So tonight storms have calmed down, but we have more on the way for the weekend. What you really need to know about the Labor Day weekend storms is that they will be most likely during the afternoons and evenings. The impact is not a widespread storm set up, widespread rain, but rather these pop up storms. So some of us get the rain each day. A lot of us do not. So I don't think you need to cancel any of your weekend plans that are outdoor plans, but keep them flexible. Listen to the weather, you know, on your phone and know when there's storms heading in a direction down on the 11 live app would be a great way for you to stay informed of storms heading in your area. All right. Forecast track tomorrow morning, gonna be a dry start to the day. Then we heat up pretty quickly. By lunchtime, we're in the mid and upper eighties and then once we get that peak heating of the day, here we go, some showers and storms start developing as they develop locally, heavy rain and lightning will be possible. And like today, we can see an isolated stronger storm with damaging winds. They're going to peak through the afternoon and by the time we get towards sunset in the evening, they'll start to calm down. What about Sunday? Copy paste, repeat, quiet. Start to the day. We get into the afternoon time showers and storms develop again. Some of us get the rain. A lot of us do not. And that will be the pattern heading into Monday as well. So if you're tailgating tomorrow morning out by Mercedes Benz Stadium, we are looking good to go, but after the game has kicked off, I do expect storms to form in the afternoon so that could impact the championship at East Lake like it did today. And also if you're tailgating ahead of the Georgia State and Georgia Tech game, couple of showers and storms can impact tailgators by kick off at eight o'clock at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Most of these should be calming down. So we're looking good to go with temperatures falling down into the eighties. So over the weekend, scattered storms possible Monday pretty isolated in nature tomorrow and into Sunday, temperatures will be in the nineties but say goodbye to those nineties. We are turning cooler as we look at next week.
