in entertainment and political news you probably saw late Tuesday night that Taylor Swift endorsed kamla Harris but since then one we've gotten some interesting updates and two there's this narrative out there that I want to comment on right and I'll start there because one of the criticisms that I saw out there was wow why does Taylor Swift even think that her opinion here matters which I'll say one if you have that opinion whether the celebrity comes out in support of Harris or Trump that's fair but if you don't have that same opinion when a celebrity comes out and support a trump you're a hypocrite and two I think there was a nonzero chance that Taylor Swift might have actually held back this election cycle and if anything Donald Trump and the whole AI Taylor Swift swifties for Trump movement it kind of forced her hands right they created a situation where if she stayed silent on this people would think hey maybe she is endorsing this maybe she is complicit but regarding Taylor Swift saying hey go out to vote here's a link it reportedly drove nearly 338,000 users to vote.gov which is a government website that directs users to State specific voting information but follow to stay in the loop
