Germany and Poland have hit out at each other over the investigation into the northstream explosions Germany accused Poland of sabotaging the investigation Poland has denied the accusation altogether claiming that it is investigating a possible Russian hand in the attack German investigators claimed that the main suspect was a Ukrainian diving instructor named vmir Zed well who last lived near Warsaw investigators have suspected him of carrying out the attack together with five other ukrainians but before he could be arrested he had reportedly fled to his home country German investigators are now accusing Poland of not executing the European arrest and search warrants issued against Zed by Germany's federal court of justice in June they claimed that Poland was sabotaging the investigation on September 22nd of 2022 there were a series of underwater explosions in the Baltic Sea three of the four branches of the Nord stre one and two pipelines which had been laid to supply gas from Russia to Germany had been destroyed causing worldwide uproar German investigators say that the six-man diving crew that allegedly planted the explosives from the sailing yacht Andromeda had been trained in Poland incidentally 7 days before the explosions The Vessel made a stopover in the seaside resort of col colik investigators say that here the yacht's crew members could have taken on board equip equipment necessary for the attack German investigators are also accusing the Polish authorities of deliberately withholding video recordings from the marina in kabz and being involved in providing logistical support for the underwater operation and a cover up German investigators say they are certain that the former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerie zi gave the order for the attack now it appears unlikely that the suspect vmir Z or Zed will ever have have to face German authorities in person under a European treaty Ukraine is not required to extradite its Nationals to other states other people suspected in the plot have presumably gone into hiding [Music]
