting to see him get in the playoffs since 2022 that was the last time he got in the playoffs obviously with his win uh in now in the playoffs he was previously 18th in standings uh and many playoff drivers had issues we'll talk about that too but before we do that let's get to the results and I'll point out why people didn't finish where they should have been have like the dnfs and who finished lap down who finished lead lap only 17 cars on the lead lap so let's get to the results here Chase Brisco picks up the win in second it's Kyle Busch third it's Christopher Bell fourth it's Kyle Larson finished where he started fifth for Chastain he was a must-win after not scoring any stage points I do think that a true fact Chastain stayed out on one of the restarts and got a nice finish Chris buer finishes sixth Hamlin seventh Joey lagon eighth Cory lejoy ninth Tyler reic who was sick during the race fish is 10th 11th for Chase Elliot 12th for Ryan priest who was actually up in the top five at one point 13th for Austin cindric 14th for Brad kazlowski 15th for Austin Dolan 16th for Bubba Wallace and 17th for Todd gilland now lock Downs Daniel Suarez 18th 19th for Alex Bowman 20th for Ty Gibbs 21st for Harrison Burton 22nd for Ricky Stenhouse Jr 23rd Zane Smith 2 4 for Eric Jones 25th for John herim 26th for SVG 27th for Justin Haley 28th for Michael McDow 29th for Daniel hamr 30th for William Byron 31st for Josh Barry 32nd for Noah Gregson 33rd for hos ofart and 34th for Cas grala in that 15 car now for dnfs unfortunate Timmy Hill 35th in the 66 car and in 36th and 37th if you're a fan of these two drivers you're going to be upset I'm sorry but Martin Truex Jr and Ryan blay [Music] dnf lap three all right let's get to the recap here like so like I said uh all those results let's get to the recap here so on poll was bubble Wallace r on the edge qualifying lap and I mean that in a good way on the edge almost spinning out in his qualifying lap he qualified on pole then lap three comes yes lap three so early in the race Mar TX Jr too aggressive too early a veteran in this sport he's so aggressive he touches Byron he gets loose he over corrects and hits blay Blay's into the wall and TX day is done unfortunate uh Trux out of the race Blain out of the race unfortunately blay had hand injury or something but he was fine other than that other than that for crashes Wallace Barry Gibbs All crashed in one big wreck Byron was in it as well and that was in the final stage and there was also two hosts of our crashes all by himself one tire went down I forget what the other one was but he was having issues but yeah overall those are the results oh I forgot about the stages stage one Kyle lson stage two Kyle arson and stage three Chase Brisco let's talk about the closing laps there is a restart 32 to go and that was epic epic I do have to say uh so down the front straightway I forget who was in the leag chastan gets the lead nice jump he's on Old Tires he gets a nice jump he goes into turn one turn two he still leading who was it lson and Bell side by side then was Gibbs no I think it was Chaz Dane Larson Gibbs and Brisco All right there Brisco gets a big run and throws it uses that run and sends it in the turn number three gets side by side with Ross Chastain Kyle Larson falls falls back Gibbs falls back and he's just gone but a couple cars pitted on that caution that was a host of our caution tire went out cuple cars pit and Kyle Bush among them pits Kyle bus has new tires he's coming to the front he is zooming up front and Kyle bus is moving forward and then with 14 laps to go he's closed in he's pass second or third place and he is coming up to battle for the lead now Kyle bus was running those final laps almost perfect Brisco was running those laps almost perfect and and Kyle Busch did everything he could Brisco did everything he could and they were battling all the way to the end two to go Bush gets really close coming to the White Flag but then he falls back and it's over it's brisco's hands and down the front straightway I was as excited I was so happy uh he finally Brisco finally gets the win and is in the playoffs I was I kept hope that he could win all race long I didn't get up throughout the race really at all to get anything uh it was so exciting that race was awesome I do have to say one of the most exciting races of all especially the last 15 14 laps are really exciting so that was probably a great race Southern 500 it's good to attract more NASCAR fans in like that with impressive racing just on oval like that um but overall very great race I love this race because one Brisco one and two the racing was fantastic but that'll do it thank you all for watching obviously I'm so happy I'm still happy that he won and uh I hope that's more to come especially next year with him going to jgr but that'll do it thank you all for watching I'll see you
